I Hope You Dance! by Myra Boozer

Surrender is hard for most of us. We have all the answers and we don't want to give in to anyone. But, it would be nice to be swept off our feet and held in the arms of God for a time of refreshing, a time of laughter, a time of release from this ole world and all its cares. The road seems long and tiring some days and our cares become attached as though they are determined to stay and drag us down...way down.

But, as we listen to the voice calling in the distance, "Come to me my child and I will carry you, I will give you rest." It becomes a silver-lined invitation on the best stationery you could ever envision. An invitation to lay down all that is bothering you, all that has crept upon you when you were just going about your normal routine of life...

He is calling and He is waiting with arms open wide. So, what is stopping you? Go ahead, surrender to His voice, yield to His call. “Let God have you and Let God love you and don't be surprised if your heart begins to hear music you have never heard before."

I pray you surrender, laying every burden down at His feet, allowing Him to lift you above all the cares that so easily beset you. Allow Him to sweep you off your feet and dance. Yes, I hope you dance...

"Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing..." Psalm 30:11. 

Where Do We Go From Here?

Jeremiah 8:20, “The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.”

Jeremiah lamented the future state of Judah! He saw through the prophetic that they would languish in sorrow as a people who had failed to reap the spring or summer harvest. God had presented them with the opportunity to repent and return to His provision but they insisted upon holding to their false gods. They had to make a decision and that decision would determine their future.

Much in the same way, I lament the future state of our nation and our world seeing that mankind as a whole has refused the gift of grace in Jesus Christ. What does the immediate future hold for the world, our nation, the Church, and each individual? God alone knows what is ahead and only He can position us where we really need to be. However, we must come to Him now in repentance and submit our will to His.

Where Do We Go From Here? The choices and decisions we make now will determine where we go in the coming days and the impact we will have on the world around us. “Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.” John 4:35

Wrestling with turmoil and pain…

Searching for acceptance and finding none…

Longing for love and companionship, only to be disappointed…

Rejected and forgotten, alone in the crowd…

Searching in all the wrong places and coming up empty…

Just to remind you there is one who can calm all your fears…

Dry all your tears and bring a warm fire to your life…

Make you His own, to never be forgotten or forsaken…

He is Jesus…

YES, Jesus Died For You and He longs to come and be your EVERYTHING! 

The Gift Of God Is Eternal Life!

Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Jesus died for us when we were dead in our sins and doomed to an eternity in hell! How can we fully grasp what His dying on an old rugged cross really means to us? Our frail human mind cannot fully comprehend the magnitude of God’s gift to us. How can someone whom we haven’t previously known be willing to sacrifice His only Son for our benefit? Romans 5:6, “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

When we knew not how lost we were, God had planned for our total and complete deliverance. Through the precious blood offering of His Son Jesus, the pure and spotless Lamb of God, the penalty for sin was paid. When barely for a righteous man and possibly for a good man some would dare to die, God loved us when we were still sinners.

Jesus died for us and we are justified by His blood. We are saved from the wrath of God as we look to the cross and believe. When the sin in us made us enemies of God we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son. We have now received life through the atonement for our sin by Christ Jesus. He died and rose again to provide our deliverance, to free us from the curse of sin and sin’s punishment.

God’s desire is for all men everywhere to be saved. 1 Timothy 2:4, “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all...” God has prepared the way through the gift of His only Son. The penalty for sin has been paid.  All one needs to do is repent of his sins and accept the Lordship of Christ in his life.

Pray this prayer with me and receive God’s unspeakable GIFT of salvation. “Lord Jesus Christ, I desire to be saved from the curse of sin and sin’s punishment. Thank You for paying the penalty for my sin. I believe You gave Your life to ransom my life. I believe You died on the cross but You rose victorious over death, hell and the grave on the third day just as You had promised. I’m tired of my life of sin. From this moment forward, I give my life to You. I belong to You. Use me for Your honor and glory and give me an eternal home with You in heaven. Thank You for Your GIFT of eternal life! Thank You for saving me! Amen!”

Sorrows may last for the night

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

Sickness may seem to have its way

Heartaches may swell and your heart may bleed

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

Friends may withhold their love from you

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

Troubles may pound upon your door

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

Your pantry may be empty and the rent may be due

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

The family you have counted on, all your life may all be gone

But Joy is Coming in the Morning.

Your finances may dwindle and finally run out

The night may be long and weary no doubt

But Joy is coming in the Morning!

Psalms 30:5, "...weeping may endure through the night, but joy comes with the morning."

Remember faith grows in darkness. He is Coming. Don't give up but hold to His promise! Joy Is Coming In The Morning! 

Call Unto The Lord And He Will Answer You!

Psalm 3:3, “But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. 4 I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. 5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.”

We need to be ready to leave where God is not and go to where God is! It is always important to know where we are and where God is. Where are we in relation to where God desires us to be? We must press in and press through the enemy's opposition into the good God has for us and all that we may influence. We must Call Unto The Lord!

Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” God has “good” planned for those who will answer His call and follow Him in faith. He has a secured end or divine heritage. We need not question our finish if we only heed the voice of God. He knows where He is going and He goes before us and leads the way. John 10:4, “And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.” We must determine if we are going to follow Christ whatever the cost! We must Call Unto The Lord!

Jeremiah 29:12, “Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.” Oh, to Call Unto The Lord our God, to seek His face and hear and see His answers! He promises to hear and respond (hearken). Our challenge is to clearly perceive His response. The Spirit of God is pushing back against the darkness that permeates this sinful world. God is calling His warriors to come alongside Him, join in the battle, and share His victory. He is calling us to our knees to intercede for a lost and dying world. Will you Call Unto The Lord?

Jeremiah 29:13, “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” God is always available, “...ye shall seek me, and find me...” He is always with us. But we must have a sense of His presence to recognize His voice and to understand what he is doing or planning to do. God's promise is that we will find Him when we search for Him with all our hearts.

The human condition requires the intervention of our creator. We always need God's assistance. The question is, “Do we really want his help?” Are we willing to relinquish complete control of our lives to Him? He knows the way we take (the path we should follow) and will direct our steps accordingly.

God has a plan for us, a plan for good and not evil. He has an expected (secured) finish for His faithful, obedient children. Lord, help us to search for you with all our hearts. Help us to walk in your manifest presence and to seek you with all our hearts! Amen. He compassionately entreats, and pleads for us to Call Unto The Lord! 

Do You Hear The Sound Of Angel Wings? by Myra Boozer

"But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea the deep things of God."  1Corinthians 2:9-10

Do you hear the sound of Angel wings as they prepare for a great inflow of saints upon the stairs of Heaven? Can you hear the Angel band tuning up for the Welcome Song? Do you hear the clatter of dishes as the table is being prepared for the Great Banquet and the Marriage Supper of the Lamb? Are you getting anxious to see your Savior, the one who died for you and has walked every step with you through this life?

Oh, what a Day that will be! We will live with Him eternally in our new home. I don't think it will be about the grandeur of the place, even though it will be grand...but about the Holy One that will be the LIGHT. It will be about the love that will permeate the whole atmosphere. The joy that we have tasted will be brought to full fruition. The peace that has settled down on us at times will be multiplied beyond measure. The glory that fell and brought us to sheer delight will be greater than all this earth has ever known. The knowledge of who Jesus was to us will expand into volumes of understanding and revelation.

Yes, Heaven will be so beautiful to our eyes but our soul will encounter the King of Kings as we bow before His Throne. There are no words to describe what we will experience. Pure is one word that comes to mind...not mixed, immaculate, unadulterated, transparent, unblemished, purified, refined...on and on the description could go of the Pure and Holy atmosphere we will experience because of Jesus!

Do you have lots of questions that need answers? Don't worry, when you arrive "Home" you'll forget them all for they will be irrelevant. Without a doubt, you will be fulfilled and satisfied with all your surroundings. You'll be resting in the presence of the Lord and His Divine Plan for eternity.

Don't get too adjusted to this world. Make plans to move into your brand new HOME. Listen for the sound of Heaven! Be ready when He calls! 

Hearing From God!

People need the Lord! And, we must have direction from the Lord! We are standing at the door of the most life-changing event in our time, the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. As the Body of Christ, we must look to God for the revelation and wisdom to complete our mission here. We must hear from God to know how to finish well!

As I looked over some correspondence, I ran across an email from the late Bishop L.V. Jones addressing this subject. It is just as relevant today as when he wrote it on 10/23/16.

“In a little while we will assemble as the Body of Christ at our meeting places. A favorite book in the Bible for me is Habakkuk, God's Prophet to Judah. He had seen Judah when she was spiritually strong and now in decline. The world affairs were in a mess; and so were the affairs of God's people. The Prophet searched to know God's mind and asked ‘Why are you silent knowing what is happening?’

So much like Today, the worldview was well established. The Prophet understood the need for God's View to be clearly understood. The Holy Ghost takes God's Word, makes it relevant and applicable to our Day. We need to hear directly from God's Throne Today...”

The Holy Spirit within us is groaning for the Will of God to be performed in the life of each believer. Will you respond to the groanings of the Holy Spirit in you?

Lord, I want to know the thoughts you are thinking toward me! I want to hear what you are saying to me! Lord Jesus, give me the revelation of your thoughts toward me.

What would happen if believers in every church congregation began to walk in the revelation of God’s thoughts toward them? If they would respond to the groanings of the Holy Spirit and walk in the revelation of God’s will in their daily walk with Him! Jesus said, “...if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven,” Matt. 18:19. Can you imagine the fulfillment of this promise? As each person begins to walk in the revelation of God’s thoughts toward them, and as God’s people come into agreement with the will and desire of God through the Holy Ghost, the Body of Christ would turn the world upside down for Jesus Christ.

Acts 17:6, “... These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;” 

Distractions? by Myra Boozer

If you were at the Airport Terminal with your bags packed and your ticket in hand would you throw those things aside grab a taxi and head back home to start a "makeover?" Would you tear down and build a bigger home and plant an orchard? Or start making plans for more training on how to build your career? Not really! Not if your mind and your heart were set, fixed, and determined to make the trip of your life. Say, a trip to your final destination, to the place that Jesus has gone to prepare for you.

Now mind you, we don’t know when the call will come to leave this earth but we can see all the signals are giving the go-ahead. Even if there is a delay at the airport, you don’t go back home. You stay sitting on ready because when the call is given you must be READY!

Are we getting Ready? Many distractions will come to us in many different forms. This is our great challenge, to NOT become entangled with the affairs of this life when we see that day fast approaching. Galatians 5:1, "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." The affairs of this world can become bondage to us, distracting us from our ultimate goal.

The call for all of God's people is about to happen. The call is about to be made for all those "Departing" this sinful world.  We are going HOME! 1 Peter 4:7 "But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer." We must be vigilant, alert, and listening for his call. Don't allow the sounds of Distractions to cause you to miss the Sound of His Coming...Be Ready! 

Put On The Armor Of God!

Put on the whole armor of God so you can stand against every devious plan of Satan!

Eph. 6:10, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”

Many who once stood for Biblical principles and righteous living avoid confronting the societal pressures of our day. Progressive thinkers in our society demand that the Church embrace all people, lifestyles, and behaviors. In so doing, they are removing their covering of Holiness, Divine protection, and Divine intervention. They no longer wear the whole armor of God.

These so-called Christians stand naked before God and in this present spiritual battle. The weapons that Jesus gave for the victory of the Body of Christ are no longer available to them. Why? Because they have stripped away their covering, no longer desiring to be identified with Christ's teaching that the Church is to be separated from the world. 2 Cor. 6:17, “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.” They have removed their covering and therefore stand powerless in the face of overwhelming darkness.

However, not all churches or individuals have given up their role in the Body of Christ. There is a remnant of true believers who are seeking God's intervention in the affairs of men. God is answering their prayers. God is moving where believers are submissive and obedient. They access and God delivers the “dunamis” of Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” That is Christ's promise!

The army of Christ is rising up. Rising up in the covering of Jesus Christ. That covering is the manifest presence of Christ in the Holy Ghost. If you have received since you believed, you carry the covering of Christ. The Holy Spirit is calling upon the Body of Christ to rise up in the power of that covering and do His work. What is that work? To proclaim the gospel for the salvation of souls. If we will accept His commission, we have His promise! The gates of hell cannot prevail against the Body of Christ. Why? Because we are secure in Christ's covering! We are dressed in God’s Armor and filled with His Holy Spirit! 

What's On Your Calendar? by Myra Boozer

“For the Lord himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we EVER be with the Lord... Wherefore, COMFORT one another with these words,” 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18.

For the Child of God, this should be on your Calendar! He is coming! We don't know when, but we know He is Coming. I do NOT regret the years I have lived my life with this anticipation. Even though He has not returned as of yet, it has made me who I am and has kept me more focused on what is eternal, instead of what is temporal. The word temporal means worldly, not spiritual, secular, of, or limited by time. (Webster's New Dictionary)

I believe the way we live our lives daily has such an influence on ALL the decisions we make, and on our goals and expectations of life. If we are continually focused on our plans for today, if our life revolves around "us" and what we want, we will be grabbing for all that we can get not really thinking of the day we are living in and where we are on God's Calendar.

We then become addicted to THINGS. We are never fulfilled, never satisfied, always searching, always desiring "something" new, something different to fill our lives. You see, this is a trick from all the way back to Eve and the "lust of the eye." It was just so appealing and she just had to have it. Also, the promise from the serpent was that it would make her like God. It inevitably brings its reward of spiritual death if not repented of. What’s On Your Calendar for the next few weeks or months? This thought might help us to re-evaluate where we are and where we're going!

What Is The Answer? Jesus Is The Answer!

During the celebration of this Christmas season and the beginning of the New Year, I continue to ask myself the following question: What is the answer? What is the answer to the atrocious, appalling, frightful, horrific conditions around the world? We have never lived in a time equal to the suffering, discord, and mayhem we see today. The whole of mankind has failed in its effort to govern and provide for the basic needs of humanity. What is the answer?

The Angels announced the answer over 2000 yrs. ago in a field just outside a little town in Judea called Bethlehem. Luke 2:6, “And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. 7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. 8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. 10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.”

Although the answer was given, He was rejected much like He is being rejected in our world. Many are in celebration of a holiday but they are not celebrating the gift of the holiday which is Jesus, the Messiah, our Savior. In the world's wholesale rejection of God's solution to our problem, the whole of humanity has plunged into a deep, impenetrable darkness from which only the Light of Lights can deliver us. John 1:9, “That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.”

I must conclude that our current world climate is similar to the time of Noah. Gen. 6:5, “And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Men had become so wicked in their manner of living and thought that God concluded that He would erase the slate and start over. I am convinced that is where we are now. God is preparing to erase mortal flesh as we know it and create a new heaven and new earth to begin new and fresh.

There will be one great difference between Noah's new beginning and the New World to come. In our new habitat, the forces of sin and evil will be cast into the lake of fire and are eliminated forever. There will not be carnal, fleshly, sinful governance for all present in the New World will have been born of the Spirit and changed for eternity. All disobedience and rebellion will be cast into outer darkness. Jesus will sit on His Throne and govern His Kingdom with Truth and Righteousness. Matt. 6:13, “...For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.” Jesus Is The Answer!

Our Hope Is In Jesus! by Myra Boozer

Just thinking how Satan works to paint a picture of a horrible, no-win situation in the lives of those who may be going through a dry valley...a place where you are thirsty for a drink of spiritual water...a place where you seem to be all alone and no one seems to have time to give you an encouraging word...a time when the wall just won't come down and the Lord seems to withhold the ladder for you to climb over. And then, with everything else it's time to pay those bills and the money is low...the tears seem to flow and the heart breaks but you find that the Lord is standing in front of you holding out His hands to you...wanting to lift you from the valley and sit you on the mountain of Hope where the sun is shining and the birds are singing the song of deliverance.

It is up to you...after you pour out your heart and rid yourself of all doubt and fears...reach up to the ONE who can change that picture and give you the best drink of water you have ever had. He will tear down those walls and open doors that have been closed. His promise is for you! Oh God! Show Us Your Mercy!

As I gaze out my window, I am reminded of how good and great God is. The earth with all its beauty was created by Him. He spoke the words and all things were made. The glory of it all is incomprehensible except by the Spirit of God. He must open our eyes to the totality of all He has placed in our world. Help us Lord to search and find. Help us to see all your beauty and glory. My mind, my heart, and my spirit stand in awe of the wonder of Your creation!

In contrast, the picture of this world is catastrophic. What man has done to the glory of God's creative masterpiece is a shame and disgrace! How can we sincerely ask God to bless the mess that man has created? I simply pray, “God, show us your love, show us your grace, show us your mercy.” Just as the wind bends the mighty oak tree and its leaves and branches yield completely to the strength of the wind, may the Holy Spirit of God cause the nations to bow in convicted repentance. God move us by your Holy Spirit to yield to your will and your way. Bring us to a convicted repentance! Oh God! Have Mercy On Us! Oh God! Save us!

Isaiah 1:18, “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. 19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: 20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.” 

Holy Father, Cover Me! by Myra Boozer

There is a covering sent down from the Father Above. That covering is the Presence of the Holy Spirit. He will hover over the Righteous and fill every void. He will filter out the world and the stench of sin and corruption. He will dispense the "sweet smell" of Holiness upon the people of God bringing love, joy, and peace to the Believer.

He cannot be bought or purchased in any store. Nor can we wrap Him and give Him as a gift. He comes from the Father, the one who sets people free, free from sin and condemnation. He is the all-powerful work of God that Jesus promised to those who seek NOT the "Things" of this world but seek the HEART of God and all that He has for us.

His presence is priceless, far above rubies or treasures of this world, far above pleasures or longings of the flesh. He is not only a covering but an infilling of God's presence that will captivate you and your desires. What we need is to be covered in His Presence, the Greatest Gift we could ever receive. 2 Cor. 9:15, “Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.” Holy Father Cover Me! 

Peace And Freedom In The Holy Ghost!

John 14:16, “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.”

John 14:26, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. 27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

As individuals in the Body of Christ, we need to recognize and embrace the work of the Holy Ghost. He is now, and will be in the time ahead of us, an indispensable confidant. The power of Christ through the Holy Ghost is essential to our success individually and as the Body of Christ. We need to experience Him in the same way that we read about in the book of Acts. The same Holy Ghost empowered the first-century Church to turn the world upside down. 

We need to walk in the unabated freedom of the Holy Ghost. Unabated means “continuing at full strength or force without becoming weaker, being at full strength or force.” The power of the Holy Ghost will never diminish and we will require His full authority, presence, and perspective at every moment of this journey. We dare not proceed without being fully immersed in His person and baptized in the power of His presence. His guidance is essential! The choices and decisions ahead will be difficult. Not difficult to make but difficult in the sense of their consequences. A step forward without the absolute wisdom and guidance of the Holy Ghost could put us on a path of irreparable error. At the very least, choices made without His full assurance will cause unnecessary sorrow and suffering. The road back is always burdensome.

The storms of darkness will rage against the souls of light. Jesus Christ is fully aware when the storms come. He is with us in the person of the Holy Ghost, therefore, the storms will respond to His voice. He is the Master of ALL! When the storms of life are raging, He will stand by me. At the mere utterance of His command, the winds cease and there is peace.

Psalm 31:19, “Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! 20Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.”

I must run to my hiding place, my refuge from the storm. My soul craves the quietness there. In the stillness, I find peace and rest. He lifts me above this world's raging sea. He quiets the winds and calms the blustery waves. He commands “peace, be still” and the wholeness of my life returns. I find peace and freedom in the presence of His Spirit! 

Jesus Knows Every Heart! by Myra Boozer

Jesus plainly told the people (the Pharisees and Scribes) when He was here on earth, that He and His Father were one. He also told them His Father gave Him the Authority to do the things He did.

Wow! They did not like that one little bit. They were so angry with him. They tried to trick Him all the time and were so ready to find fault with Him. They did not believe Him to be the Son of God. They were continually taking apart every word He spoke. Even though they knew the Word, they would not accept Him, the Word incarnate, God in the flesh!

Jesus was very clear about who He was and it was very clear to Him as to who they were because He saw their hearts. They were very religious, but they didn't want to accept Him and they didn't.

No one can fool Jesus! Even though they knew the law, they read it day and night, He saw their hearts. No matter how much knowledge one has about the Word, he must accept the Word in the flesh. JESUS is the Son of the living God! He is the ONLY way to the FATHER!

" Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me; or else believe me for the very works’ sake." John 14:11 

God's Gift Of Redemptive Grace!

The Truth of God’s redemptive grace is exercised in the gift and sacrifice of His Son Jesus, our Messiah. Why would God make such a sympathetic offering? The answer lies in the text of John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.” All that desire the Truth will navigate toward the Light of God, make the necessary adjustments in the strength of Jesus Christ, and walk in His Truth.

We are born into this life carrying this enormous burden called “sin.” The entire human race was plunged into a state of sin due to the disobedience of our mother and father, Adam and Eve. They fell for the Serpent’s temptation and ate the forbidden fruit. God placed a curse upon the earth because of their disobedience.

God has included all under sin that He might offer the remedy. Galatians 3:22, “But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe...26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

Jesus Christ is God’s Gift Of Redemptive Grace to this lost and dying world. The Truth of His redemptive grace reaches into the darkest crevices of life to illuminate the path of lost mankind. Look to Jesus, our Messiah, today and be loosed from the penetrating, consuming darkness enveloping our world. Jesus will deliver and empower you to walk in the freedom only He can give!

God Is Still In Charge!

1 Chronicles 16:31, “Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The LORD reigneth.”

You might look at the current conditions in our world and question, “Who is in control of all this chaos?” The answer is not complicated. In fact, it is really simple. God is still in control! Even though Satan is the instigator of all the hate, unrest, and mayhem, he can do no more than what God allows him to do. God, who spoke the worlds into existence, set the earth on its axis, threw the stars into the heavens, and drew the boundaries for the oceans is still in control.

Satan is still subject to the Sovereign Power and Authority of the Lord God Almighty. You might ask the question, “If God is in control, why are we seeing all the destruction, pain, suffering, and death that has come to our nation, cities, and communities?”

God is Sovereign! However, as our Creator, He created us with the idea that we should be creatures of “free will.” We were all created with the gift of choosing the path for our lives. Obviously, some people do not choose wisely and therefore suffer the consequences of those choices. And many times their choices will affect the lives of others.

We have become living witnesses of that very thing. Many are suffering all around our world because the choices of some to perpetuate evil have overflowed into the lives of the people around them. The Bible tells us in 2 Timothy 3:13, “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” That is one sign of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. God is simply allowing prophecy to be fulfilled in preparation for the consummation of all things in Christ Jesus.

We must look to God and draw strength from His Promises. He will not leave us or forsake us but He is getting us ready for our eternal home with Him in the New Heaven and the New Earth. This world will be destroyed and we will start all over just as in the beginning. No sin, no evil, no sickness or disease but live in paradise for eternity because our God is still in control!

Walk with Him and receive His Power.

Ask of Him and receive His Wisdom.

Listen for Him and hear His voice.

Praise Him and He will give you a Song.

Humble yourself before Him and He will exalt you.

Wait on Him with good courage and He will strengthen your Heart.

Eat at His table and you shall be filled.

Delight yourself in Him and He will give you the desires of your Heart.

Submit yourself and He will wash you clean.

Give what you have and He will multiply it.

Sit at His feet and He will teach you.

Look to Him and He will show you great and mighty things.

Put your Hope in Him and you will not be disappointed.

Lift Him high and others will be drawn to Him.

Love righteousness and hate wickedness and He will anoint you with Gladness above others.

Remember Him and you will rejoice.

Let God Arise and his enemies will be scattered.

Call upon Him and He will answer you.

Seek Him and You will Find Him. 

It's Not God's Fault!

Isaiah 59:1, “Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:”

The condition of our world is not God’s fault! Sin has separated mankind from God but it’s not God’s fault! Man has chosen to walk in the path of sin rather than heed God’s counsel and correction.

In Isaiah 59, Isaiah gives a litany of sins for which Israel needs a redeemer. He observes that judgment, justice, and truth are qualities absent from the life of Israel. Because there was no qualified mediator, God would provide salvation through the coming kinsman Redeemer. This salvation is in Jesus Christ whom they rejected at the First Advent. But God promises that He will forgive their sins and restore them in covenant relationship in the end. Isaiah 59:20, “And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD. 21As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.”

The promise of the kinsman Redeemer “and unto them that turn from transgression,” is a provision of the covenant but will be implemented through repentance and acceptance of Jesus Christ as the Messiah. That will happen to a remnant of Israel in the end.

The call of God to all humanity is to repent and return to God in covenant relationship through Jesus Christ. Any people who expect the favor and covering of God must approach Him in repentance and follow in obedience. One of the greatest judgments that God brought against Israel was their failure to uphold “truth and justice.” That principle is just as relevant to our world today. If God brought the leadership of Israel to judgment because of their lack of truth and justice, He will do the same for every generation.

We must have the intervention of God in these last days. Let all men in every place fall prostrate before Him, casting all care upon Him, and receive His light of pure redemption. That is going to be ABSOLUTELY THE MOST IMPORTANT in the days just ahead... 

What Are Your Priorities In Life?

Matthew 6:19, “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

If you were to make a list of what is most important to you, what would that list look like? What is the driving force for your goals and accomplishments? It is very important that we can answer this question clearly and precisely. Our future and the future of those we influence depend upon our response.

It is expedient that our focus is on the important things in life. At this late hour, we cannot afford to be distracted by the minor issues. “Keep the main thing, the main thing.” The attention, time, and effort we invest will impact greatly the results we experience.

In Romans 14, Paul wrote to address the significance of the church’s relationship with God as opposed to the external issues. Matters of the heart will rule the day, therefore, we must keep our hearts right with God! The Roman church had failed to keep their relationship with God as the main thing. Subsequently, external matters became divisive in their attempt to serve God as a church. Romans 14:17, “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. 18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God...” God’s kingdom is the main thing and is not centered on external matters.

Matthew 7:21, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

We make mistakes and experience unnecessary heartaches when our priorities are not in sync with God’s will and purpose for our lives. God should always come first. Our relationship with God is a priority over everyone and everything. It is the foundation for everything else! Our relationship will directly affect our obedience to God’s direction in our lives. Our obedience is essential for our deliverance and ultimate victory! What Are Your Priorities In Life?

Matthew 7:24, “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.” 

Time To Be Very Still! by Myra Boozer

Colossians 3:15, "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body, and be ye thankful."

For quite a while now a big squirrel has perched right on the top point of the building out back. He looks like an ornament, really, he seems frozen, not moving except the wind blowing his fluffy tail. I wonder if he is angry about this weather, or maybe the stash he had for his family is depleted. I don't know, maybe he is confused by this weather. One moment the sky is sprinkling snow on us, just like you would sprinkle confectioner sugar on your French toast, then all of a sudden it stops and the sun shines so bright. You think, wow is it over, then it starts up again. That's the way of confusion and it's something we all have at times. It is hard to deal with when your prayers are still not heard and your heart is breaking for your loved ones. You began to question God, “Why the delay?”

This is the time to be very still and very quiet and just wait, just like the squirrel perched on the highest point. God can soothe all our frustrations and calm our minds. We can rest in His presence and know He loves us but we must remember sometimes He allows us a little while of "feeling all alone and confused." Don't give up and don't complain. Rest in the fact that God has it all in His hands and in His time He will make all things beautiful...with no confusion. He brings Peace and Joy that will overflow in our hearts and bring assurance in every situation. Time To Be Very Still! (This was written some time ago but is very fitting for today.) 

What Would Jesus Do? Conclusion

What a difference the presence of the Holy Spirit makes in this spiritual conflict. He empowers us to take back what the enemy has stolen from us. Satan has stolen the future of our priceless treasures, our heritage, and our progeny and holds them before us taunting us as one might taunt a caged animal. But we must be determined not to be bound by him. By the power (dunamis - ability/can) of the Holy Spirit (pneuma – the breath of God) we are loosed and walk in freedom. Acts 2:2, “And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.” By the power of Almighty God the door of the prison explodes and we are FREE, FREE to bombard the gates of hell and take back ALL Satan has stolen.

We are free so that we can lead others free. Jesus came to set the captives free. As His Holy Spirit indwells us, we are free to be the visible evidence of the delivering power of God. We are free to be the God living, breathing, miraculous working possession of God. We belong to Him. No power of hell can defeat a Spirit-filled child of God. We are free in God to restore what the enemy has stolen.

What Would Jesus Do? He would do the very same thing now that He did then! Let Him do it through YOU! 

Jesus Will Make All Things New! by Myra Boozer

Revelation 21:5, “And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.”

Lord, may we cast off any and all distractions that keep us from focusing on You. Those things devour our time, leaving us tattered and worn, even frazzled in our thinking. The things that pull us down into despair. May we discard them for today as you draw us into Your domain.

May we turn our thoughts to resting in YOU and your precious mercy, that You so graciously extend by Your right hand. May we sit in Your presence and be renewed, refreshed, and revived. May we feel the touch of Angel wings upon our faces as we measure the depth of Your unfailing love.

May we feel your gentle hand upon our cheek as you dry our tears. Yes, Lord may we cast aside all that is pulling and draining our very soul. May we know without a doubt that you are taking care of every worry and every heartbreak, as we climb up in your lap and lay our head on Your big shoulder. You are our Loving Father! May we never grow so wise in our thinking that we fail to remember we are a child, Your Child! We are Yours, Lord! May we never forget Your great Love for us! 

What Would Jesus Do?

What would Jesus do if He were with us right now? How would He react to all the tragic events taking place in our world? What would He propose as the solution to our dilemma? If He literally walked among us today, I suppose He would behave much the same way He did when He walked the streets of Jerusalem and the shores of Galilee. He would still be calling disciples, opening blinded eyes and deaf ears, healing all manner of diseases, and raising the dead. I suppose He would still be turning the money changers out of the places of worship, chastising the religious leaders for their selfish goals, and constantly reforming the way we conduct church to ensure that the focus of our worship is the Lord God, Father of all. I suppose He would still take charge of nature by causing the winds to be still and the boisterous waves to be at peace.

What a difference He would make if He were literally, physically here with us. He would speak peace to the storms that disrupt our daily lives and take our innocent ones from us. He would speak deliverance to the captives, those captured by the destructive and perverse plans of Satan. He would open the eyes and ears of those who are imprisoned by deception and false religion. He would openly and decisively challenge the egregious behavior that has invaded His house. He would put the devil in his place by casting him out and confining him to the pit of hell.  What a difference Jesus would make!

Oh! But wait! He is here! He lives in the heart of every Spirit-filled believer in the person of His Holy Spirit. What a difference He wants to make through you and me! Let us give ourselves wholly to Him and see Him bring good tidings to the meek, bind up the brokenhearted, proclaim liberty to the captives, and open the prison to them that are bound, to proclaim the acceptable year of our Lord. Put Your Trust In Jesus! by Myra Boozer

In light of what is going on in our world today, I want to offer this prayer.

“I pray we give our attention to God more than ever and stand with Him and His Holy Word...I pray we give time to those around us as though they are family and depend on us...I pray for strength and encouragement to come just at our time of need...I pray for love to send forth its power to bring in the lonely and the hurting from the cold that has settled on our world...I pray for truth to invade our lives as a strong and mighty wind stirring in our souls...I pray for unity to prevail in the hearts of all believers so that the world might see and know that God is alive and working among us...I pray for peace to surround us like a strong light coming from the throne room of God...I pray for joy, the kind that is deep-rooted and cannot be shaken by the howling of the enemy...I pray for eyes to see the beauty that is in everything we hold...I pray for ears to hear the whispers of our babies as they pull on our heartstrings and long to be close to us...I pray for guidance from above as we travel the road we have never traveled before...It is all new and our hearts are excited but our minds question what lies ahead for each and every one of us...Trust in Him who will not leave you...Put Your Trust In Jesus!” 

Why Settle For Less?

John 10:7, “Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

Why would you settle for less than the best your life could be? It all depends on who or what you put your trust in! The system of this world will let you down. We cannot place our trust in the hands of mortal man but must seek out the “life giver” who already has a plan, His plan for our lives. If we will obey His call, He will fully implement His Divine “order” in us and through us.  Order suggests the way objects in space or events in time are arranged or follow one another. God knows where we need to be at any given time so He may bring forth His Divine purpose in us. He is vividly aware of the best possible path for our lives. He sees our future and knows the way we should take.

Job describes our dilemma and the solution to our problem. Job 23:8, “Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him: 9 On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him: 10 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” Job’s writing illustrates the limitations of our carnal flesh. I go forward, backward, right and left but I cannot see Him. True, we can not see Him if we are walking in the flesh. We must commit our lives to the Lord Jesus Christ and trust Him because He knows the way that we should take.

Jesus said, “...I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” Jesus’ promise is far more than being alive in this mortal body. His hearers already had that physical presence. He was referring to life at its very best which included a personal relationship with Him and a life in His Spirit.

Jesus Christ put on human nature for the attainment of man's salvation. Therefore, Jesus could say, “I am come that they might have life.” He came to live and die to become a sacrifice for the sins of all men and deliver us from sin's punishment. The punishment for sin is death. Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” By His death and resurrection, Jesus has introduced us to a life previously unavailable. Thereby bringing all who will believe into the realm of His Spirit to walk with Him in this life and live with Him in the life to come for eternity.

Why would you settle for less than the best your life could be? Jesus has made it possible for you to rise above a mere existence in this world to a Life in His Spirit. Though storms will come, He is there to calm the turmoil. Though you’ll need to make difficult choices, He is there to be your guide. Though the world is against you, He is for you and victory is guaranteed. Don’t settle for less! Philippians 4:7, “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Why Settle For Less? 

Jesus, The Gift That Keeps On Giving! by Myra Boozer

As I reflect upon Christmas past and our time with family, I am reminded of the faces of our sweet grandchildren. They come to Nana and Papa's house knowing that we will eat lunch first before the gifts are unwrapped. This isn't easy for little children to know there are gifts, boxes with paper and bows hiding those undiscovered treasures inside. I love the thoughts of those faces covered in smiles that turn to laughter as they receive their gifts from us. They appear so HAPPY and I have heard them say a few times, "Just what I wanted!"

The thought came to me, God didn't give us the "Gift of His Son" to make us HAPPY per se. Even though Psalms 16:11 says, "Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore." This is wonderful and we will understand more of this in Heaven one day. THERE IS SO MUCH MORE TO HIS GIFT! He gave His Son that we might not PERISH, to be cast into eternal torment. This life can offer some pleasure but it only lasts for a short season and it is gone. ETERNITY IS FOREVER AND EVER! THANK YOU GOD FOR THE GIFT OF YOUR SON, WHO BRINGS LIFE ETERNAL TO ALL WHO BELIEVE AND RECEIVE!

Are you finding great pleasure in the GIFT of God's SON? JESUS is the GIFT that keeps on GIVING? He gives healing in the midst of sickness...He gives joy in the presence of great sorrow...He gives comfort in the time of trouble...He gives peace in the time of turbulence... He brings hope when the last straw falls...He brings courage with the enemy is towering...He brings victory when the battle is overwhelming...He brings love when everyone walks away… He brings understanding to the chaos...He brings freedom to the prison cell...He brings redemption to the lost soul...He just keeps on giving and giving making your choice of receiving HIM so immeasurably priceless for all eternity! 

The Day Truth Came To Live Among Us!

Do You Hear What I Hear?

Said the little lamb to the shepherd boy.

Do you hear what I hear,

ringing through the sky, shepherd boy,

Do you hear what I hear,

a song, a song, high above the trees,

With a voice as big as the sea,

With a voice as big as the sea.

And so goes the lyrics of a classic version of a favorite Christmas carol. The inspired thought is that all creation heralds the birth of God's greatest gift to mankind. The little lamb in the stable depicts the lowly birth of the King. The glorious news would not be concealed in the humble stable but has become a universal message of hope. The Good News, first proclaimed by the glorious host of heaven, embraced by the common shepherd in the field, and spread abroad by them as they went, has become the message to all people. A song trumpeted “high above the trees” resounding to the throne of heaven, “with a voice as big as the sea.” The song goes forth with such a thunderous roar, “with a voice as big as the sea,” that all other songs cease to exist for His voice condemns them to silence.

This is the message of Christmas! It has echoed across history for over 2000 years. It is a message of celebration for the gift of God's only begotten Son, given for the salvation of man. We have been given an enormous, undeserved gift. Let us not spurn the grace of God by rejecting His mercy. That is the song the angels sang “The day that Truth came to live among us.”

May your Christmas be filled with reverent awe and hear His “voice as big as the sea!”

Thy Kingdom Come! by Myra Boozer

Mark 1:15 “...The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”

I would love to feed all the hungry...wrap my arms around the broken and mend them. I would love to wipe the tears from all the lonely and crushed...mend the bruised and battered, release those who are in bondage by the enemy...set the captives free...hold all the unwanted babies...care for all the elderly who are forsaken...heal every sickness and diseased person on the face of the earth...stop every evil and depraved thought that enters the mind of the youth...I would guard them from all evil. I would mend every marriage and bring every family into unity with God...strengthen every person who shares the Word of God and give them HOPE of many souls being saved, delivered, and set free. I would love to do all this! I am limited but JESUS is NOT! I can share JESUS and He can do this for all who will REPENT and BELIEVE!

I WOULD SHUT THE MOUTH OF THE LIONS THAT ARE TRYING TO DEVOUR ALL WHO ARE GOOD AND RIGHTEOUS...I WOULD STOP ALL THE LIES AND CORRUPTION OF THE EVIL AND EGOTISTIC WHO ARE HUNGRY FOR STATUS IN THIS WORLD...I WOULD BIND EVERY EVIL SPIRIT THAT RAISES ITS UGLY HEAD AGAINST HUMANITY...I WOULD SHUT DOWN ALL THE PLACES THAT OFFER ENTICEMENT TO THOSE WHO ARE WEAK AND UNSTABLE...I WOULD STOP MURDER, HATE, AND EVERY ABOMINATION...I WOULD STOP ALL FALSE TEACHINGS AND DOCTRINES OF DEVILS...I WOULD BRING ABOUT A NEW WORLD WHERE THE LAMB WILL LAY DOWN WITH THE LION...I AM LIMITED! BUT, JESUS IS NOT! JESUS WILL DO ALL THIS WHEN HE COMES RIDING ON HIS WHITE HORSE WITH FIRE IN HIS EYES, WEARING MANY CROWNS...HIS NAME IS CALLED THE WORD OF GOD...HE SHALL RULE WITH A ROD OF IRON. HE WILL PUT EVERYTHING IN ITS PROPER PLACE...We are getting closer and closer to that DAY! Lord Jesus, Thy Kingdom Come! 

Thy Will Be Done In Earth As In Heaven!

Matthew 6:10-13, “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven...thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever...”

The followers of Jesus expected Him to set up a literal ruling government at which time He would rule from the throne of David in Jerusalem. As we know, that has yet to happen! Christ pointed to a yet future time when that will actually take place and His will is accomplished in earth as in heaven.

Paul wrote to the Church at Corinth reminding them that “...the fashion of this world passeth away,” 1 Cor. 7:31. He was speaking concerning temporal attachments and being held captive by them. Though they are good in themselves we are not to be constrained by them. We need to be free from any and all encumbrances that would restrain us from hearing and being obedient to the voice of Christ. Let us always follow the Lord Jesus closely, not to be guilty of following afar off. Our conformity to Him will be our sustaining power when all else has failed. The outward form of this world and everything in it will pass away.

 Heb. 12:26, “...Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. 27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.” The words “Yet once more,” point to the final change which will initiate the removal of all that can pass away. The removal of created things that the things not shaken can remain...that is the Kingdom in us, not anything of material creation. It is to that end that Christ is preparing His Covenanted people for His return and when He will literally establish His Kingdom in the earth. Thy Will Be Done In Earth As In Heaven! (continued) 

Do You Hear What I Hear? by Myra Boozer

This is love and the Greatest Gift ever given...That God would send His only begotten Son to earth to live and die for all our sins...That we too can live in His Kingdom and Reign with Him forevermore…Our Messiah, the Lord of Lords, JESUS CHRIST.

Open the ears of Your children Lord all over the world. Let us hear the sound of Your Coming! May our hearts overflow with a reverent fear of who You are, for You are HOLY. Just a few more days and we will celebrate Your birth all over the world. What a glorious celebration will be had by a people who open their hearts and minds to Your wondrous gift and receive JESUS CHRIST.

"Said the little lamb to the shepherd boy, do you hear what I hear? Ringing through the sky, shepherd boy. Do you hear what I hear? A song, a song high above the trees with a voice as big as the sea, with a VOICE as big as the sea."

Not everyone hears the same thing today. Some hear hope in the politician's voice promising change while others hear fear and defeat. I, like the little lamb, ask the same question to you today, "Do you hear what I hear...a song, a song high above the trees.” And it goes like this, "For the LORD himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the VOICE of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the LORD in the air: and so shall we ever be with the LORD. Wherefore comfort one another," I Thessalonians 4:16-18. Lord, your arrival may be as soon as CHRISTMAS. Do You Hear What I Hear? 

Come, Let Us Adore Him!

Adore – to regard with loving admiration and devotion, to worship or honor as divine.

Luke 2:15, “And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us. 16And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. 17And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. 18And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. 19But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. 20And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.”

How can we not adore the person of Jesus Christ? If we believe what God’s Word teaches us of His birth, life, and sacrifice, we must be captured by loving admiration and devotion for Him. If we have experienced a life-changing encounter with His redemptive grace, we are compelled to worship and honor Him as God’s Divine gift to all of mankind.

How can we not adore Him? The Son of God, Jesus committed Himself to the purpose of salvation for all who would believe and receive His gift of redemption. He chose to leave His throne in heaven, be born in the form of human flesh, live and die for the cause of man’s redemption, and be raised from the dead, victorious over death, hell, and the grave. In so doing, He established the precedent for all believers who die in the faith of His sacrifice, that they too are victorious over death and have the promise of eternal life with Him.

How can we not adore Him? Jesus, who through His selfless commitment to our redemption and personal welfare, has become our intimate companion and friend who is closer than the bond of blood kinship. Come let us adore Him especially at this time of the celebration of His birth but also every succeeding moment of the rest of our lives and through the eternal ages as we reign with Him forever! Come, Let Us Adore Him! 

The Hour Is Late! by Myra Boozer

Acts 2:17, "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams."

In the last days, God said He will speak through visions and dreams. We need to be so full of His Spirit that He can speak to us any way He chooses to speak and know it is Him. This is where Christians need to be able to discern between good and evil.

Satan can also speak to you, usually through people, through different cults, and cultures, and through your own fleshly desires. God is warning us to Pray by His Word and His people. He is asking us to submit, surrender, and hear what He has to say to us in this late hour. It is imperative that we know His voice.

Are people listening? It does not appear that all are! Just like the days of Noah, they went on their merry way. And just like America is doing, fussing and arguing over what is good and what is evil. These things should be settled. I would never have thought that our country would accept and promote the evil it has under the umbrella of tolerance. These things are a great distraction to what God is calling America to do...REPENT!

When will people wake up? Our hope is in the Lord! But people, many of them Christians, still trust in the arm of flesh (human understanding) to fix our world. Many think if the right political party is in control, all will be well. That is not so, even though there is a great difference between the Right and the Left. It is very clear how far from God this country has fallen.

God wants us to be filled with His Spirit and listening to His voice, obeying His commands. There will be a rude awakening one day and I feel it will be sooner than we can imagine. We must turn from the sin that so easily besets us and be covered by the Spirit and Power of His Might. God Alone Is Our Hope! Only as we are tuned in to His voice can we hear what He is saying in this late hour. Yes, The Hour Is Late! 

Make Room For Jesus!

Luke 2:7, “And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.”

Today, we stand at the door of a grand endeavor. That is to prepare for the appearance of the Son of God, the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ. Our challenge is to prepare for His return and be united with the bridegroom.

The external forces in our world are pressing in upon the boundaries of holiness and righteousness so firmly established in God's Holy Word. The ideals of a carnal theology have infiltrated the pulpit and diluted the faith once delivered to the saints. But the Holy Spirit is the sustaining force within. He will lead and guide us into the Truth of His Word.

Many voices are claiming to speak for God. Although God uses human vessels to share His message, we must know God in an intimate and personal kinship so He can speak directly to us. The Holy Spirit and the Word will teach us the Truth. The Holy Ghost will help us to understand the events we are seeing take place in our world today. When we read God's warnings in His Word and see the events around us aligning with the Word, we must conclude that we are living in the End Times.

Are we really expecting Jesus, our Messiah to return to deliver us? The world was not expecting Him when He came the first time and they missed His gift of Salvation. Don’t let that happen to you! Make Room For Jesus!

Heb. 9:28, "...unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation."
