The Enemy Is At The Gate! by Myra Boozer

I believe the enemy is at the gate! He is like a roaring lion seeking to devour whomever he can. If anyone is thinking of becoming a warrior, IT IS TIME! If anyone is thinking of giving up, turning in your armor, backing out, and running scared, IT IS NOT THE TIME! We have too much at stake, our lives and the lives of those we love dearly. Who would not fight for those they love? Stand in the strength of the Lord. Let not your heart be troubled! For the child of God, the battle is almost over. The King is about to call the Warriors and all those who love Him to come up higher! 

Who Left The Gate Open?

John 10:12, “But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.”

The hireling has left the door open and the wolf, Satan, has entered in and made havoc of the flock. However, we cannot continue down this path. We must rise up in the power of the Holy Spirit and take back what the enemy has stolen. You might ask, “What has he stolen?” He has taken our families and our homes. He has taken our schools and educational systems. From there, he has taken control of our local governments, state governments, national governments, and international governments. Over the period of the last few decades, Satan has moved God out of these institutions and governing bodies, and he almost does at will what he wants when he wants. Except for the “Restrainer!”

2 Thessalonians 2:6, “And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:”

God is still in control, and His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, is still restraining the full-blown takeover by Satan and his world of darkness. That time is coming and is quickly approaching, but God will determine when! (continued)

I Can Only Imagine! by Myra Boozer

Oh Lord, how my heart does sing when I hear Your people worship in song. It is a glorious feeling to be brought into Your presence. Your love captures us, and we are taken away by Your spirit, taken into the heavenly realms of rejoicing and praising Your Holy Name.

One day, we will stand in Your presence and bow at Your feet. We will be free from all of the thoughts that try to rush in and steal our admiration of YOU!

We will be without any restraints. We will have no hindrances. We will have no reservations. It will be a time of jubilation, a time of exaltation! What Joy will flood our mind, our body and our soul.

This mortal body cannot imagine what Glory we shall experience when we see You face to face. "Will we dance before you Jesus, or in awe of you be still?"

It will be an event like we have never experienced. So, we can only imagine what it will be like to stand before You in Your Glory.

I will continue to think on this day and prepare my heart to be still and just rest in the mystery of what Eternity will bring.

"Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance. In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted. For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted. For the LORD is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our King," Psalm 89:15-18. 

Then Face To Face!

Often, as I look into the faces of my grandchildren, God’s gifts straight from heaven, I see in them the reflection of the face of God. Many times, I have met them just outside my front door as they came running up my walkway. Their faces were all aglow with joy, so happy to come to our house. With sweet smiles upon their faces and arms spread wide, they run into the arms of their anxiously awaiting Papa. Such an exchange of love and embrace is hard to describe in ordinary words. I am overwhelmed with thanksgiving that God has created such a wonder.

The relationships that we have here are but a prelude to what lies ahead for the children of God. 1 Cor. 13:12, “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.” As great as our revelation of God may be, our experience with God is veiled to some degree. Similar to Moses’ inability to experience the full impact of the majesty of God due to earthly constraints, there is a limit to our ability to fully entertain God. However, there is a time coming soon, and we shall see Him as He is. 1 John 3:2, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” Now we see in part and know in part, but at His appearing we shall behold and share in the unveiled glory of the risen Christ.

I envision in my mind the images of making our final journey to our heavenly home. When we arrive at our destination, I wonder how it will be. Will the experience be similar to that of my grandchildren? With our faces glowing with the redeeming grace of Jesus Christ, with smiles of redemption and arms spread wide, will we rush into the arms of our anxiously awaiting heavenly Father? 1 Cor. 2:9, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” We Can Only Imagine! 

Jesus Is More Than Enough! by Myra Boozer

John 4:13, “Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”

I found this statement a while ago, and it has been an inspiration...."God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him." When the desires of this world can fade away like a fog lifting off the valley, I believe that we find a new perspective about life, love, and our relationship with others, especially God. He just fills our every longing and desire. We are no longer pushed and pressured into needing anything except Him and His presence. It is no longer about me and what I must attain or receive from this world. He becomes my focus. He brings my life to the fullest, and my heart can sing in the midst of chaos, because I know He Is More Than Enough for today, tomorrow, and forever...and He always has leftovers...His storehouse is FULL... 

There Is Power In The Name Of Jesus!

John 14:12, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”

There is power in the name of Jesus! There is power to break every chain. Power to live for Christ and walk in unbridled victory. Free to flow in the Spirit and experience His presence from glory to glory. He leads us up, higher and higher, into His Majesty. Having been exposed to His glorious Light, we will never be the same.

We are changed in His presence. We can never be the same once His glory has shown upon us. We are changed forever, and He has planted such a desire to reach higher. His presence is so addictive that no sooner than you walk away, you have an unquenchable need to return.

And we can return again and again. There is no limit to the glory we can experience in His presence. Simply come to Him in obedience and submission, and He will carry you to heights previously unknown. He will reveal truths you haven't understood and emotions you've never experienced. But most of all, He will reveal Himself to you and in you so that the world around you can see Him and be touched by Him, “that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”

What Is The Answer?

What is the answer to the atrocious, appalling, frightful conditions around the world? We have never lived in a time equal to the suffering, discord, and mayhem we are seeing today. The whole of mankind has failed in its effort to govern and provide for the basic needs of humanity. What is the answer?

The Angels announced the answer over 2000 yrs. ago in a field just outside a little town in Judea called Bethlehem. Luke 2:7, “And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger....10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.”

Although the answer was given, He was rejected, much like He is being rejected in our world today. Many are rejecting the gift of Jesus, the Messiah, our Savior. In the world's wholesale rejection of God's solution to our problem, the whole of humanity has plunged into a deep, impenetrable darkness from which only the Light of Lights can deliver us. John 1:9, “That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.”

The current world climate is similar to the time of Noah. Gen. 6:5, “And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Men had become so wicked in their manner of living and thought that God concluded that He would erase the slate and start over. I am convinced that is where we are today. God is preparing to erase mortal flesh as we know it and create a new heaven and a new earth to begin new and fresh.

There will be one great difference between Noah's new beginning and the New World to come. In our new habitat, the forces of sin and evil will be cast into the lake of fire and will be eliminated forever. There will not be carnal, fleshly, sinful governance for all present in the New World will have been born of the Spirit and changed for eternity. All disobedience and rebellion will be cast into outer darkness. Jesus will sit on His Throne and govern His Kingdom with Truth and Righteousness. Matt. 6:13, “...For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.” Jesus Is The Answer!

My Safe Place! by Myra Boozer

Life is so full of troubles, trials, and disappointments. Many days, our hearts can be broken because of all that is going on in our world. Neglected children, the forgotten elderly, the sick and dying, and the lonely with no one to share the day. It is a beautiful thing to know that God has a place that provides protection and shelter, a place one can turn to for help, relief, and escape. The Lord tells us He is with us at all times. But we must leave our little world of survival and focus our hearts and minds towards Him who is our refuge.

When we give all our TRUST to Him alone, then it happens. He comes, sits with us, and talks with us, wrapping His big arms of love around us. It is then that we realize we are not alone or overtaken by any burden that He cannot handle.

When we allow the Holy Spirit to renew our minds, we are actually surrendering to what is going on and receiving our life vest for survival during our storm. Spiritually, we are taken into that safe place of His protection, His pavilion, and none of the things of this world can defeat us. Not that we are not there already, but when our hearts don't stay FIXED on Him, we do not REST in His PRESENCE.

We must stay awake and aware that the world will pull us in, leaving us vulnerable to Satan and his lies of defeat. BUT Jesus says come unto me, ALL of you that are troubled or overtaken, and I will give you REST. He is our safe place in a world of calamity. He is our shelter in the time of the storm. He is the one who lifts us up above the shadows and puts our feet on solid ground.

To really know Him is to TRUST Him...To Trust Him means that your soul will be at REST... When all around us is crumbling down...Our heart is fixed on the Lord, and we are safe and secure in Him...Jesus is My Safe Place! 

I Need You Lord!

Lord Jesus, show us Your Mercy today! When I survey my world, I am troubled and distracted by all the events and conditions surrounding me! I need You to help me focus on Your will for today. I need You to guide my thoughts, my prayers, my speech, and my steps. It is only through You that I can press through the darkness which surrounds me, a darkness and evil so intrusive and pervasive that its goal is to take away Your very Life in me.

I struggle within this fleshly house, and I know that it is Your strength that will prevail. Rise up, Oh Holy Spirit, and exert Your ownership in me. Push back the darkness and evil that takes my very breath away. Breathe on me the eternal, sovereign deliverance that only You can bring. Trouble may endure for a night, but Your Joy will come in the morning. The darkness will be forced to retreat and dissipate as the Son of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings. Healing for the soul, mind, and body.

Oh God! Take me there, where no sadness or sorrow can exist. Lift me up above the shadows of this world and set my feet upon the mountain top, high above the battle for my eternal soul. Release me from the chains of this mortal existence and cause me to walk in the everlasting life of Your Eternal Promise. I long to walk by the still waters and rest in Your Divine Presence.

Oh, how I desire to escape this intruder sent to buffet me. He comes upon me suddenly and abruptly. He is not welcome here, and I will resist with every ounce of strength until You come. And You will come to release me from the bonds of this flesh.

Bring the rain of Your sweet Deliverance upon my thirsty soul. Fill my mind, my heart, and my soul with Your Word of Promise. Cause the aroma of Your Presence to envelope me. Push back the evil and darkness. Order my steps and direct me to walk in the light of Your Path, and surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life! All I Need Is You, Lord Jesus! 

When I Don't Know What To Do! by Myra Boozer

Lord, when the world is overwhelming, and I don't know what to do,

I struggle with my feelings and try to trust in You.

When the trials come down like rain, and I think I'm about to sink,

I call for you to save me and stop all my defeat.

When my feet get weary from running, and my eyes are full of fear,

I turn to you, and just in time, I know that you are near.

When my lips began to quiver, and my heart begins to faint,

I stand upon the Solid Rock and call upon Your Name.

You Come!...for you are not afraid of what I'm feeling, and you calm my stormy sea.

I draw a breath of sweet relief and put my trust in Thee...

“My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever,” Psalm 73:26. 

Jesus Died For Us! Conclusion

God’s desire is for all men everywhere to be saved. 1 Timothy 2:4, “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all...” God has prepared the way through the gift of His only Son. The penalty for sin has been paid. All one needs to do is repent of his sins and accept the Lordship of Christ in his life.

Pray this prayer with me and receive God’s unspeakable GIFT of salvation. “Lord Jesus Christ, I desire to be saved from the curse of sin and sin’s punishment. Thank You for paying the penalty for my sin. I believe You gave Your life to ransom my life. I believe You died on the cross, but You rose victorious over death, hell, and the grave on the third day just as You had promised. I’m tired of my life of sin. From this moment forward, I give my life to You. I belong to You. Use me for Your honor and glory, and give me an eternal home with You in heaven. Thank You for Your GIFT of eternal life in Jesus Christ! Thank You for saving me! Amen!” 

Your Unfailing Love! Conclusion by Myra Boozer

"Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another," 1 John 4:10-11

When we come under your umbrella of authority, we come into your Kingdom and accept your Lordship. When we cast off the earthly, carnal thinking and resign all our cares to you, You become the force within us to actually love as you love. You open our eyes to see the hurt and confusion in the hearts of mankind.

Lord, I want to sink deep into the truth you have for me today. Nothing should be as important as what you are saying to my heart. Cause me to desire to be filled with your love and mercy. May my actions show those around me your character. Lord, touch my heart with your compassion. Touch my eyes to see their needs, my ears to hear their cries, my hands to offer a healing touch, and my lips to speak your words of LIFE.

Prepare our hearts, dear Lord, for out of them will flow the most BEAUTIFUL LOVE that we can imagine, love that will cause us to pray for one another. We are FAMILY, because you are our Father and we are experiencing Your Unfailing Love! 

Jesus Died For Us!

Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Jesus died for us when we were dead in our sins and doomed to an eternity in hell! Our frail human mind is incapable of fully comprehending the magnitude of God’s gift to us. How can someone whom we haven’t previously known be willing to sacrifice His only Son for our benefit? Romans 5:6, “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

When we did not know how lost we were, God had planned our complete deliverance. Through the precious blood offering of His Son, Jesus, the pure and spotless Lamb of God, the penalty for sin was paid. God loved us when we were still sinners.

Jesus died for us, and we are justified by His blood. We are saved from the wrath of God as we look to the cross and believe. When the sin in us made us enemies of God, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son. We have now received life through the atonement for our sin by Christ Jesus. He died and rose again to provide our deliverance, to free us from the curse of sin and sin’s punishment. (continued) 

Your Unfailing Love! by Myra Boozer

Jesus, help us to know you better and know your unfailing love. I ask that you show us what real love is all about. We are needy people with a misunderstanding many times of how much YOU love us. Teach us about your agape love, which covers all people. You love the high, the low, the rich, the poor. Your LOVE is like a river that flows freely for one and all. You see us all the same, a people in need of a Savior.

Lord, you've created each of us with a plan, a purpose for our life, and not to live an isolated life with no one with whom to share this love you have GIVEN. Lord, your love is not about caring then forgetting. It is pure, holy, full of mercy, and EVERLASTING. (continued)

The Light Of Pure Redemption!

Isaiah 59:1, “Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear.”

The condition of our world is not God’s fault! Sin has separated mankind from God, but it’s not God’s fault! Man has chosen to walk in the path of sin rather than heed God’s counsel and correction.

The call of God to all humanity is to repent and return to God in a covenant relationship through Jesus Christ. Anyone who expects God's favor and covering must approach Him in repentance and follow in obedience. One of the greatest judgments that God brought against Israel was their failure to uphold “truth and justice.” That principle is just as relevant to our world today. If God brought the leadership of Israel to judgment because of their lack of truth and justice, He will do the same for every generation.

We must have the intervention of God in these last days. Let all men in every place fall prostrate before Him, casting all care upon Him, and receive His light of pure redemption. A Light In Darkness! by Myra Boozer

It used to be when we went to Church, many of the husbands and dads that weren't living right (still sinning) would stay outside and talk and smoke. They knew the power of God and the convicting Spirit of the Holy Ghost would have them in the altar if they went inside.

This was back in the 50's and 60's, and there was no air conditioning. The windows were raised, and many times you could see some hanging around the windows. God's power was so strong, and the altars would fill up with people calling out to God to forgive them. Thankfully, even as a young child, I knew that God was in the HOUSE and I yielded to the bidding of His convicting power.

Yes, I backslid, but not for long periods of time. We were taught to go back and do our first works over. Repent and be baptized again. I was taught never to be a hypocrite (one who pretends to be something they are not).

If ever anything turns the world off to Christianity, it is that very thing, for the Church to claim something they are NOT! God help us all to get real with God and with others and be the people we say we are. God's people, His Holy people, the Redeemed of the Lord, the Sanctified, the Church of the Living God.

Some have said you can't blame the sinner for not coming to the Lord. You must blame the Church for not being THE CHURCH. The Church is to be a light set on a hill for all to see the Love of God and to experience his forgiveness. But also to be A Light In Darkness to guide people to His TRUTH. 

Light Or Darkness?

Matt. 24:9, “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. 10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”

Our goal as the Body of Christ is not to offend or be offensive. However, offense is a characteristic of the end times. It is the struggle between light and darkness. Jesus said in His Olivet discourse that this would be the case. Many are offended because of the holiness of God’s Word. Many are offended when God shines His light into their darkness. Many are offended because they want to justify their sin, but sin and holiness cannot inhabit the same space. The Holy Spirit will shine His light upon our lives and reveal sin’s darkness in us. At that point, we must choose light over darkness or be forever lost.

My hope is that you will pray this prayer with me! “Lord Jesus Christ, I come to you today in my human weakness, aware that any good thing in me is what you have created. There is no substance, no state of mind or conscience that transcends the work of the Holy Spirit in me. I yield myself to the work of Your Spirit. Take me, prepare me, and use me. If there be any good thing in me, use it for your honor and glory. Jesus Christ be glorified in my life. I covenant with you to be what you desire me to be. I pray that my mind would be as the Mind of Christ, that my mouth would speak the Words of Christ, my hands would practice the Deeds of Christ, and that my feet would take me into the Way of Christ. Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. May I ever walk in your Word. Lord Jesus, have mercy upon me and my house. I am forever Yours. Be glorified in me! In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

If you prayed this prayer along with me, your failures are in your past. Repentance and submission are your present. Triumph and victory are your future! Praise be to the Lamb of God who was slain that by His blood we are washed clean! Light Or Darkness?

Not A Death Sentence! by Myra Boozer

Psalm 16:11, "Thou wilt shew me the path of life; in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore."

Being on the wrong road does not have to be a "death sentence." It is sometimes difficult to admit, "I have made a wrong turn." The sooner one stops and checks the road map, the sooner one can get back on the right road headed in the right direction.

The same is true in our spiritual life. One must admit, I have taken the wrong exit, or sometimes just kept on going on the same road that was taking them further and further from the intended destination. Actually, now is a good time to talk to the Lord and confess one's disobedience or whatever the distraction was that caused the error. This is not an easy task, but it is the only one that works.

People call it different things, such as indifference, stubbornness, and hardheadedness, to name a few. The Bible uses some words like rebellious, stiff-necked, blind, unaware, dreamers, complainers, and those who have gone in the way of Cain. I think the bottom line is they who have gotten on the wrong road just don't have the strength or the desire to stop and evaluate where they are headed. They go deeper and deeper into depression, loneliness, confusion, and heartache, which can lead to spiritual death. All because they were not willing to check with the Word of God (The Spiritual road map). They move further and further from understanding what the Will of God is for their life. They can no longer reason out what to do and are overtaken by guilt from their failure in following the wrong road.

Being on the wrong road does not have to be a "death sentence." The Lord knows the way you should go. Cry out to Him in your despair and listen to His voice. When He speaks and gives you direction, follow His directions; the sooner the better. He can lead you out of your dilemma and set you on a straight path. A path that leads to a much better ride with a clear and determined destination of Eternal Life at the end of the way. 

Going Home!

 (I wrote this back in 2018. I believe it is even more true today!)

Today I went back to the old home place. It was wonderful to see all the familiar faces and share in the pleasant memories of yesterday. Those memories bring back the substance of my life, the foundation for my life that continues to provide the stability to weather the storms that cross my path. I thank God for the principles of my faith which were implanted in me in my childhood, and even now they are my sustaining strength.

The home place has changed, it’s just not the same. Too many have left us! Some have gone away by choice, seeking their way in life and the happiness they desperately desire. Others have gone away, but their bodies are still present. They struggle to remember names, places, and events that have passed. They have lost many of those precious memories. Still, others have left us because their time on earth is finished, and they have gone to their heavenly home.

So, you see, the old home place will never be what it once was. It will never be the same because life continues to change. Some of our loved ones have left, and some are in the process of leaving. But new faces are being added as we welcome the new lives God has granted us. He has sent the treasures of heaven to fulfill our lives as we also prepare to leave.

The process of time changes us and everything around us. Change is inevitable. Nothing stays the same. The measure of God’s grace in our lives is determined by how well we adapt to these changes. We can go kicking and screaming into our future. Or, we can move forward with the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ, knowing that He has secured the good He has promised for us. Our role is to seek God’s will and guidance for ourselves and those whose lives we share. We are all in preparation for Going Home!

1 Corinthians 13:12, “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.” We shall behold Him face to face in all of His glory. What a glorious reunion it will be when we all Get Home!

Jesus Is Always Near! by Myra Boozer

“When I walk by the wayside, He is along with me...Amid all my forgetfulness of Him, He never forgets me.” Thomas Chalmers

Oh, the days that I look for Him, the days I think, where are you, Lord? I cry out to him, please come and fill my longings and let me know you are here. I wish I could remember that He is always near and never leaves me, but trouble over takes me, and my heart begins to break. Just for a moment, my forgetfulness rises up, and I, too, despair as Peter did over the stormy weather. Peter was walking on the water to Jesus! Wow, but the winds were overwhelming to his mind. He must have actually forgotten the miracle that was happening right under his feet.

Matthew 14:28-31, "And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come and when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. BUT when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying Lord, save me."

How many times is God making a way when there seems to be no way? But one puff of wind from the evil one blows us right off track. We must be like Peter and CRY out in our desperation, "LORD save me." We must never forget that He is ever near when the enemy starts howling and putting up a fight. We must have our minds centered on Jesus and remember that he never changes. Jesus Is Always Near! "For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." Hebrews 13:5 

Breath Of Heaven Breathe On Us! Conclusion

Jesus’ instructions to His disciples had been to go to Jerusalem and tarry (pray) until the Holy Ghost comes. Luke 24:49, “And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” The Holy Ghost is the power part of our commission to spread the Gospel message. Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

Jesus fulfilled His promise in Acts 2:1, “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” The presence of the Holy Ghost was “a rushing mighty wind.” That is the way Christ wants to affect our world today. This rushing mighty wind of God changed the world in the lifetime of those very disciples.

In Acts 17, the Gospel message had met with tremendous opposition. The messengers of the Gospel put their lives on the line. The unbelieving Jews of Thessalonica were so indifferent to the Gospel that they sought to take Paul and Silas and give them to the angry crowd. Acts 17:6, “And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;” The unbelievers were compelled to declare that these Christians had turned the world upside down and had come to their city to do the same.

I would to God that it could be said of this present generation of Christians, they have turned the world upside down for Jesus Christ. However, if we are to be instruments of this harvest, we must be endued with power. It will take being filled with the Holy Ghost, “the rushing mighty wind,” to fulfill Jesus’ commission and finish our mission in these last days. Only the power of the Holy Ghost can seal and protect us from the darkness and evil that has flooded this world. The Holy Ghost in us will make us victorious in this spiritual war. Lord, send Your Mighty Wind upon us! 

May I Use This Breath! by Myra Boozer

How beautiful are your ways, oh Lord. Your Glory and your Good Pleasure are such a delight. I learn from the very air I breathe how vast your love is to all mankind and the creatures you have created. You blow upon this earth, and we breathe. Our very Life is from your Breath. It is what sustains all of us!

Lord, may I use this breath you give to sing Praises to your Holy Name, to lift you high above the Mountains that your own breath created? You spoke all things into existence. May my heart rejoice in your Beauty and Splendor for all of my days.

May I use this breath to call upon you in a time to surrender my will to your perfect plan. Accept my heart's cry today, for I am helpless, useless, and utterly lost without your Mercy. I am as one who is groping in the darkness without you.

May I use this breath to tell someone of your great love. Some do not know, or else they have forgotten just how much you love them. May my breath speak your unlimited Love to all people everywhere.

May I use this breath to speak Your Truth to those who should be ashamed, ashamed for turning away from your plan and going after their own “design” for lifestyle and behavior.

May I use this breath to sound the Alarm for all those who are far from you. Some who just gave up and put down their armor. Others who just want to seek out an easy way, still claiming your Name. And yet others who have fallen asleep and do not know the times in which we live. As in the days of Noah, they see the conditions yet deny the judgment coming on all who sin.

May I use this breath to speak Hope to the hopeless and Life to the dying, Peace to the restless, and Joy to the sorrowful. May my words be uplifting and encouraging as I speak of your soon return for your Bride, Your Church, Your People, Your Chosen Ones.

May I use this breath to speak of your great treasures...the ones you have hidden in your Word...the hidden riches of secret places...that they may know that you are the Lord God of Israel....Amen and Amen… May I Use This Breath! 

Breath Of Heaven Breathe On Us!

It was a hot summer morning in mid-August in the South. It was a typical day for the season, high humidity with little to no wind. I went about my business without really giving attention to these details, but that was about to change.

I stood in quiet solitude and listened to the leaves of the tree as they began to stir to a slight breeze. It was as though they were individual instruments in a grand symphony, the pitch and tempo rising and falling but in perfect harmony, each separate but still in sync.

The wind was slight at first, barely noticeable except for the song the leaves sang. I began to feel the cool wind as it caressed my face and hair. The sensation grew in intensity! The wind blew stronger and then subsided. It came in pulsating bursts, strong enough to take the hat from my head, and then at rest.

I observed and felt this scenario repeated for several moments. And then, a voice spoke into my spirit, “a rushing mighty wind.” Yes, Lord, I know it is You, and I hear what You are saying! Our Lord, Jesus Christ, wants to reveal Himself through the Holy Spirit to change our world. His desire is to fill you and me with the Holy Spirit, endue us with power (His Power) from on high, and turn our world upside down. He wants the world to see and acknowledge His presence in us. Breath Of God, Breathe On Us one more time! (continued)

My Life Is In Your Hands! by Myra Boozer

Psalms 62:5, “My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. 6 He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. 7 In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. 8 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.”

Lord, my life is in your hands. My tears are in your bottle. All my days have been written in your Book.

Lord, my life is in your hands. I will not be overwhelmed by the terror by night nor the arrow that flies by day. Because you love me, I will come when you call.

I will wait until you come, and I will rejoice in your mercy. All I will ever need is found in you, Lord. May I always be listening for your voice. My Life is in your hands.

James 5:7, “Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receiveth the early and latter rain. 8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.” 

He Restores My Soul!

Psalm 23:1, “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”

God is enough for anyone who puts their full trust in Him. The writer of this passage knew that very well. Speaking from the perspective of someone who spent his youth with sheep, David knew the attributes of a good shepherd and drew the comparison to his relationship with God.

David had learned that God would provide all that he needed in life. But more than that, he knew that God would lead him in the direction that best pleased Him for His honor and His glory. He also knew that God would be with him every step of the way, though he had to travel through the enemy’s camp. God’s anointing would be sufficient for all his days, and in the end, he would dwell in the presence of God forever.

Jesus Christ is enough for us today if we will put our full trust in Him. He will provide all that we will ever need in this life. He will do that for His name's sake! We carry His Name as followers of Christ. It is His reputation that He will defend and protect. In the presence of our enemies, He will raise up His Standard. We will walk in His anointing all our days and in the end rest in His presence forever.

How can anyone pass up this glorious opportunity? How can we neglect such an awesome invitation? He Restores My Soul! 

God Knows The Best Way! by Myra Boozer

A few years ago, our two granddaughters were playing so sweetly together. All of a sudden, I heard a cry that shouldn't have been part of their playtime. Then I heard the youngest say to her sister, “You're being rude because you won't let me do what I WANT to do.” This really got my attention. How childish, but then again, she was only 6 years old.

Even as adults, we sometimes feel this way toward God. We may even say, "God, this is just not fair." We think He is not being a good Father when He doesn't give us what we WANT. Well, we are wrong! He knows what is best for His Children, and He will do what is best. But there may come a time when we refuse to do what is right, and He will let us go our own way and do what we want to do.

Now, that is a scary place to be, and we don't want to stay there very long. When we choose to walk away, then we must choose to go back where we left God, repent with tears, and do things His way. He is not going to come and say, "Child, I was wrong, do what you want, and everything is okay."

God will help us any time. He loves us, but we must go His way, not ours. "Can two walk together except they be agreed?" Amos 3:3. Are you asking God to go your way, or are you going His way?

When we walk with the Lord, we learn so much about His character. We learn about His loving patience and His unending mercy. But we also learn about His boundaries and His laws. He is not a pushover, and He is not one to allow us to live reckless and ungodly lives. He is strict with His requirements of righteous living. He will discipline us and sometimes correct us with a strong hand. But walking hand in hand with Jesus will lead us right into Heaven. That is the place we all want to live when this life is over. God Knows The Best Way to get there! 

God Knows The Way We Should Take!

Job 23:10, “But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. 11 My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined. 12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.”

As I observe the behavior of the world around me, there seems to be a mad dash of lost humanity into their eternal destiny without regard for the preservation of their eternal souls. Life is precious and a gift from God. No one has the right to take away that gift!

We are living in an era when people support the killing of innocent children in the womb and then are horrified when someone takes a gun to school and massacres those innocent lives. Our world has created an atmosphere in which reverence for life has been greatly diminished for some, and for others, it is destroyed altogether. The weight is heavy upon us to sound the alarm and awaken lost humanity to the consequences of our apathy in this arena of life. We cannot attach value to life in one instance while devaluing life in another! We are reaping the result of our inconsistencies.

It is time to take a stand! As disciples of Jesus Christ, we must proclaim the call of God to come back to the principles of His Word. The path before us is unknown; however, the way ahead is not uncharted territory. We have never been this way before, but we can proceed with full assurance that God knows where we are going. 

God has something to say and a work to perform in this generation! If we have covenanted to walk with Him, we are going where He is going. God has gone before us and created our map in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Way! John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” If we follow Him, He will lead us in His path. He knows the way we should take!

There is no need to flounder in a climate of indecision when the answer is with us. Let us not be deterred by the uncertainties that lie before us, but concern ourselves with the cause of Jesus Christ. He loves each and every person and has placed great value on each soul by giving His own life to bring life to the lifeless. We may not know the specifics of our future, but we can be sure that if our faith is in the saving grace of the cross, we will finish well! God Knows The Way We Should Take! 

Lion Of Judah, Roar! by Myra Boozer

Joel 3:16, "The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heaven and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel."

Lion of Judah, roar against our enemies...

Those who rise up against righteousness…

The enemies who raise their ugly heads against your people, God...Those who mock and scorn the Name of Jesus...Those who continue to call good evil and evil good.

Roar with a great sound that every enemy will tremble and fall on their face in repentance.

Roar against the addictions of drugs, alcohol, and sex.

Roar against cancer that has no respect of person, young or old, rich or poor.

Roar against this world of deception and lies that many of the youth are falling for.

Roar against the parents who neglect and abuse their precious babies and children.

Roar against sexual sins, all of them, including adultery, fornication, homosexuality, pornography, sex trade, prostitution, and pedophilia.

Roar, Lord, in the face of the cold-hearted employers who put unfair expectations on their employees.

Roar against those who declare that abortion should be acceptable and legal, saying that the babies they carry inside their bodies have no value.

Roar, Lord, against the evil that has risen up to take the lives of our school children.

Roar, Lord, against the preacher who no longer preaches the Truth to his congregation.

Roar against those who take possession of things that do not belong to them.

Roar against those leaders of our country who promote and partake in sinful deeds in any measure.

Roar against the people who bear your Name and live ungodly lives.

Roar against those who have made a covenant in marriage and are unfaithful to their spouse...Lion Of Judah! Roar! (Taken partially from TSC Prayer Service) 

Sound The Alarm!

Joel 2:1, "Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand."

Everywhere I look, I see the hand of God's impending judgment upon our world. Wars, tyranny, civil unrest, spiritual discontent, oppression, death, disease, starvation, helplessness, hopelessness, and on we go. Jesus said it would be this way. He told His disciples in Matt. 24 that there would be wars and rumors of more wars. He said there would be famines, pestilence, earthquakes, but these things are only the beginning of sorrow. The worst is yet to come.

The call of Joel 2:1 is to awaken the people of Judah to the judgment of God hanging over their heads. God sought through Joel to correct their Godless living and return them in repentance to Jehovah. Joel sees the plague of drought and locusts as judgment for Judah's sins. He makes a direct correlation between sin and judgment.

We know from history that Jerusalem was destroyed along with the Temple of Solomon, the land was laid waste, and the people were carried away to Babylon in 587 BC by King Nebuchadnezzar. Judah suffered in captivity because of their unwillingness to heed the voice of God and return in repentance to Jehovah.

How can people believe that they can live anyway they choose and not reap the consequences of their choices? God created man higher than any other creature and gave us the unique quality of freedom of choice. However, we all must understand that there are consequences attached to each and every choice that we make.

So then, what is the answer to the present human condition? What shall we do in the face of overwhelming judgment? Repentance and restitution are the answer to the world’s fallen state. And like a watchman upon the wall, we are mandated to sound the alarm that judgment is coming. People, God's most precious creation, must be made aware that sin has consequences. Romans 6:23 tells us, "For the wages of sin is death..." We will reap what we sow. "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting," Gal. 6:7-8. Sound The Alarm! 

May We Remember? by Myra Boozer

JESUS is your Rock when everything begins to sink all around you.

HE is Your Bread when your pantry is empty.

HE is Your Home when you are evicted.

HE is Your Payment for a debt you cannot pay.

HE is Your Friend when all others forsake you.

HE is Your Light when darkness tries to hover over you.

He is Your Coach when you feel defeat has overcome you.

HE is Your Weapon when the enemy strikes.

HE is Your Joy in the time of great battle.

HE is Your Escape when the lions are hungry.

HE is Your Covering when all is stripped away.

HE is Your Passport when the time comes to leave.

HE is Your Key to the riches of Heaven.

"He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion," Psalm 111:4.

Oh, how quickly we can forget just what Jesus really means to us. When the storm has passed, and the sun begins to shine...May We REMEMBER the works of His Hands...this is time to remember and be thankful...today and always… 

Peace In Troubling Times!

Romans 15:13, “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”

We live in troubling times if all you see is the present conflict. Paul said, "If in this life only I have hope, I am of all men most miserable," 1Cor. 15:19. We must have hope beyond what we see. And we do have hope if we have put our faith in Jesus Christ. The child of God has nothing to fear. Actually, we should be excited that the last days' prophecies are being fulfilled and that "Jesus is coming soon..."

In the midst of all the turmoil everywhere, let us be thankful that Jesus has provided an escape. My prayer is that we, the Body of Christ, will reflect the glory of God in such a fashion that the unbelieving will see Christ and make the decision to follow Him. May the presence of the Holy Spirit cover you wherever you are and at all times! Peace In Troubling Times! 

Prayer For Today! by Myra Boozer

Father God, send your Light that we may walk in it.

Send your Truth that we may proclaim it from the rooftop.

Send your Power that all may see your Glory.

Send your Love that we may be refreshed, renewed, and redeemed.

Send your Mercy that we may be rescued from the evil one.

Send your Holiness that we may be washed clean.

Send your Deliverance that we may go free.

Send your Freedom that all will rejoice and dance in the streets.

Send your Son that we may be taken away in the twinkling of an eye...to be where He is, forevermore...Amen!

"Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace." Luke 1:78-79 

Jesus Christ Is Our Only Hope!

Matthew 7:24, “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.”

Evil and sin have come upon us as a mighty hurricane and are methodically destroying everything in their path. Destruction howls like the wind, undermining the very foundation of all that we admire and trust. Evil lurches out at the family, devouring the cohesion of love, trust, and communication, creating walls of isolation, disbelief, and contempt, and neutralizing the principles upon which our very existence is founded. Evil strikes at the heart of our societies and governing bodies. Darkness has crept into our educational systems and infected every level of governance, reaching the seat of our national and international governments.

The education of our children will invariably affect our nation and ultimately the world. What we teach in our homes, churches, schools, and universities will create the mindset for succeeding generations. The guiding principles of our forefathers are strategic and indispensable elements to the continued survival of this nation as we have known it. The ideals of love of God and country have sustained us in all conflicts throughout our history. If we allow the name of God to be maligned and degraded, we are setting the example for the next generation. If we allow the principles of personal freedom and liberty that this nation was founded upon to be diluted and discarded, we will pay the price in defeat and ruin. (continued) 

Are You In A Mess Today? by Myra Boozer

Well, God can turn that mess into a great MESSAGE, a message of deliverance! God does NOT always change your circumstances, but He can change YOU from the inside out. He can deliver you from your old self and make you a new creature in Him, one full of renewed HOPE and LIFE EVERLASTING.

God can change your heart, your thoughts, your desires, and your goals in life. He is a miracle-working God. He is a God of TRANSFORMATION. God can bring you out of the rubble and do a complete makeover, giving you the freedom you've never known. Real Freedom is the freedom you find in Christ Jesus. He can set your soul "FREE" even behind prison bars. You can be free even in the midst of persecution...Free in the midst of cancer...Free in the midst of poverty...Free in the midst of a bad marriage...Free in the midst of all hell coming against you.

THERE IS TRULY FREEDOM IN CHRIST JESUS. Psalms 91 is our "go-to chapter." Run to these great promises every day. They will bring you great HOPE and COMFORT. Psalms 91: 4, "He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler." He who redeems you will keep you. Psalms 91:15, "He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will DELIVER him and HONOR him. 16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my SALVATION." Allow Jesus Christ to deliver You from your Mess Today! 

Will You Hear His Voice?

Revelation 2:7, “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.”

God wants to prepare us for what is just ahead, but many cannot hear. Why can they not hear? They hear the words, only the words! The Gospel is being preached! The Holy Spirit is warning of end-time events! But they are listening with their ears. In Mark 8:18, Jesus said, "They have eyes to see but cannot see; they have ears to hear but cannot hear." Just as that generation that heard the message of Jesus rejected the truth of the Gospel, many will hear this message and reject it. What happened to that generation? They missed their opportunity for salvation and deliverance by their Messiah because their religion closed their spiritual eyes and ears. I fear that there are some today who will miss this great opportunity to see the unrestrained revelation of the rapturing Jesus because their religion has closed their eyes and ears to the Truth. Jesus is coming and soon. Are you ready? Are you ready to receive the Truth? Get ready and stay ready!

“Father God, Lord Jesus Christ, I ask YOU to prepare our hearts to receive what YOU have prepared for us in this hour. I ask that YOU remove any obstruction that would prevent us from receiving YOUR Revelation. Take this fresh lump of clay and begin to fashion anew the vessel of YOUR desire in us.” 

The Only Remedy For Sin Is Repentance! by Myra Boozer

“The fear of the Lord is to hate evil. Evil is running rampant in this world, but also in many churches. The toleration of sin is a mockery of God's holiness and majesty. It is a mockery of the shed blood of Jesus on the cross." This is from a post by David C. Cooke, “Quit Calling Sin a Mistake.” It is strong, powerful, and cuts to the heart of the matter, but it is Truth. The world is not hearing much truth these days.

Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Titus 2:11, "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. 15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.”

Better to know the truth than to believe a lie and be lost. Jesus’ own words in Luke 13:3, "Except ye repent ye shall all likewise perish." The Word of God has been so watered down! So much of the Word has NOT been preached to this generation, which has led us to where we are today. People just pick and choose whatever they want to believe because there is a smorgasbord of doctrine out there. There is ONLY one Way, and it is the BIBLE way! We are not free to change it to our liking!

We must seek God with an honest heart and know His Truth. That is what will SAVE us in the end, and time is running out! The clock is ticking, and the midnight hour is almost here. Just listen to the news. Prophecy is being fulfilled! We have a Savior who wants to make us pure and holy and acceptable in His sight. We must surrender to His call and walk in His approval if we want to go to heaven. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." We need to stop calling sin a mistake. The Only Remedy For Sin Is Repentance! 

The Old Life Will Pass Away!

2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.”

We must experience spiritual transformation! What God has purposed will require the power of the Holy Spirit to transform this fleshly tabernacle into a spiritual habitation for Himself. “Transformation is a complete or major change in someone's or something's appearance, form, etc.”

This process begins with the first step to salvation, which is repentance. Acts 3:19, “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.” Peter was addressing the Jewish unbelievers regarding their rejection and crucifixion of Jesus, their Messiah. This comes after the healing of the lame man at the gate of the temple. The people marveled at this act. However, Peter said, you did what you did through ignorance, but God revealed His coming through the mouth of the prophets and that Christ should suffer and die. Therefore, repent of your ignorance and sinful disobedience and be restored. Through this message, God was giving them another chance for redemption. Repentance is not only a change of mind but a change of heart brought about by the transforming power of the Holy Spirit in a penitent soul.

This transformation is initiated by the renewing of the mind. The Word states, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” Phil. 2:5. Have the mind of Christ rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, and continuing instant in prayer. Walk in this life in Divine communion with the Father, having continued access to His strength, power, wisdom, and deliverance.

We cannot think like the world thinks and walk like the world walks and expect to be a citizen of the Kingdom of God and, as such, walk in unrestricted communion with Him. That is why we must experience a change in our temporal mindset, a spiritual transformation brought about by the Holy Spirit in response to our obedience and submission to Him. We are regenerated by the Holy Spirit to walk in an intimate, holy, and unrestrained relationship with God. What a gift God has given to all who will believe His promise in Jesus Christ! The Old Life Will Pass Away!

 Psalm 100:5, “For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.”

MERCY is something we all want from God and from others! Mercy is a disposition to forgive or be kind. It is another Godly characteristic that is often lacking in worldly wisdom. But James 3:17 says that the wisdom from above is FULL of mercy, abundant in mercy. We know that mercy originates with God. Ephesians 2:4, "But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, by grace ye are saved."

Will You Make A Difference?

Luke 1:76, “And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways; 77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins, 78 Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, 79 To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”

Zechariah prophesied these words over his son, John, at the time of his dedication. John was the forerunner of Jesus Christ and, as such, was to carry the Light of God to a world filled with darkness. The Church, the Body of Christ, has the same responsibility in our world today. We “are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid,” Matt. 5:14. We are torch bearers of the Light, called to make a difference and bring the holy influence of God to impact our world!

Therefore, we are required to make some difficult choices if we are to change the direction of our nation and world. We must choose to love others as we do ourselves? We must choose to seek the well-being of others rather than promote our own selfish ambitions and desires. We must choose to embody God’s Truth in every thought, word, and action. We must choose to treat every relationship justly and impartially. What if we actually treated others like we want to be treated? Matt. 7:12, “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them:..”

We should be challenged as we reflect upon our past. Have we done our best to affect positive change for the Lord Jesus Christ? Are you pleased with the outcomes you have observed, or does God's Spirit within urge you to make a greater difference in the time ahead?

The challenge is before us: “Will we make a difference?” Are we willing to be shaken from our positions of safety and comfort and invest ourselves in addressing the woes of our community, our nation, and our world? The whole of creation is crying out for a change. That change will come through Divine intervention. God is the answer to all our issues and problems. Therefore, as Children of God and Followers of His Son Jesus Christ, we are thus compelled to seek God for His grace and tender mercies. We need to seek for and prepare to further engage in God’s Divine Intervention! It is there that we will truly Make A Difference! 

In The Time Of A Storm! Conclusion by Myra Boozer

Going through a storm is never comfortable or something we welcome, but it has its rewards. Yes, you will come out stronger than when you went into the horrible situation. You will know how to pray more than you've ever prayed. You will understand God’s ways are not our ways, but they are for our good. You will have more peace than before because you understand that contentment doesn't come from good circumstances or possessions but from having a pure relationship with the Lord. You will realize that you’re no longer burdened with having to figure out all the details of your life. He does that for you. You learn that joy does not come from feeling happy about situations, but from knowing that all is well with your soul.

The small wonders of His great creation will make you smile and rejoice in knowing he made everything with a purpose, a plan that includes you. You will learn how amazing God really is! He can take nothing and make something. Remember, He SPOKE this whole universe into existence. He makes the sun shine, and the world rotate on its axis. He is ever mindful of YOU, one of His greatest creations. “TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL THINE HEART; AND LEAN NOT UNTO THINE OWN UNDERSTANDING. IN ALL THY WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM, AND HE SHALL DIRECT THY PATHS,” Proverbs 3:6-7. A promise to never forget, especially In The Time Of A Storm! 

The Lord Is My Rock, My Fortress, My Deliverer!

Psalm 18:2, “The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.”

Jesus Christ prepares the table before us in the presence of the enemy. We shall eat and drink from His table and prevail before our enemy. Jesus is our strength and our victory. He leads us beside the still waters and restores our souls. He is our source, our strength, our redeemer, and in Him we can trust today and every day as Christ Jesus, our Lord. Thank you, God, for the assurance that only you can give!

The Lord is our Salvation! He established His position in Gethsemane. He came to die, but all flesh is appointed to death. But in Gethsemane, Jesus submitted to death. He chose to die as the Son of man to prove that He is the Son of God. The fleshly man would die, but the Spirit man would live on.

That is what happens when we meet Jesus at the cross. We submit to death. We choose death to the fleshly man so the Spirit man can live on. But we must go through our Gethsemane to get there. We must come to the end of ourselves and allow Christ to take charge of our lives. We are literally consenting to the death of the flesh so that we can experience life in the Spirit through Christ. 

Gal. 2:20, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Jesus is, “...my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.” The Lord Is Our Salvation! 

In The Time Of A Storm! by Myra Boozer

Are you in the midst of a trial and feel you are headed directly into a life-threatening storm? Do you feel that your world is about to fall apart and you have no idea where you're going to land? Has your foundation been shaken by the enemy, and your life seems to be twirling in the air, headed to the land of sorrow?

Many people are in circumstances that make them feel helpless and hopeless. They don't know who to trust, who to call, or who they can depend on to lend a helping hand. They are struggling with so much fear and anxiety about what their future may hold.

Sometimes things happen overnight, and we feel stunned by the inevitable changes on their way. Things are changing all over the world with governments, health care, employment, sickness, marriages, and a great moral decline, making people fear for the lives of their families. But, we must remember God never Changes!

Sometimes people lose everything they own and have to start over from the beginning. God has promised He would make a way for us. He has invited us to call on Him and to trust in His ability to take care of us. He has told us He would never leave us or forsake us, no matter how fierce our storm may become.

We must stand on His Word...His Promises...His Truth. His Wisdom is from everlasting to everlasting. He is not a man that He should lie. What He promises, He will perform. (continued) 

Thy Will Be Done In Earth As In Heaven!

Matt. 28:18, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

Christ has given the ministry of bringing in the Harvest to the Church. The Holy Spirit within us will equip and empower us to rise to the challenge in the midst of darkness and evil. The light shines brighter the greater the darkness. We have already entered into an extended time of sensual depravity and spiritual hypocrisy. The Body of Christ has an enormous task to reach the lost in the face of great opposition. The affront to the Gospel is growing stronger every day. The mere mention of the name of Jesus will ensure persecution. But God is greater! “Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world...” 1 John 4:4. 

God will use the Church to do great things in the name of Jesus. That is why Satan fights so hard against the message of Jesus. There is power in that name (Jesus)! Christ will reveal His power, His grace, and His glory through us as we submit to His leadership. “He will use the trying times ahead to discipline and train us. Do not resist. Do not question the Lord's WAY. Yield to Him and allow Him to do His work in you even during all this shaking as the Bride makes herself ready.” God has a plan. He will protect His Church and preserve His people. Blessed be the name of the Lord! Thy Will Be Done In Earth As In Heaven! 

Thy Kingdom Come! by Myra Boozer

Mark 1:15 “...The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”

I would love to feed all the hungry...wrap my arms around the broken and mend them. I would love to wipe the tears from all the lonely and crushed...mend the bruised and battered, release those who are in bondage by the enemy...set the captives free...hold all the unwanted babies...care for all the elderly who are forsaken...heal every sickness and diseased person on the face of the earth...stop every evil and depraved thought that enters the mind of the youth...I would guard them from all evil. I would mend every marriage and bring every family into unity with God... strengthen every person who shares the Word of God and give them HOPE of many souls being saved, delivered, and set free. I would love to do all this! I am limited, but JESUS is NOT! I can share JESUS, and He can do this for all who will REPENT and BELIEVE!

I WOULD SHUT THE MOUTH OF THE LIONS THAT ARE TRYING TO DEVOUR ALL WHO ARE GOOD AND RIGHTEOUS...I WOULD STOP ALL THE LIES AND CORRUPTION OF THE EVIL AND EGOTISTIC WHO ARE HUNGRY FOR STATUS IN THIS WORLD...I WOULD BIND EVERY EVIL SPIRIT THAT RAISES ITS UGLY HEAD AGAINST HUMANITY...I WOULD SHUT DOWN ALL THE PLACES THAT OFFER ENTICEMENT TO THOSE WHO ARE WEAK AND UNSTABLE...I WOULD STOP MURDER, HATE, AND EVERY ABOMINATION...I WOULD STOP ALL FALSE TEACHINGS AND DOCTRINES OF DEVILS...I WOULD BRING ABOUT A NEW WORLD WHERE THE LAMB WILL LAY DOWN WITH THE LION...I AM LIMITED! BUT, JESUS IS NOT! JESUS WILL DO ALL THIS WHEN HE COMES RIDING ON HIS WHITE HORSE WITH FIRE IN HIS EYES, WEARING MANY CROWNS...HIS NAME IS CALLED THE WORD OF GOD...HE SHALL RULE WITH A ROD OF IRON. HE WILL PUT EVERYTHING IN ITS PROPER PLACE...We are getting closer and closer to that DAY! Lord Jesus, Thy Kingdom Come!

Thy Will Be Done In Earth As In Heaven!

Matthew 6:10-13, “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven...thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever...”

The followers of Jesus expected Him to set up a literal ruling government, after which He would rule from the throne of David in Jerusalem. As we know, that has not happened yet! Christ pointed to a yet future time when that will actually take place, and His will is accomplished in earth as it is in heaven.

Paul wrote to the Church at Corinth, reminding them that “...the fashion of this world passeth away,” 1 Cor. 7:31. He was speaking concerning temporal attachments and being held captive by them. Though they are good in themselves, we are not to be constrained by them. We need to be free from any and all encumbrances that would restrain us from hearing and being obedient to the voice of Christ. Let us always follow the Lord Jesus closely, not to be guilty of following afar off. Our conformity to Him will be our sustaining power when all else has failed. The outward form of this world and everything in it will pass away.

Heb. 12:26, “...Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. 27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.” The words “Yet once more” point to the final change, which will initiate the removal of all that can pass away. The removal of created things that the things not shaken can remain...that is the Kingdom in us, not anything of material creation. It is to that end that Christ is preparing His Covenanted people for His return and when He will literally establish His Kingdom in the earth. Thy Will Be Done In Earth As In Heaven! (continued) 

Lord, Come And Sit Among Us! by Myra Boozer

Lord, would You please come and sit among us?

We long for more of You and Your Righteousness.

Rain down upon us Your loving kindness,

For we stand today at your mercy.

We need Your message of Truth and Grace.

Bring to us Your revelation of the New Day Dawning,

The Day of Your soon appearing, when You step out on the clouds to call us Home.

Open our eyes to a greater understanding of what it actually means to be Your People, a Chosen People, and a Royal Priesthood.

May we be ready when You descend from heaven with a shout, and with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God, calling us to come up to where You are.

Lord, our hearts are open to Your Spirit, and we long to be in Your presence. Please come and sit among us, refresh us, revive us, renew us, and restore us to our first love. You are coming for Your Bride, the one You Love and the one who loves YOU...Come And Sit Among Us! 

I Have Set Before You An Open Door!

Revelation 3:8, “I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. 9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. 10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.”

God has set the stage for His final events. Are we willing to sacrifice our time and energy to bring a Spiritual Awakening and a breaking forth of the Light of God? Are we willing to commit ourselves to the work of Christ so that we can have Restoration in our local churches and in our families?

Satan is angry because the Children of God would dare to rise up against him. He is releasing the powers of darkness in every public and private venue. But, Satan, the Blood of Jesus is against you! 1 John 4:1, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.”

The Body of Christ must rise up in the power and authority of Jesus Christ and proclaim victory in Jesus Name. Jesus said, “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;” Isaiah 61:1. He gave the same power to the Church in Matthew 28:18, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

We are challenged to receive the power of the Lord Jesus Christ in the person of the Holy Spirit and to GO and bind up the brokenhearted, bring liberty to the captives, open the prisons to them that are bound. “Behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it...” Go and go in the power of Jesus Name! Amen! 

Come Up Higher! by Myra Boozer

Lord Jesus, push back the darkness that is coming against every child of God. Lord, please help us to delight in your Light and your never-ending Love. Set our feet on a clear path and give our minds and hearts a deep understanding of who you are, our creator and the Father of all mankind! You love like no other. You are our constant friend who will stand by us when the whole world is sound asleep. You are never far but always near. You come, and call us to come up higher, high above the sad and the gloom that tries to hide your love from us.

You call for us all to open our eyes and see all your beauty. You call us to know you by name and recognize your loving voice. You call us to hold your hand, and know that you are our Protector. You pick us up and carry us when we can no longer walk on our own. You are the one who rescues us when the winds of evil blow across our path. You wipe our tears and wash our faces. You reassure us of who we are, and who YOU are, Our Loving Father. You will never leave us and never forsake us as You invite us to Come Up Higher! 

Lord, What Would You Have Us Do?

 Acts 9:6, “And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.”

Saul was on his way to Damascus with documents to imprison followers of Jesus Christ. This text recounts Saul’s response to his Divine Encounter with Jesus on the road that day. Saul had his own objective, but God had a different path planned for him. It took a Divine Revelation to change him and the direction he was going. Confronted with the Presence of Jesus Christ, his response was, “Lord, what would you have me do?” We would do well to seek God for the same attitude of submission that we could proclaim, “Lord Jesus, what would you have me do?

God, help us to yearn for Your Divine Presence and the Revelation of Your Truth! Lord Jesus, open our hearts, our minds, and our souls to hear Your voice today! We need a revelation of Your plan. We are not seeking an understanding by this mortal flesh. We are seeking Divine revelation of the Word of God. The same revelation that the Old Testament prophets experienced as they walked in obedience and depended upon the impartation of Your instruction and anointing to bring the relevant Word from God to the people of God. The same revelation that the New Testament apostles experienced as You called them out and set them apart to be Your voice for Your message to a world in crisis, lost, and without hope except for Jesus' sacrifice.

Holy Spirit, take charge of this mortal flesh! Lead us along the correct path to receiving God's revelation and understanding of His Word relevant to where we are today. We are not seeking insight built upon human understanding because that is empty and fruitless. The revelation of Your truth surpasses all human understanding and is far above this world's knowledge. The hope of our hearts and our souls' desire is to receive and impart Your truth. Your truth delivers the sin-sick soul, frees the shackled, and heals the wounded heart. Lord, revive Your Word afresh in our souls and lead us to those in need! Lead us Lord, and we will follow wherever You open up the door! Lord, What Would YOU Have Us Do?
