Are You Drifting? by Myra Boozer

Have you noticed how we drift into different ways of living? For example, some people just take life so slow and easy and don't really want to go anywhere, happy where they are. While others are always in the fast lane with places to go and people to see. They are so busy having fun and accommodating their latest find of food or entertainment, they almost live in a whirlwind.

D. A. Carson said, "People DO NOT DRIFT toward holiness...Apart from grace-driven effort, people DO NOT gravitate toward godliness, prayer, obedience to Scripture, faith, and delight in the Lord...We drift toward compromise and call it tolerance: We drift toward disobedience and call it freedom: We drift toward superstition and call it Faith. We cherish the indiscipline of lost self-control and call it relaxation. We slouch toward prayerlessness and delude ourselves into thinking we have escaped legalism. We slide toward godlessness and convince ourselves we have been liberated..."

Age makes a difference in our pursuit of life and what it offers, but I believe we have drifted so far that many don't know how to find God. Start where you are and surrender ALL to Him. Then, we must pursue HIM until He catches us, captivates and changes us into His image... no longer trapped by the worldly attractions and sounds...no longer drifting on the sea of time... But looking unto our Blessed Hope, who is coming to rescue us from this world and its alluring, deceptive ways. Are You Drifting?

(A ship that loses its propulsion capability flounders helplessly and is at the mercy of the winds and waves. Without the spiritual dynamic of Holy Ghost power, we will flounder helplessly at the mercy of the winds and waves of life.)

Sustained Through Your Revelation On Jesus Christ! Part 4 Conclusion

(for part 3 see 2/20/26 )

Acts 27:33, “...Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing. 34Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you...36Then were they all of good cheer, and they also took some meat. 37And we were in all in the ship two hundred threescore and sixteen souls. 38And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, and cast out the wheat into the sea.” The fast was concluded. They could take comfort in the fact that all would be saved, and they were all (276) of good cheer. They continued in Faith and Obedience, throwing everything overboard to lighten the ship. They had done what they knew to do. Now was the time to allow the God Factor to bring an end to their storm. They took up the anchors and committed to the sea. Completely free of all encumbrances, completely sustained by the wind of God.

Acts 27:41, “And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmoveable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves...43 the centurion...commanded that they which could swim should cast themselves first into the sea, and get to land: 44And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.” God's process will run its course, and in the end, His purpose is secured. How many times in our own lives have we survived on the broken pieces of our ship? The storms have been strong and the struggle bitter, but we have stayed with God, and our end is secured!

The sustaining factor in Paul's life was his relationship with Christ and the fact that he walked in revelation and inspiration. Having an intellectual understanding of scripture can be an advantage. Passion and zeal have their place in the Gospel. And even our incomplete understanding of God's plan is a beginning that we can build upon. But the bottom line is that we must walk in the revelation of Jesus Christ if we are to experience His perfect plan for our lives. Just as Paul had his intimate encounter with Jesus, we must do the same! That is what sustained Paul, and that is what will sustain us. Sustained Through Your Revelation Of Jesus Christ!

What Is Most Important To You? by Myra Boozer

What is most important to you?

It's not important what kind of house you live in or the kind of car you drive...

It's not important to me if you have a Master's degree or any formal education...

It's not important to me what kind of coffee you drink or the kind of soda you prefer...

It's not important to me if you support Alabama Football or never watch a game...

It's not important to me if you are a member of the largest Church...or the smallest...

It's not important to me if you can quote the whole Bible or if you've never learned a verse...

It's just not important to me...

WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO ME IS THIS...

DO YOU HAVE A VITAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST AND KNOW HE IS COMING SOON…?

That is going to be ABSOLUTELY THE MOST IMPORTANT in the days just ahead...

Sustained Through Your Revelation Of Jesus Christ! Part 3

(for part 2 see 2/19/26)

Acts 27:21, “But after long abstinence, Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss. 22And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship. 23For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, 24Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee. 25Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me. 26Howbeit we must be cast upon a certain island.” Revelation from God ensures survival, but there is still a requirement for individual participation. Three important elements of the God Factor come into play: Repentance, Faith, and Obedience.

Paul reminded his shipmates that they should have listened to him, because it was not only Paul who had discouraged this voyage. It was God through Paul! How many times has God tried to warn us along our journey, only for us to discount the messenger who delivered the warning? But God always has the last word. We determine our outcome by our obedience or lack thereof! So, the first thing these sailors had to deal with was their decision to sail, admit that it was a mistake, and be willing to change directions and follow Christ. The Bible calls this concept, Repentance. Second, they had to believe what Paul was telling them. This was the beginning of their Faith which would sustain them in the coming days.

Acts 27:27, “But when the fourteenth night was come, as we were driven up and down...29Then fearing lest we should have fallen upon rocks, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day. 30And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship, 31Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved. 32Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off.” The third element of the God Factor was that they must stay in the ship, continuing to exhibit faith in the revelation and Obedience to the man of God. God's plan of deliverance included the debris of the broken vessel, the vessel that had sustained them thus far. But they had to be willing to stay with the ship until she literally broke apart on the rocks. Those broken pieces became their salvation. When our circumstances are falling apart, we must stay true and obedient to God’s command in order to be saved. (continued).

Where Are You? by Myra Boozer

Many times during the day, when our grandson was little and here, we would hear these words, “Where are you, Papa?” Or, “Where are you, Nana?” This is an important question for a young child. When this question was asked, we didn't hesitate. We would respond quickly!

I want to ask you that question today. Where are you? You may say I am at home, or I am on the job. Maybe you are in school or in the Military. You could even be on vacation, seeing the many beautiful sights in our world. This is what we think of when the question is asked. We respond to where we are physically.

In Genesis 3, God asked Adam that question, "And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?" This is the response that Adam gave, "And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?" The answer Adam gave has stuck with us down through the ages. "And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, SHE gave me of the tree, and I did eat." It is the transfer of accountability to someone other than ourselves. We have a very hard time accepting responsibility for our actions. So, we blame someone else for where we actually are in our lives.

I truly understand disappointment, heartbreak, broken homes, verbal abuse, lack of security, and unworthy condemnation. But with all of that, we are still responsible for our reaction to life and all it brings. We alone are responsible for the choices we make. Adam could have answered, “NO” to Eve. He could have reminded her of the command that God gave them about not eating of that one tree. Only one tree was forbidden. Of course, in the next verse, God asked Eve, "What is this thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I DID eat."

I do not read anymore of God communing with Adam and Eve in the cool of the day. However, I did read where "...God sent them forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken, So he drove out the man," Genesis chapter 3. There are definitely consequences to all our decisions! (continued)

Sustained Through Your Revelation Of Jesus Christ! Part 2

(for part 1 see 2/18/26)

Paul stated that his intention was to press toward the mark. Phil. 3:14, “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. 16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.” Paul knew from his experience that Christian growth is a daily challenge. He must have looked back many times to his Damascus road encounter with Jesus. That day, Paul received a revelation of who Jesus really was. He came face-to-face with the Son of God, the Redeemer of Israel, his Messiah, and he knew it in the depths of his soul. That encounter was, no doubt, an indispensable strength to him as he ministered for Christ. And the Lord continued to speak to him and reveal His truth.

In Acts 27, Paul had requested an audience with Caesar. He was in the custody of a Roman centurion and on his way to Rome. Acts 27:10, “And said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives. 11 Nevertheless the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship, more than those things which were spoken by Paul. 12 And because the haven was not commodious to winter in, the more part advised to depart thence also, if by any means they might attain to Phenice, and there to winter.” Paul had a revelation regarding this journey, but the centurion chose to listen to the captain rather than Paul. Why? Because it was not convenient to winter there, they wanted to proceed to Crete. Circumstances inspired them to continue on their journey rather than give heed to the revelation by the man of God. Inspiration driven by circumstance comes from our own personal desire and intellect, and usually does not end well.

Acts 27:13, “And when the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained their purpose, loosing thence, they sailed close by Crete.” This again speaks to circumstance. A temporary change in circumstance can lull us into Satan's plan...v14, “But not long after there arose against it a tempestuous wind...18 And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next day they lightened the ship; 19 And the third day we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship. 20 And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then taken away.” Three days and nights in the storm, and now all is lost. There is no hope except for God! They were not including the God Factor. They drew these conclusions based on their knowledge and the circumstances. Often, our knowledge is insufficient to draw the appropriate conclusion from our circumstances. Then we must go to God for revelation knowledge to chart the appropriate course. (continued).

Lord, Write Your Words Upon My Heart! by Myra Boozer

Lord, write Your Words upon my heart today. As I sit under Your wonderful, baby blue sky, I hear many sounds, but the most prominent are the birds singing their songs of praise to You. The sun is shining through the pines, and the smell is so refreshing, pure, and clean. I feel a slight yet gentle breeze blowing upon this fleshly body. My own heart's beginning to sing of Your great splendor as I delight myself in Your peaceful beauty and rest.

The beauty of your handiwork is so enormous! To think that You would create such a place for mankind to live, to love, and enjoy is amazing to me. I feel so honored to have been allowed to experience life, enjoy family, and to know you as my Lord and Savior.

How can anyone not believe in You? How can they see the beauty and the mystery of life and not know there is a much higher power, and that power is You. You are the Lord God Almighty! You express yourself in all I see, in all I experience, and all I plan to experience in the days ahead.

I cannot find words to express my feelings about Your exceedingly great mercy for mankind. I am many times overtaken with grief for this beautiful world and the souls that don't seem to discern Your Coming and the culmination of all things. How can they not see, how can they not believe, how can they continue to resist Your tugging on their hearts? They only need to think rationally for a few moments to understand Your love, Your power, and Your plan for mankind.

Your love is superior to any love known to man. It cannot be duplicated or cloned by mortals. It flows from Your Holy Throne, pure and undefiled. There is no one like You. Your power is beyond all our imagination. No one is capable of keeping the oceans in place, hanging the stars out to shine just at the right time, send the rain, or make a rainbow. You are perfect in all of Your ways, and Your Kingdom is never-ending!

Sustained Through Your Revelation Of Jesus Christ!

Ephesians 2:19, “Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.”

We must build our faith, our system of belief, upon the revelation of Jesus Christ. “And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.” What we believe must be supported by the Word of God as taught and modeled by Jesus. He is our secure and eternal foundation. He is the only source of survival in this spiritual war.

There is a delicate balance in pursuing God into His revelation and pursuing our own inspiration. The determining factor is the Holy Spirit's anointing. God will anoint His revelation and Holy Spirit-inspired insight, but He will not anoint inspiration born of our human intellect. His anointing signifies recognition and approval. We must secure the anointing of God upon our message. If not, our message is not God's message. The goal for all should be to be one with Christ in desire, purpose, and message.

There is much to be said about the influence of our religious heritage. However, I don't want to be stuck (consumed) in religious tradition, but neither do I want to lose the spiritual virtue of past generations. It is important to understand that all of us are continuing to evolve into the people that God desires that we become. And just as important, that we understand that the Bride of Christ continues to evolve. Eph. 5:25, “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” Paul says that Christ loves the Church and gave Himself for it that the process of making her ready might be accomplished by the washing of the Word. God's plan for the Body is set in stone, i.e., in the Word. It will not change, but we, the frail human characters that we are, must find His perfect plan for us.

In our search for God's perfect plan, we must remain flexible (fluid, pliable). A healthy tree can remain strong in the storm, but if there is disease and rot, the storm will expose that weakness. The storms are coming, and only the spiritual virtue of our heritage in Christ can sustain us. Any other foundation will crumble and fall under the storm's pressure. If we walk in obedience to God, we have an appointed end as described by Jeremiah. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end,” Jer. 29:11. We can know our outcome if we put our faith in Jesus. (continued)

Seek The Lord While He Can Be Found! by Myra Boozer

1 Peter 5:8, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”

Satan, the prince of this world, has a plan! He is seeking after all those whom he can destroy. He is working and controlling every person who will listen to him. But God has given a window to the Child of God, an opportunity to PRAY, a time to sound the alarm before GOD releases judgment on Satan and all those who have obeyed the voice of the evil one. God is giving us time to warn people, a time to pray and seek Him, a time to come close to Him and gain strength for the days ahead.

Don't become so busy with plans and programs that you forget the DAY we are living in. Know that after we pray, we will still be living in the scheme (an orderly combination of things on a definite plan) for the last days. We can't change the times and seasons that God has ordained, but we can be filled with strength and hope and know that King Jesus will have the final say in this battle.

The days of Judgment are coming, and only those held in Jesus’ hands will be overcomers. Death has no sting for the child of God. Death is not the end but the door to Eternal Life through Jesus Christ. Seek Him while He may be found!

Let him that has ears to hear, HEAR! Why? "Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof; I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated KNOWLEDGE, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore, they shall eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil," Proverbs 1: 24-33. Seek the Lord while He can be found!

Pray Like Daniel Prayed!

The prophet Daniel was not so different from you and me. He lived in a time of displacement and captivity for his people. He struggled to remain at peace with his captors and remain true to the Lord God Jehovah. But when he was forced to choose, he always chose God.

When Daniel knew that the decree had been signed forbidding anyone to pray to any god other than King Darius, Daniel made an open show of his allegiance to God (Daniel 6:10). Daniel prayed as before! His prayer life was the foundation for his existence, both present and future. When the enemy tested his love and loyalty to God, Daniel continued doing what he did every day. The die was cast and the pattern established. Therefore, Daniel held to his faith in God, and God delivered him.

The substance of our life in Christ must be established before the storm comes. We must know that the foundation of our life is built upon Jesus Christ, and all other ground is sinking sand. Therefore, when the trials of life test us, we continue doing what we have always done. We pray and trust God, as we always have, and God will deliver us once again!

Lord Jesus, help us to pray like Daniel prayed. Help us to trust like Daniel trusted. Help us to be delivered like Daniel was delivered. Thank you Lord for the power of your promises. Direct our steps to walk in your word and experience the power of your promises. Order our steps that we may walk in your perfect peace. In Jesus' name! Amen

Grace For Grace! by Myra Boozer

John 1:16-17, "And of His fullness have all we received, and grace for grace, For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ."

Thank you, God, for sending your Son, Jesus. Thank you...things have changed. We no longer struggle to conform to the law. Because of Jesus, we have been covered by Grace, and He has written His laws in our hearts that we might not sin against HIM. Lord God, your ways and your truths are so strong and mighty and worth seeking.

My mind and my heart have a hard time understanding your willingness to send your Son to die for us. I am humbled when I think of Jesus' willingness to suffer such humiliation, shame, and torture that resulted in death on the old rugged cross. Not for one, but for all who would kneel at that cross in repentance of their sins.

Every day, I can come to your Banquet of Grace. Love, Forgiveness, and Healing are all provided and so much more. When I come humbly before you, I receive all your provisions. It is only through my Faith in You that I eat from the TABLE you have so graciously set before me. Lord, I pray for greater Faith and a stronger desire to push through every distraction that keeps me from your table.

Thank you for this "grace upon grace." It flows down from the Father of Light. It is shining in the darkness, but many are not willingly or accepting. They are not comprehending it. "He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth NOT is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. For this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men LOVED darkness rather than light, because their deeds were EVIL." John 3:18-19

The Word says in John 3:15, "That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have Everlasting Life." So glad that "whosoever" included me! Grace For Grace!

God Loves You!

John 3:14, “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”

Our frail human mind is incapable of fully comprehending the magnitude of God’s love for us. How can someone whom we have not known previously be willing to sacrifice His only Son for our benefit? Romans 5:6, “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.”

When we did not realize how wretched, vile, reprobate, and lost we were, God had planned for our total and complete deliverance! Through the precious blood offering of His Son, Jesus, the pure and spotless Lamb of God, the penalty for sin was paid. When barely for a righteous man and possibly for a good man, some would dare to die, God loved us when we were still sinners. Christ died for us, and we are justified by His blood. We are saved from the wrath of God as we look to the cross and believe. When the sin in us made us enemies of God, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son. We have now received life through the atonement of Christ Jesus for our sin. He died and rose again to provide our deliverance, to free us from the curse of sin and sin’s punishment.

God’s desire is for all men everywhere to be saved. 1 Timothy 2:4, “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all...” God has prepared the way through the gift of His only Son. The penalty for sin has been paid. All one needs to do is repent of his sins and accept the Lordship of Christ in his life. God Loves You!

If you are tired of what sin has done to your life and want to be FREE from the curse of sin and sin’s punishment, Pray this prayer with me! “Lord Jesus Christ, Thank You for paying the penalty for my sin. I believe You gave Your life to ransom my life. I believe You died on the cross, but You rose victorious over death, hell, and the grave on the third day just as You had promised. I’m tired of my life of sin. From this moment forward, I give my life to You. You paid the ransom for my sin. I belong to You. Use me now for Your honor and glory, and give me an eternal home with You in heaven. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for Loving me! Amen!”

Where Love Grows! by Myra Boozer

Love is such a delight...It flows from Heaven and spills over into our everyday lives like honey running down our hands. We hustle to capture and savor every last drop. But when the evening comes to an end...and the sun begins to go down behind the trees...and all that is seen is the closing of another day...my heart begins to recall the sweetness in the gentle laughter and the tender smile of a little lad...who has held our hearts and made us smile, giggle, and laugh out loud. His innocent little face, with those big blue eyes and locks of curly blond hair...how they run through my mind. They are like strands of gold upon a deep blue ocean. They are priceless and seem to never end. He calls out in fun to play, and we must not delay...for he calls us to come into his world where there is no list of chores or duties to perform...He calls us loud and strong, and we must surrender for that is where love grows and overflows, and we hustle to capture and savor every moment…

Psalm 127:3, “Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.”

Celebrate The Treasure Of Children!

Matt. 18:2, “And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, 3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. 4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”

There is something so very priceless about being in the company of children. They are such precious creations. Often, as I look into the faces of my jewels, the blessings God has given to me, my gifts straight from heaven, my grandchildren, I see in them the reflection of the face of God. Many times, I have met them just outside my front door as they came running up my walkway. Their faces were all aglow with joy, and so happy to come to our house. With sweet smiles upon their faces and arms spread wide, they run into the arms of their anxiously awaiting grandfather.

Such an exchange of love and embrace is hard to describe in ordinary words. It makes one's heart melt before God and all creation just to think that such a relationship can even exist. And you know in your heart this is not just a human experience. You realize that the connection reaches deep down to the very soul. It reaches into that part of us which is unique to the human being. There is no other facet of creation that can experience such a relationship. And God breathed the breath of life into the first human being, and he became a living soul. I am overwhelmed with thanksgiving that He has created such a wonder. Thank you, Lord, for including us in such an awesome plan. Celebrate The Treasure Of Children!

No Bucket Needed! Conclusion by Myra Boozer

(for part 1 see 2/13/26)

Then, the second scripture is John 11:4; go back to verse 3. The sisters said, “Lord behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.” When Jesus heard this, he said, "THIS SICKNESS IS NOT UNTO DEATH, BUT FOR THE GLORY OF GOD, THAT THE SON OF GOD MIGHT BE GLORIFIED THEREBY."

It doesn’t matter where we are in our journey, sick, dying, or in Lazarus case, dead! Jesus is the same! He is the LIFE! There is no problem too big, too difficult, too unreachable for Him. HE is the source of ALL we need. He doesn't have to use anything or anybody to perform what we need. Though he has and does use people to help us at different times, He doesn't have to! HE IS THE GREAT I AM...

Whatever you're going through today or whatever your heart is trying to conceive from the Lord, KNOW that his arm is not too short that He can't reach you and fix whatever is wrong in your life! Whether it is for you or someone you love...No Bucket Needed!

Our Hope Is Secure In Jesus Christ!

1Cor. 15:57-58, “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

The natural man within us is governed by conditions and circumstances. If we look only at what we see with our physical sight, our future is looking rather bleak. The dark days around us can become very distressing, discouraging, and hopeless. However, our life in Jesus Christ is not governed by our natural man. We can rise above every circumstance and condition by the Holy Spirit of God, which inhabits this mortal body. We are not dominated by what we see or what we perceive to be taking place around us. “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me...” Psalm 23:4. He will go with me all the way. He will ensure that I finish my mission according to His plan if I put my faith and trust in Him. I will fear no evil because He goes with me and leads me in the way I should go.

Thanks be to God who gives us the victory because He reigns Sovereign over all Creation. There has no trial been given to man that the power of His Love and Grace cannot vanquish. We stand in the power of His Love. His Love for all mankind set Him on the cross. His Love for us brought Him forth from the grave and raised Him Victorious over death and hell. By His Grace, He extends to us the gift of His Resurrection. Believe on Him, accept His promise, and receive eternal live. Our Hope Is Secure In Jesus Christ!

No Bucket Needed! by Myra Boozer

Early one morning, I vaguely remember hearing a scripture go over in my mind. I didn't get up and read it, but this was the scripture that came to me: John 4:11. Then I questioned whether it was John 4:11 or John 11:4. Over breakfast, I shared with my husband both scriptures and that I really didn't know which scripture it was. He said, “Wow, they are so connected.” I agreed and accepted them both as nuggets of gold, not giving one more value than the other, but thinking of them as going hand in hand.

I saw myself in the first scripture as the woman at the well. She said, “Sir, (speaking in the carnal) thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep.” In other words, how are you going to do this? This sounds impossible, and this well is deeper, further, and harder to reach than what you are thinking. Lord, I don't see how you're going to do this.

This is where we are so many times in our thinking and in our praying! HOW IN THE WORLD WILL THIS COME TO BE? We are thinking in the flesh, not Spiritually minded, not thinking that He needs nothing... No help... No assistance... No bucket to draw with because He IS THE LIVING WATER. He is ALL we need! (continued)

Don't Focus On The Circumstances!

John 4:3, “He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee. 4 And he must needs go through Samaria. 5 Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. 6 Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.”

“He must needs go through Samaria.” Why did Jesus need to go through Samaria? He had a message for that city! It began with the woman at the well of Jacob and spread all over the city. When the word spread about the woman’s encounter with Jesus, many came to see for themselves. Her invitation was, John 4:29, “Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? 30 Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.” Many more believed at the testimony of Jesus. John 4:42, “...Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.”

Don't focus on your circumstances! They can be misleading! Look for the opportunity Jesus is giving you in your circumstance to minister and be a blessing to others. With every test we face, the Lord gives us a way out, and that usually involves other people. Maybe God wants to help others by helping you. Are we willing to be the vessel a proclaim, "Come see a man" who answered my prayer and delivered me from my circumstance!

Oh, how we need Christ Jesus to be manifest in our lives and in our churches. Having heard of this woman’s encounter and subsequent revelation, the people of Samaria came to see for themselves. Their desire was to see this Jesus who had told her all things. We are meeting people daily, and our churches are filled week after week with people who are searching for the answers to the needs in their lives. They need Jesus! They need to see Jesus in us and to see Him manifest in the everyday activity we are a part of!

Change My Heart, Oh God! by Myra Boozer

I love this song..."Change my Heart oh God, make it ever new. Change my heart oh God, make it more like you." It is also a great prayer. Isn't His Grace Amazing? To think that He would forgive all our sins and cast them far, far away in a sea to never be remembered. Just makes me cry when I think how my mother taught me many years ago about the love of Jesus. This love also takes away our chains, the things that seem to hold us captive and make us a prisoner. His love says NO MORE BONDAGE! His love is unending and still so amazing after all these years. I trust Him to take me on the rest of my days, however long they may be.

My mother also taught me how to cook, sew, clean house, take care of babies, and much more. However the best things she ever taught me was that Jesus loves me and died on the cross for my sins. She taught me to love others as myself, to be forgiving, and to pray about everything. She taught me by example, which is the most profitable way to teach.

I must share this news with you today. Jesus loves YOU and died for YOU. You too can be set free from all the struggle, from all the guilt and shame, the chains that bind, the things that pull you down and make your life miserable. They can vanish in a moments time, when you humble yourself and allow God to raise you up in His Holiness because He is Holy, Righteous, and Pure.

He wants to hold you in His great big arms today and make everything new. JESUS LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU COULD EVER KNOW. Put your trust in Him. He is your deliverer and He will fight your battles. You don't have to struggle any longer or carry the guilt of sin. Just surrender to the one who created you, loves you and died for you. He wants to give you life everlasting and peace for the journey until that Day. His love is so Amazing, so rich and free. He is so full of compassion and great mercy. When all around you is crumbling and falling away, Jesus will not fail you. He is your steady ROCK, your firm FOUNDATION and Soon Coming King!

Jesus' Love Pulls Back The Veil That Separates Us From God!

I began this day as I do every day in the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ. I see that His love abounds everywhere, even in the areas of our world that appear to be dominated by sin. But, Jesus’ love is there! A love which transcends all obstacles, penetrates into the most remote and isolated crevices of life. Every area of human existence is held in the shelter of His hand.

Your need and my need are laid bare before Him. He knows where we are, what we feel, and what we dream. He sees each despairing thought and feels the anguish that we feel. He identifies with every human experience and emotion that has and will touch our lives. He left His throne in glory, took upon Himself the form of human flesh, so He can tell you today, “I have been where you are, and I feel what you feel.” He experienced the human condition in the fullest sense yet without sin. Heb. 4:15, “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”

He is saying to the whole human race, “I understand. I have made a way out. Believe on me as the scripture has said and be free.” You may feel trapped in a place you don't want to be. Give it all to Jesus! He has made a way of escape for you. Trust Him! He knows the way. He is the WAY! Romans 10:13, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Look to Him and live!

Bid Me Come, Lord! by Myra Boozer

Lord, seeing you, having my focus on you doesn't always make the circumstances disappear. But my focus and faith rise to a different level. There, I can regain my knowledge of who you actually are and realize how you have every detail in your Book. You know the end from the beginning. You are in control of all that is going on in this world today.

You, Lord, are greater than my mind can conceive. I only get a glimpse of your greatness when I turn my eyes toward you. When Peter walked upon the waters, the winds and waves didn't cease for his delightful experience. They continued to roar! However, He was not looking at them! His focus was upon the one who called him to "come." He rose above them, but they were still there.

We must not be overtaken by the circumstances around us, and yes, they seem to be quite out of hand. We wonder what will happen tomorrow? We may question the stability of everything we have ever trusted in. But, just like Peter, we can say, Lord, bid me to come to you. Call me, Lord! Lift me up out of this ship of confusion that is no longer my refuge. I trust you to be my safe haven.

Lord, help my focus to be on you, not on the things that are crumbling under my feet. Help me, Lord, to step out in faith and realize that you are all I need. You are my hope, my everlasting consolation.

You are calling all who are heavy-laden to come unto you! One day you will, "with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God," call us to come up to where you are to be with you forever. That is the call we long to hear. Bid Me Come, Lord!

Let It Start In Me!

“There is a change coming. Let it start in me.” The lines have been drawn. God will bring His plan to completion. Satan will fight against God and all who identify with His holiness. The wind of God’s Holy Spirit is effectuating the change necessary in the heart of every believer to make us ready for the finale. Change is coming! Are you willing to be changed?

“Father God, I pray for the Body of Christ, all of us! Help us to hear what You are saying to the Church. Create within us a renewed desire to walk in intimacy with You. Bring us so close that the wind of Your Spirit cannot pass between us except we are aware of what You are doing in the Body.

Father, we must have Your direction and instruction. Push back the darkness that clouds our minds and thoughts and prevents us from walking fully in Your light. Burn away the fog of deception with the fire of Your Holy Spirit in our presence. Lead us forward into Your Divine plan for each of us and collectively as the Body of Christ. Shine Your Light upon our path that we can see clearly the way You have chosen for us.

Help us each one to find our place and serve with renewed passion. Create that passion in us as we submit to the direction of the Holy Spirit. Empower us to share Your message in the anointing of Your Spirit. Break the chains that prevent us from seeing total victory. Create within us an insatiable hunger for renewal and spiritual awakening.

Father God, send Your Holy Ghost fire among us. Baptize us afresh in Your Pentecostal power. Father breathe upon us once again. Breathe Your life into this breathless, hopeless mortal body. Quicken us with Your Life-giving Spirit. Cause cloven tongues of fire to rest upon us yet once more. Thank you, Jesus! Stir the burning embers of our past experience that they may break into a full blaze of present revival fire. Send Your fire Lord and prepare us to receive Him when He comes! In Jesus Name, Amen.”

What Are We Doing With What We Know About God? by Myra Boozer

Ezekiel 33:11, “Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die...”

What are we doing with what we know about God? There comes a time when all of us need to allow the Holy Spirit in us to reveal to others what we know about the Lord...even more deeply than what we have done in the past. I believe we have reached that day. Some will stand and preach, sing, and testify of the love of God and what He means to them in simple terms. But what I am writing about today goes much deeper than that. I am talking about what God himself has revealed to you personally. What has He showed you? Or what is He speaking to your heart? Somethings are very personal, but others are Truths that need to be opened to the light for all to see!

Some people run from any enlightenment that God has given outside the Bible. But, I believe that God is the God of TRUTH, and what He reveals will always align with what He has already established. He will not go against Himself. Why would He? He knows everything. He knows the past and the future. So, He would only reveal Himself as Truth.

These are some things that I know about God. He is the One and Only true God, who gave His One and Only Son to bring man back to himself. Sin came into the world through Adam's disobedience, but through the sacrifice and death of His Son, Jesus, God has created the way for man to return to Him. He is a Holy and righteous God who does no sin and will not tolerate sin. Why would He give His son to die for something that He would condone?

I know that he truly loves mankind because of His sacrifice. I know He is sending His Son to take the righteous people from this earth before he allows sinful man to dive off the edge to total darkness...and bring about the wrath that has been saved up for generations because of evil doers. I know that He desires that none perish, but He will allow people free choice.

This is only the beginning, and I hope to share with you more of what God has shared with me. I hope this inspires you to share what God means to you and is revealing to you TODAY. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH WHAT YOU KNOW ABOUT GOD?” Don't hide it under a bushel or bury it in the ground. SHOUT IT FROM THE ROOF TOP! Let the world know the truths He is putting into your spirit. Share Truth with your world because He is Coming Soon!

Take A Stand For Truth And Justice?

Will we as a people take a stand for truth and justice? We face a difficult time ahead as political leaders jockey for position, power, and influence. For the most part, it is all just a lot of noise like a sporting event. Each side supports and vehemently defends their team and believes it doesn't matter about the process, so long as our team wins. But it really does matter how we play the game. The game builds character and integrity, which embrace truth, justice, and judgment. If the process fails to yield these attributes, how can we expect a government to lead in truth and justice? It is not what we say but what we do that defines us as a person, as a church, and as a nation. God help us! Take A Stand For Truth And Justice?

Time To Look Up! by Myra Boozer

Just thinking about how Satan works to paint a picture of horrible, no-win situations in the lives of those who may be going through a dry valley. A place where you are thirsty for a drink of spiritual waters, a place where you seem to be all alone and no one seems to have time to give you an encouraging word...a time when the wall just won't come down and the Lord seems to withhold the ladder for you to climb over and then with everything else it's time to pay those bills and the money is low...the tears seem to flow and the heart breaks. But, you will find that the Lord is standing in front of you holding out His hands to you...wanting to lift you from the valley and sit you on the mountain of Hope where the sun is shinning and the birds are singing the song of deliverance.

It is up to you, after you pour out your heart and rid yourself of all the doubt and the fear, reach up to the One who can change that picture and give you the best drink of water you have ever had. Tear down those walls and open those doors that have been closed. This is for you if you are looking down instead of looking up. God loves you...Love Him back and watch things begin to change. Time To Look Up!

The Message Is Jesus Christ!

There are many issues in our world that could warrant our participation to alleviate the suffering all around us. Our world is in full blown crisis and needs an intervention. We need the intervention of the Lord Jesus Christ. We will never be able to do enough to address all the needs, but Jesus can and will heal the hurt of all mankind if we will allow Him. What does He require? A repentant heart and a submissive life. Jesus Christ would have us give our all to Him so that He can draw all men to the cross. John 12:31, “Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. 32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.” Our message must be centered on Jesus Christ!

Christ-centered ministry is built upon the foundation of selflessness. Jesus’ example was that of total selfless demeanor in word and deed. His concern was for the wholeness of the human race rather than His own comfort and gratification. Consequently, our future is predicated upon the delivery of the Gospel message, the message of salvation through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross for the sins of all mankind. The Gospel is the solution for the present human condition. The Gospel is what the world needs to hear. Any other message is of little effect. What the world needs now is to experience the love of God in Christ. Only the blood of Jesus can deliver from the chains of sin and death. We must approach this divine mandate in total surrender, asking God the question, “What would you have me do?” Self must die if we are to answer Him honestly. Allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you. Give Him your plan and allow Him to include you in His.

Lord, Deliver Us From Evil! by Myra Boozer

Dear Lord, I ask that YOU help all Christians to stand strong against the evil in our world. Help us to not be shaken by what is coming and already here. We desire that nothing hinder us as we seek YOU.

May we trust YOU in these evil days. We desire to stand in the power of YOUR might against the enemy of our souls and the souls of our families. Lord, may we receive wisdom to know how to share YOUR Gospel Message effectively.

Evil is on every hand, trying to destroy every good work, especially the work of the righteous. Lord may we seek to be filled and overflowing with YOUR Spirit so that no evil spirit can enter our hearts.

We must rise up as Daniel and proclaim YOUR Word because it is power unto salvation. God, Your Word tells us that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. We stand on that truth! It tells us that we are made overcomers by YOUR blood and the word of our testimony.

We proclaim YOUR Word is truth! We cast our cares on YOU and delight ourselves in YOU. May faith continue to arise in our hearts as we send praises to YOUR throne. Deliver Us From Evil for thine is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory...Forever...Amen

Is Anything Too Hard For God?

You are mighty Oh God in the midst of your people. Who can stand against Your beloved as You dwell among them? How Great and Mighty You are, Your Wonders ready to perform. Is anything too difficult for You? “Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:” Jeremiah 32:17. There is nothing, absolutely nothing that God can’t do. Put your faith and trust in Him today!

"Father God, Lord Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit of God, when I survey the awesomeness of who you are, I stand in wonder of your person. You are the Creator of all things yet you are my Father. You are the Life and Sustainer of all things created yet you are my Life and more abundantly. You are my Way, my Truth and my Life. In you I live and move and have the entirety of my being. You are the power of Almighty God inhabited within the person of the Holy Spirit as witnessed in the book of Acts. Yet you are my Strength, my Power, my Comforter, and my Teacher. You are the Divine and Magnanimous Person who inhabits all of eternity yet you are my Friend, my Companion, my Heart and my Soul. There is no one like you!”

Psalm 46:1, “...God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. 4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. 5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. 6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. 7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. 8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. 9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. 10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. 11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.”

Something To Think About! by Myra Boozer

If there were no God and no Bible filled with prophecy about the last days, what intelligent person would think that this world could last very long with all that is going on? When Nations are about to fall because of their economy and collapse because of debt...moral decline has hit BOTTOM...the earth is coming apart at the seams because of earthquakes and volcanoes...people are killing the innocent at an increasingly alarming rate...evil men have grown more and more corrupt in their deeds, hating and killing all over the world...disease and sickness are out of control.

What kind of future do you see? It is horrible, beyond horrible if time goes on! But for those who love God and have chosen to follow Him, He has made a way of ESCAPE. He is coming to take us out of this horrible and depraved atmosphere that has been created by ungodly men and women.

People have pushed God aside and want to create a new world with NO rules or standards of Godliness. It seems every day you hear more plans to confuse and turn our children and grands from the truth that God designed for us to follow and be as He created us to be. Every day, sin is getting stronger in the hearts and minds of sinful man. Even if there were no God and no Bible...(WHICH THERE IS)...this world could not go on the way it is going. Sin is like a cancer! It destroys!

The great news is that God spared not His only begotten Son but sent Him to earth to take the punishment for the sin of mankind. The ball is now in your court. You can choose to allow Him to forgive your sins and choose to follow Him, or remain as you are and suffer the punishment of sin throughout eternity.

2 Corinthians 13:5, "Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?" Something To Think About!

Getting Ready To Leave? Or Getting Ready To Stay? Conclusion

(for part 2 see 2/6/26)

Back to chapter 16:20, “And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, who was laid at his gate, full of sores...” Now we see the other side of the coin. Lazarus was laid at the rich man’s porch or front gate every day. The need was obvious. There was no avoiding the dilemma of this poor man. He was really sick with sores all over his body (probably leprosy). He had to be carried because he was not able to walk alone. He was probably poor because he was sick. His sickness led to his total deprivation. So, why was he sick? Could it be so that God might touch the lives of the people around him? Could it be so that God might challenge every person that crossed his path? Here was a hungry, homeless, sick brother and how many people stopped to give him aide?

Then comes the final hour! Luke 16:21, “And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.” Lazarus died and was carried by angels to Heaven. The rich man died but his outcome was much different. “And in hell...” (Hades-Greek) Parallels with the Hebrew Sheol both meaning “realm of the dead.”  The implication is the eternally dead are without hope or deliverance.

The two people in this parable represent two different lives, two different deaths and two different eternities. Both individuals had a choice. Though Lazarus had a life of struggle, he chose to believe in his creator. The rich man, however, chose to follow his own selfish desires avoiding the needs of those around him. Lazarus sacrificed his mortal life to inherit his eternal life with Christ. The rich man sacrificed his eternal life with Christ for his mortal life. What will be your choice? Only you can determine your destiny!

Hebrews 9:26, “...but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” Getting Ready To Leave? Or, Getting Ready To Stay?

My Lion Of Judah! by Myra Boozer

Oh Father, not of myself, no good thing have I done to deserve you. You are what is Good in my life! You are my Bright and Morning Star! You shine bright even when the clouds are gray and the sun doesn't shine, when the storm clouds gather and the wind is howling.

I am settled in the fact that you are here with me even when I don't feel you or see you. I feel great assurance of your presence.

Forever you reign and forever your love trails after me. Your heart beats inside of me, sometimes like a drum from the Islands.

The songs of jubilation and redemption come upon me like the rushing sounds of a great waterfall. My heart is made glad with such splendor. The sounds of Victory and Deliverance are mighty.

Like David of old, I sing a new song!

You will defeat the enemy, the one who is sly as a fox. You know where he lives and you have a mandate to capture and defeat him. Forever, he will be under your feet, defeated and destroyed! You Lord are the Lion of Judah and You Reign Forever!

Rev. 22:16, “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. 17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”

Getting Ready To Leave? Or Getting Ready To Stay? Part 2

(for part 1 see 2/5/26)

God will put people of like character into the same lot together and bring them into judgment. In Luke’s version of Jesus’ ministry, he accounts for numerous parables that Jesus used to illustrate Divine principles. It is interesting how Jesus used the parable of the rich man and Lazarus to characterize the life of a believer and an unbeliever.

Luke 16:19, “There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day...”

The rich man represents an unbeliever. Not that a person has to be poor or lack possessions and money to be a believer but that the rich man allowed his possessions to stand between himself and God. The rich man had fine things IE…purple and fine linen and had a lavish lifestyle (fared sumptuously). However, it was not the things that he possessed that hindered his relationship with God but the mindset that possessed him. For him, life was one continual party and evidently he gave no thought to the needs of others.

What is the mindset of a rich man? Jesus gives us an example in Luke 12:16, “And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: 17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? 18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. 19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. 20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? 21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.” Life, at its best is short. Our focus should be on completing the assignment God has given to us as His servants. (continued)

A Prickly Nest! by Myra Boozer

As I recall, a mother eagle pulls out all the fluff and makes the nest prickly before those young birds want to take flight. I really think God is doing that for us today! It is getting mighty hard to feel at home in this world anymore. God knows that many are fearful of the unknown, and leaving the place we have grown accustomed to is not highly favored or on our bucket list.

When you wake up and hear of so much hatred and evil happening all over the world, even in your own hometown, you wonder what will happen next! It's just not a safe and peaceful environment anymore. Too many angry people are fighting to voice their opinion and do their thing, no matter who it hurts.

People are arguing about politics and politicians as though they are going to change someone's mind. It isn't really going to happen. Those who have their minds made up will continue until God shows them differently.

How can people declare to be Christian and say they are looking for the return of Christ, when they condone the evil acts and deeds that plainly go against the Word of God? I don't see them changing by my conversation. It will take strong conviction for people to change.

Sinful deeds and those who condone those deeds are in the same category. It is not okay to go against the Word of God for any reason. When the Word is mocked as is being done today by people who call themselves Christians and stand for a woman's right to abortion, they are denying the Word of God and putting judgment upon their heads. The word clearly states "thou shalt not kill."

A true child of God wants no part of what is going on! Yes, God is allowing the fluff to be removed, and the thorny world we live in is piercing our very souls because of the evil that is taking charge. Heaven is sounding sweeter all the time!

Getting Ready To Leave? Or Getting Ready To Stay?

Hebrews 11:8, “By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. 9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: 10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.”

Your answer to this question will determine your eternal destiny. Will you assimilate into a world system governed by carnal man, or will you be a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven governed by God? The two are as different as light and darkness. Man’s ways are not God’s ways, and God’s ways are not man’s ways.

In recent years we have heard many world leaders speak of the globalization of systems and nations. Globalization appears to be the dominant world view. It simply means the development of an integrated global economy marked by free trade, free flow of capital and tapping into cheaper foreign labor markets. Finance is the driving force behind most organizational entities in all the world. Money is power and power is money! However there is much more at stake here than money. To be a world player, one must be prepared to make concessions. You cannot expect to hold one hundred percent to your ideals and values and still participate successfully in the global economy. Presently, the powers that be, are colluding together and many are bowing to the promise of financial power.

As children of God, we are not citizens of this world! We were not created to function in this environment that engulfs all of mankind. We are created for a better world and for much greater purpose than what this world can offer. We were made to walk with God in the midst of His creation in the cool of the day. We were made to share in intimate relationship with God to share with Him in intimate communion all the days of our lives. We were made to be free from all the human encumbrances that sin has brought upon this world.

We are not citizens of this world! We are citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven. Therefore, we must be separate from the worldliness that seeks daily to invade our lives. Manipulation is of the devil. A spirit of control is orchestrated by Satan. People in leadership roles must beware lest they be influenced by the desire to control the outcome. God is the only true standard and His Will is the only blessed outcome! (continued)

Lord Jesus, Be Real In Me! by Myra Boozer

Wash me clean Lord and help me to see my motives in all I say and do. May my thoughts and actions come from you and not from any legalism or idea that I may have gathered along the way. Sometimes our concept of how to get your attention may not be what you want to hear at all. It is not necessarily the one that sings the best or has the best testimony of deliverance. Those things can make us feel good in our own eyes but distract us from what you're really looking for in us.

Men watch us and judge us by what they see and hear. But You Lord, You judge our motives. Lord, it is not always in our accomplishments that we get your attention but in our weakness, in our deficiencies. It is in that time of facing a defeat that we cry out for your mercy and standing all alone we become very real with YOU. We need you to be very firm with us because our days are running out and we are coming to the DAY when we will stand before you the Righteous Judge and hear you call our Name. Our deeds will be judged righteous or wicked. I want to be clean and acceptable in your eyes Lord because we cannot hide under a cloak of pretense. It will not matter what we or anyone thinks of us but what you know about us. I want to be real with you Lord...never fake or phony...but genuine and pure...Amen. Lord Jesus, Be Real In Me!

Jesus, I Choose To Walk With You!

Lord Jesus, I come to meet with you today. I want to be with you, experience you and express you. Wash my mind of all the intrusive thoughts that bombard my consciousness. Remove each and every competing idea with your direction for me today. Erase everything that will impede or interfere with me hearing your voice. Bring my spirit in to the holy place of your habitation and speak into me your Divine instruction and counsel for my future. Help me to see clearly what you have for me and those who will hear your message. Open my spirit, my soul and my mind to the contemplation of your Holy Spirit. I desire to be an integral part in what you are doing presently in my world. Bring me along beside you and allow me to participate in all that you consider pertinent to do so. Cleanse me of all things that might obscure my spiritual vision. Help me to see what you see and work where you work. This I pray in Jesus' name all for the honor and glory of your kingdom! Amen

I Search For God! He Finds Me! by Myra Boozer

Lord, please clear the thoughts of all the things I think I must do today. Surround me with Your thoughts and Your desires. Fill in all the recesses of my heart and set my feet on the right path.

Troubles are all around, and the sounds are coming in loud and clear that all is not well. The road of demands is calling for my attention to come to each of them, and each seems desperate.

Slow me down to Your pace, Lord. You are never in a hurry but always right on time. You are never slack when You make a promise. You always follow through. You have this whole universe in Your hands, and nothing is out of Your control. Why can't I be more like You? You are relentless, never letting up. Help me Lord, because You are greater than all my rush to unfold today and rearrange this clutter in my mind.

You seek me as I seek You! We will come together in perfect unity when I slow my pace so I can reach You. Thank You for Your never ending patience with me. Thank You for always reaching and stretching Your infinite love towards me!

Today will be no ordinary day. Today I will reach for You to allow You to touch me. I will consider Your lofty thoughts. They are so much higher than mine. I will consider Your love that is ever reaching to the lost, the sad, and the broken. I will consider Your strong arms of mercy and grace as they pull in all who are drifting on the sea of ignorance and defeat. They are searching for peace, hope, and love.

So I must reason with myself daily and know that I am not alone in my search for You. When I can be still and shut out the world scurrying all around me, I find You, and You find me!  You find me along with the least of mankind or the highly favored in all the world. You are not off limits to the needy and hungry refugee who is searching for You. Neither would you turn away the rich and famous if they would come to You.

I see ME slowly giving up the struggle, and You accepting my humanity. Thank you, Jesus! I Search For God! He Finds Me!

God Will Make A Way!

1 Corinthians 10:13, “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

As I contemplate the conditions that exist in our world, I am reminded of how really important it is to believe in a living God who wants to be intimately involved in my life. And He wants to be involved in your life in the same way. Actually He desires to be involved in every detail of each and every life on the face of the earth.

Presently, people are dealing with very difficult situations and circumstances all over the world. Humanity is in a crisis. We need to know the solution to our dilemma. We need answers to stabilize this volatile environment.

I don’t know how you are feeling right now, but I can imagine the varying levels of fear, confusion, frustration, and helplessness that many are experiencing. Our future doesn’t appear too promising if you only look at the current conditions in our world. But there is a solution to each and every problem that we face. God will make a way! Jesus Christ is the Way Maker for every person, community, and nation that will call to Him for help!

God has brought us to this place to give opportunity for all who will call upon His Name to be saved. This is the dividing line, and all who have a desire to know God will move toward Him. But those who don’t want to have any part with Him will move further into darkness. It’s time to choose! It’s Time To Pray!

What Are You Trading Your Life For? by Myra Boozer

Matthew 13:44, “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.”

Just thinking about what is important to me, you know, what really matters? Some things just don't matter! But there are some things that really matter. What matters is not possessing many things of value but possessing the one thing of greatest value, the Kingdom of God!!! It's worth more than all the other things we could ever find.

What are you trading your life for? Day by day we usually spend our time doing what we want, working to pay bills, saving for a vacation, new house, new car, on and on. But what really matters? When we come to the end of our life I don't want to find that I spent my life on "things." I don't want to find that what I traded for my life was "fool's gold," shiny, insubstantial and ultimately worthless things. But that I sought out the "pearl of great price" like the man in the parable of the treasure hidden in the field.

He knew what mattered! Do you? Whatever you have to give up to get the great treasure it will be so small compared to the treasure that is waiting on the other side. Seek ye first the kingdom, then these other things will be added. But, they will never be as important or take the place of the greatest treasure God has for you in His Kingdom...Matt. 13:44-52.

Lord, Keep Us Safe Till The Storm Passes By!

Daniel 6:10, “Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.”

The prophet Daniel was not so different from you and me. He lived in a time of displacement and captivity for his people. He struggled to remain at peace with his captors and remain true to the Lord God Jehovah. But, when he was forced to make a choice, he always chose God.

Daniel made an open show of his allegiance to God (Daniel 6:10). Daniel prayed as before! His prayer life was the foundation for his existence both present and future. When the enemy tested his love and loyalty to God, Daniel continued doing what he did every day. The die was cast and the pattern established. Therefore, Daniel held to his faith in God and God delivered him.

The substance of our life in Christ must be established before the storm comes. We must know that the foundation of our life is built upon Jesus Christ and all other ground is sinking sand. Therefore, when the trials of life test us, we continue doing what we have always done. We pray and trust God and He will deliver us once again!

God reveals Himself and our future in Him during these times of intense trial. It is during those times that we seek guidance and rely so heavily upon Him. He uses our faith and our dependence on Him to lead us into our future with Him! Lord, Keep Us Safe Till The Storm Passes By!

The Healing Of Our Nations! by Myra Boozer

Tragedy brings people together. It also brings people to the place of feeling helpless, needing someone to care. When broken, people become open to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE. Wouldn't it be wonderful if our churches would join hand in hand, praying for the HURTING and praying for the SALVATION of this WORLD.

Churches are so divided by Doctrine and Traditions. They hardly communicate with each other...SAD...JESUS died for ALL and loves us all. We need to UNITE in HIM! He is our "Common Ground." Instead of looking at all the differences, we need to stand together in the UNITY of THE CROSS of JESUS CHRIST. SATAN IS PLEASED when we are divided. GOD IS NOT!

Lord, please help us (the Church) to reach out to each other...to ALL who believe in YOU...those who have the same HEART CRY...those who LOVE YOU and desire to walk in YOUR WAYS...those who feel the pain and suffering of the broken and destitute. BRING US TOGETHER IN LOVE FOR YOU and ALL THOSE WHO NEED YOU.

Please help me pray for this to begin in all areas of our world. There is strength in numbers and strength in people visually seeing that the CHURCH CARES.

It doesn't take much to show you CARE. But, it can make a world of difference to the person hurting. LET'S DO THIS! Pray and ask God to direct you in joining with OTHERS for a great purpose...THE HEALING OF OUR NATIONS!

It Is Time!

Many voices in the Church are calling the Body of Christ to Prayer. Today, we stand at the door of one of the greatest times in human history. We dare not move forward without full understanding of the gravity of our response to the call of God and the effect of that response upon ourselves and all that our lives might touch. Our future will be defined by what we do in this moment of our choice.

Many have already been praying! Those prayers have brought us to where we are now. But, we can't stop the prayer meetings. After 9/11 we had an opportunity to seek God and turn this nation around. But the praying didn't last. After only a few weeks we drifted back to business a usual. We cannot afford to take for granted the opportunity God is giving us. This is our last chance as a nation. Pray, Church! Pray like our lives depend on it. Because they do!

Can we pray? Father God, Lord Jesus Christ, we do here and now accept your challenge to pray in travailing prayer for our world that is lost and broken. We desire the Spirit of prayer to intercede. Open our spiritual eyes and ears so we can see and hear the cries of the lost, the beaten, the debilitated.  Teach us to understand what they are facing. Guide us to see and hear them as you do. Give us the compassion and love that you have for them so that we are inspired to join in their redemption. Lift us up in the power of Your Word being fully dressed in faith to lead the captives free. Anoint us with your power that we may speak to the mountains before us and they will be moved into the sea. Let us see the prison doors spring open at the mighty thrust of Your Presence. Help us to run into the battle with such passion that others are seized with the same fervor. I can hear the sound of mighty armies engaged on the battlefield. Can we pray? It Is Time!
