Many Are Called But Few Are Chosen! by Myra Boozer

God is looking for an Army, and many are satisfied to be Cheerleaders...Go God Go! Yes, Lord yes! You can do it, God! Or Go Pastor Go! You can do it, Pastor!

But God is saying to us, “Go Mighty Army...Yes Church Yes! You can do it, Church! I left the work for you to accomplish...Get into my Word, and the path will be clear. I didn't leave without giving you instructions and directions for the task at hand...The Harvest is Great, the time is short, the laborers are few, and many are weak...Take strength in my Power...I alone am the Power Source... don't look to yourselves.”

Sing the Battle Song, sing it loud and strong! "Like a Mighty Army moves the Church of God"..."Onward Christian Soldiers marching as to war with the cross of Jesus going on before..."

Arise, take up your cross...only those in the heat of the Battle are God’s true Warriors. Don't be a traitor; don't lay down your armor. The enemy is too close; you will not be spared. Time is swiftly passing, the end is getting near. Those who slumber and sleep will be left behind. Awake Church! The Army of God has a destiny...an appointed end.

The Wedding Supper is already in the making, the halls are lined with banners, and the Heavenly Host is getting in tune. The flowers are on the table, and the candles are being lit, the music is swelling, and the Bridegroom is ready, waiting for His Father to give the command, “Go and bring my children home.”

In my prayer time, some time back, I asked the Lord, "When are you coming?” In my heart, I heard, "Coming soon...not yet...I am going to call all I have chosen.” Matthew 22:14, "For many are called, but few are chosen.”

Extended reading… Matthew 6 and Luke 12

Put On The Whole Armor Of God!

Put on the whole armor of God so you can stand against every devious plan of Satan!

Eph. 6:10, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”

Many who once stood for Biblical principles and righteous living avoid confronting the societal pressures of our day. The progressive thinkers in our society demand that the Church embrace all people, all lifestyles, and all manner of behavior. In so doing, they are removing their covering of Holiness, Divine protection, and Divine intervention. They no longer wear the whole armor of God.

These so-called Christians stand naked before God and in this present spiritual battle. The weapons that Jesus gave for the victory of the Body of Christ are no longer available to them. Why? Because they have stripped away their covering, no longer desiring to be identified with Christ's teaching that the Church is to be separated from the world. 2 Cor. 6:17, “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.” They have removed their covering, and therefore, they stand powerless in the face of overwhelming darkness.

But not all churches or individuals have given up their role in the Body of Christ. There is a remnant of true believers who are seeking God's intervention into the affairs of men. God is answering their prayers. God is moving where believers are submissive and obedient. They access, and God delivers the “dunamis” of Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” That is Christ's promise!

The army of Christ is rising up. Rising up in the covering of Jesus Christ. That covering being the manifest presence of Christ in the Holy Ghost. If you have received since you believed, you carry the covering of Christ. The Holy Spirit is calling upon the Body of Christ to rise up in the power of that covering and do His work. What is that work? To proclaim the gospel for the salvation of souls. If we will accept His commission, we have His promise! The gates of hell cannot prevail against the Body of Christ. Why? Because we are secure in Christ's covering! We are dressed in God’s Armor and filled with His Holy Spirit!

There Is A War Going On! by Myra Boozer

One day, we are going to throw off this mortal man, this fleshly body we live in, and we will put on the immortal man, the one that never dies. But, until that time, we stay in a battle. Our fleshly man is warring against our spiritual man.

As Christians, we must keep the fleshly, carnal man under subjection. He is NOT to rule our life because our spiritual man is to guide us! We must surrender our thoughts, our plans, and our desires to Jesus. He will help us to make wise choices and decisions.

If we feed the carnal man all the things he desires, such as "do whatever feels good," "fit in with the crowd," "live it up while you can," "remember life is short and you deserve everything you can get." When these thoughts are accepted as the way to live, you make your carnal man to be the STRONG man.

If we feed the spiritual man what he desires, He will feast on God's word, His commandments, His Truth, and His Love. We will make sacrifices, give time to love others, and deny ourselves. We will speak when the Spirit says to speak and be silent when He says to be silent. We will yield ourselves to be a vessel unto honor.

We will live a life not for ourselves but for JESUS. He will be the STRONG man in our lives. You may think it hasn't been that important up till now. But the battle is getting stronger each day that passes. Your spirit man may have had a little strength, but it is time for MUCH strength. The carnal man is not even a candidate for this battle because it is a great Spiritual battle! This is a battle that will not be fought in the natural or physical body. It is definitely fought in the Spirit!

Romans 8:6, “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.” There Is A War Going On!

Return To The Source Of Your Life!

John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”

In the beginning, God was! Before anything, God was, and He created all things, including you and me. I feel that He is pulling us back to Himself as in 1 John 1:1, “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;” He has been with us from the beginning of this journey and He wants us to understand that it is through Him that we will finish. There is no other power, presence, or virtue sufficient to complete our assignment. He will magnify our efforts and ministry as He receives the honor and glory for the results.

The Holy Spirit is calling, “Come wrap yourself in the power of His presence and allow Him to perform in you His glorious works!” I am weak, but He is strong! If we allow Him to fully control our lives, we are made strong in our weakness because our weakness is God's strength. No enemy can stand against Him! There is no foe that He cannot overcome! No fortress can withstand Him, and no opposition that He cannot vanquish!

Come, come to Him now! Run to Him now and allow him to wrap you in His mantle of authority and shelter you from the storms ahead. I hear the rumbling in the distance, the sound of a mighty army moving into position. It is a well-prepared force; each warrior is in his place and prepared to do his duty. There is no fear in their number because they have been washed clean. Though their sins were as crimson, their raiment is white as snow. And there is one with them whose name no one can know, except that His eyes are a flaming fire, and He is clothed with a vesture dipped in blood, and His name is the Word of God. Out of His mouth comes a sharp sword to smite the nations and rule them with the rod of Truth, and He tramples the wine-press of the wrath of Almighty God. He has on His garment and on His thigh written the name, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. At His appearing, every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that JESUS IS LORD!

Pressing Into A New Season! by Myra Boozer

People need to know and understand that "We are made BY GOD and FOR GOD." When we come to realize THAT, everything takes on new meaning. BUT, then there are seasons in our lives, the ending of one and the beginning of another. Most of the time, there is a pause, a space in-between where we are in the lull, and we just need NEW direction and inspiration. We need a good cleaning of our perspective. A time to know what is IMPORTANT. A time to get things in order as God would have them. There is a time for all things, a time to sow and a time to reap. This calls for different tactics, a different approach. So, we must have this serious personal time with the Lord.

Sometimes people think that God has left them, during the lull, the space in between, but that is not so. This time is often difficult to adjust to. It sometimes appears to be a "valley." The valley's reputation causes many to run scared. The talk about being "down in the valley," "alone in the valley," “no sunshine in the valley.” This talk is damaging to those who are young in the Lord. They expect the worst, thinking they will never come out. It can be frightful, but don't lose HOPE.

It is time for the singing of a different song...the time of shedding off the old thoughts and taking on the new vision...But, also a time of finding great comfort and restoration. In the valley he restores our soul. He does not leave us there but when the time is fully come He will lead us out into the New Day...A NEW SEASON of our LIFE, stronger and better than before. He never forsakes us in the VALLEY. "...I will fear no evil, for thou art with me..," Psalm 23:4. Pressing into A New Season!

Call Unto The Lord And He Will Answer You!

Psalm 3:3, “But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. 4 I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. 5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.”

We need to be ready to leave where God is not and go to where God is! It is always important to know where we are and where God is. Where are we in relation to where God desires us to be? We need to press in and press through the opposition of the enemy into the good that God has for us and all that we may influence. We must Call Unto The Lord!

Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” God has “good” planned for those who will answer His call and follow Him in faith. He has a secured end or divine heritage. We need not question our finish if only we will heed the voice of God. He knows where He is going, and He goes before us and leads the way. John 10:4, “And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.” We must determine if we are going to follow Christ, whatever the cost! We must Call Unto The Lord!

Jeremiah 29:12, “Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.” Oh, to Call Unto The Lord our God, to seek His face and hear and see His answers! He promises to hear and respond (hearken). Our challenge is to clearly perceive His response. The Spirit of God is pushing back against the darkness that permeates this sinful world. God is calling His warriors to come alongside Him, join in the battle, and share His victory. He is calling us to our knees to intercede for a lost and dying world. Will you Call Unto The Lord?

Jeremiah 29:13, “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” God is always available, “...ye shall seek me, and find me...” He is always with us. But we must have a sense of His presence to recognize His voice and to understand what he is doing or planning to do. God's promise is that we will find Him when we search for Him with all our hearts.

The human condition requires the intervention of our creator. We always need God's assistance. The question is, “Do we really want his help?” Are we willing to relinquish complete control of our lives to Him? He knows the way we take (the path we should follow) and will direct our steps accordingly.

God has a plan for us, a plan for good and not evil. He has an expected (secured) finish for His faithful, obedient children. Lord, help us to search for you with all our hearts. Help us to walk in your manifest presence and to seek you with all our hearts! Amen. He compassionately entreats, pleads for us to Call Unto The Lord!

So Simple, Yet So Profound! by Myra Boozer

This is for anyone who might not yet know their purpose in life. Well, here is Good News! Read John 15:4, "Abide in me, and I in you." So simple, yet so deep and rich. In abiding, you seek, long for, thirst for, wait for, see, know, love, hear, and respond to. More abiding means more of God in your life, more of Him in your activities, thoughts, and desires, more of Him in your hopes and dreams.

When we really abide in His love, we feel so nourished, so cherished. We are His beloved child, a worthy heir. We are a child of the King, more than His creation, if we have surrendered our hearts to Him. Now abide! "As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide, in the vine, no more can ye, except ye abide in Me," John 15:4. My thoughts were inspired by Secrets of the Vine by Bruce Wilkinson.

Sometimes we get confused as to what God wants from us. I think this is it, and the rest will come as we keep running to Him. We understand completely what his plans are for our lives. Day by day, little by little, moment by moment, we just rest in Him and look for doors of opportunity that He places in our path. We follow His lead and stay close to Him. So Simple, Yet So Profound!

Release The Power Of God In You! Conclusion

(for part 1 see 4/7/26)

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the path that God has chosen for us to go where He is going. In fact, Jesus said in John 14:6, “…I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” Therefore, the Gospel is the only path that will be blessed by God and activate the power of God.

Paul declared in Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” The original word for “ashamed” comes from a root word that means to disfigure or dishonor. I think what Paul was saying is that he would not alter his presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There is the power of God for salvation, and for any other need we might have. If we alter the message, we alter access to the power!

Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Jesus said that He would send the Holy Ghost as a manifestation of His Power so that we could be witnesses to all the world. But witnesses of what? The Power in itself is not the witness Jesus spoke of. He said, “witnesses unto me.” He was talking about the message of Good News which He had so freely shared with the world. He was talking about the Gospel which He had taught and modeled before men!

This Power that Jesus talked about is to empower us to share the Gospel with the whole earth. The power of the Gospel delivers the sin-sick soul! The power of the Gospel brings freedom to the shackled and imprisoned! The power of the Gospel heals the wounded heart! The Power of God delivers the soul, mind, and body!

Are we willing to let God do the leading? Are we willing to go with God to where He is going? There lies the key to Release The Power Of God In You!

Detail Obsession! by Myra Boozer

Lord, may I never miss you with your instruction and direction for my life. May I sit at your feet and partake of your meal...the heavenly food that only your hands can prepare for me.

May I listen intently to your Spirit and receive healing not only for my body but also for my mind. May my life be touched by you, Jesus. I want to sing your Song, look forward to and love your Appearing, that is just on the horizon.

Your Truth and your Love sustain me, and nothing is ever as important as the time I surrender to sitting at your feet and feeling your love surround my every thought. You are my Love, my Joy, and my Peace.

I am learning to be a Mary and not a Martha. "Being a Martha is not bad, but taking it to the max is." When my thoughts of "detail obsession" try to overtake me, joy and peace slip through my hands. I desire to surrender to your call and bow at your feet. May I never miss your instructions and directions for my life. Lord, I want to be a Mary and not a Martha, because Mary chose the best part.

Luke 10:38, “Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word. 40 But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? Bid her therefore that she help me. 41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: 42 But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.”

Where He Leads, I Will Follow?

Opposition to the Gospel of Jesus Christ is becoming increasingly more intense. As the Body of Christ, we are experiencing Satanic attacks of greater intensity. We are preparing for all hell to break loose. Only God knows what is ahead! However, He has promised to walk with us. Heb. 13:5, “...for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” And, we want Him to walk with us wherever we go! But, how many of us will walk with Him wherever He goes? In the former, we seek God’s blessing on the path we have chosen. In the latter, we seek God’s leading and the path He has chosen. His blessings automatically follow. Sure, we want Him to walk with us, but what would our lives look like if we follow Him to where He is going?

God made a similar promise to Joshua as recorded in Joshua 1:5, “There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” God’s promise to Joshua provides a powerful example to those who would follow God to where He is going!

God had created the initiative to bring His people into this land of Canaan, where they could worship and follow Him without the intrusion of the customs and religions of other nations. For 40 years they had been on this journey, and now it was time for them to go in. It was God’s plan for Joshua to lead them in. Joshua had to decide to follow God where He was going. Joshua 1:2, “Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.”

Why did it take the children of Israel 40 years to get to Canaan? The obvious answer is that they just were not ready. God had to teach them, grow them, and mature them. Many died on the journey! But the core issue of all their problems was that they would not consent to let God do the leading. They would not follow God to where He was going! Their success or failure was based upon that very simple principle.

Are we so much different than they were? I submit to you today that we are not! Every need that exists among men can be addressed by the power of God’s presence. But we are forced to make the same decision that Joshua was confronted with. Are we willing to let God do the leading? Are we willing to go with God to where He is going? There lies the key to releasing the power of God in our lives! (continued)

Faithful Watchman? by Myra Boozer

It seems the weathermen are kinda like the prophets of old and today... warning us... telling us what is taking place and what is about to happen... telling us when conditions are favorable for "Disaster." When people heed their voice, they are usually safe. If not, they may suffer days of hardship or even death.

The prophet only knows in part and prophecies in part. You see, God is the Sovereign One. He is above all others, for He is God of heaven and earth. I do know that He makes decisions that are sometimes based on what people do. If people pray, He listens. If people repent, He forgives. If people seek restoration, He restores. When people humble themselves, He heals their land. If they don't, the only alternative is spiritual death.

I think the hardest job ever is to be a watchman on the wall, to be the one who has to give the Warning. "Trouble is coming! Wake up and get Ready, Jesus is Coming! Judgment is at the door." The watchman knows he must do his job and declare what he sees coming. He also knows it is ALL in the hands of our Sovereign God as to when these things take place and where.

Habakkuk 2:1-3, "I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."

Don't be afraid to stand your watch and share what God has shared with you from His Word. But be warned, 2 Peter 3:3-4, "Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation."

Don't grow weary in well doing. "Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee," I Timothy 4:16. Be a Faithful Watchman!

Eyes To See, Ears To Hear?

How many times in our struggle to discern the leadership of the Spirit are we overwhelmed by circumstances that obscure our vision of the Truth and interfere with our perception of God's revelation for us? We cannot afford to be so consumed with circumstances that we allow the enemy to steal the promises that God has given us.

We must always be aware that Christ is ever-present with us. In Luke 24, we have an example where Jesus was present with His disciples, but they failed to recognize Him. Luke 24:13, “And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs. 14And they talked together of all these things which had happened. 15And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.”

In this passage, Jesus joined with and began talking to two of His disciples as they journeyed on the road to Emmaus. They were expressing their concerns about the events surrounding Jesus' death. They had expected that He would be the one who would deliver Israel from the demeaning oppression of Roman domination and become the new King of Israel. Luke 24:21, “But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, today is the third day since these things were done.” Their hopes and dreams of a redeemed Israel had been destroyed when Jesus was taken and ultimately killed. Now, to add insult to injury, someone had stolen His body.

Luke 24:25, “Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: 26Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? 27And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.” The prophets had written in specific detail about the coming Messiah, His suffering, and His sacrifice. But the loss that these disciples had experienced blotted out their vision of God's promises.

As they sat together to partake of the evening meal, Jesus broke the bread and blessed it. Immediately, their eyes were opened, and they realized that it had been Jesus walking with them. Then, He vanished from their presence. They had been entertaining the HOPE of their lives, their Deliverer, their Salvation, their Miracle restored to life! However, they did not realize that they were walking with the Risen Christ until He opened their spiritual eyes.

Is it possible that we stand in the presence of our HOPE for life's journey without realizing it? Could it be that our SALVATION, our DELIVERANCE, our MIRACLE is presently walking with us, but we do not see? The WAY out, the DOOR is open, but our spiritual vision is obscured by the circumstances. We see only what is visible to the natural eyes when Jesus is orchestrating His plan in the spiritual realm. Lord, open the eyes of our HEARTS that we may see what You are doing in us. Help us to know that we do not walk this path alone and that You are with us in each and every step we take. You are our faithful companion! Lord, give us Eyes To See and Ears To Hear!

Do You Believe In The Power Of Jesus? by Myra Boozer

Mark 9:23, “Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.”

When we believe the Word of God, something happens to us. We are changed! We become a new person with a brand new perception of everything. We see things in a totally different way. For instance, when the Word speaks of life, we know that through Christ we not only have this life here on earth, but we can have Eternal Life with Him in heaven. When we see the word death, we know that nothing can separate us from Him, not even death. He lives in us, and we are alive in Him even when our physical body has given up this life. We are with Him, to live forever in the place He has gone to prepare for us.

When we believe that Jesus was crucified on the cross of Calvary for our sins...He died and was put in the tomb, but on the 3rd day He arose...we know and understand that we too will one day arise from the grave or be caught up together with Him in the clouds to be FOREVER with Him.

When we believe in the Power of Jesus to heal the sick, to raise the dead, to feed 5,000 with 5 loaves of bread, to open the blind eyes, to make the deaf to hear, to pay the taxes with a gold coin taken from a fishes mouth, to calm the storms by speaking to the waves, to make the lame man walk again. Wow, when we BELIEVE...when We REALLY believe...We should be able to REST assured that ALL will be well with us...that nothing touches our lives that He is not aware of or that He can't handle.

Because we believe in the POWER of JESUS, we can REST and REJOICE. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever...REJOICE AND AGAIN I SAY REJOICE...

The Gift Of Resurrection Power!

The promise of resurrection power is valid and secure because Jesus ensured that promise through the gift of His resurrection. He led the way before us and came forth from the grave exercising power over death, hell, and the grave. The way has been prepared for all who will look to Jesus and believe that the same Spirit that raised Him will also raise every believer.

1 Cor. 15:50, “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” We can embrace the power of His Resurrection. We can receive His Promise by His example and proceed with full assurance. When He comes, “the dead in Christ shall rise first...then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1Thess. 4:16-17.

God will have the last word. He will determine the way all this ends. We can know what our end will be. The Word of God has already declared the Victory and Glory of God! All Creation is declaring the Sovereignty and Majesty of God! All power and authority rest in His Hand! The future of the Believer is secure in His Hand because of His Gift Of Resurrection Power!

Victory! by Myra Boozer

Victory, I hear the sound of Victory, for it is on its way...

The music, the singing, the dancing in the streets...

It is getting closer, and my mind can't compete with its joy...

It is sweet and savory...It is lovely and admirable...

It is fresh and compelling...It is strong and vibrant...

For it demands a listener...It will not be overlooked or dispelled...

It is life...LIFE in Christ!

No other way for the Christian except VICTORY. SORROWS MAY LAST FOR THE NIGHT, BUT JOY COMES IN THE MORNING…

It's Friday, But Sunday Is Coming!

Luke 24:21, “But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, today is the third day since these things were done.”

The period of time from the crucifixion of Jesus to His resurrection was a trying time for His disciples. The disciples were dejected and depressed because they had believed that Jesus was the one to “have redeemed” Israel, but it was the third day since these things were done. Jesus had taught them that He would go to Jerusalem and there He would be killed. But He also taught them that He would be raised on the third day. Jesus had revealed the plan of God to them. However, they were so consumed with the dying part of the revelation that the enemy had stolen the most important part, the resurrection. This was the day of their salvation, redemption, and victory, but they could not see it...yet!

These disciples had gone through all the emotions of losing someone near and dear to their hearts. The first emotion was denial, the absolute disbelief that this could be happening to them. All the signs appeared to point to Jesus as the Messiah. How could they have been so wrong about Him? They had experienced the intrusion of life-altering doubt, a crippling doubt that would cause them to question all things previously discerned to be settled. How could they ever trust their emotions and discernment after suffering such a debilitating loss? They had dared to love and trust so deeply that their lives would be forever changed by this experience. God's plan was proceeding on schedule just as Jesus had prophesied. But they could not see it! The disciples were looking at the circumstances. How could they understand the revelation that Jesus was the Son of God and miss the prophecy of His death, burial, and resurrection?

The resurrection revelation was soon to come because this was the third day. The season had arrived, but the hour had not come. God's plan is always on schedule, but as Jesus' disciples found out, we must move into the realm of faith to preserve our convictions until the revelation comes.

The Body of Christ is suffering in a season of extreme trial and tribulation. “...though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:” 1 Peter 1:6. However, the hour of our deliverance is at hand. We must be so drawn to Him that when the circumstances say no to the revelation, His faith will arise in our hearts and preserve us until it is time for the fulfillment of the promise.

May God help us to have the spiritual fortitude to walk with Him until the hour of His revelation. 1 Thess. 4:16, “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” Sunday Is Coming!

The World Must Hear God's Truth! by Myra Boozer

2 Peter 2:17, “These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. 18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. 19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.”

Why do many churches compromise, neglect, forget, and even reject the Bible standard? They didn't start out that way, but the compromise began little by little. Slowly, the TRUTH was neglected and forgotten until, in many cases, it was completely REJECTED.

It truly breaks my heart to see so many falling away from THE TRUTH that was once delivered to the saints. This is a prominent SIGN of the last days. Many are following those who crept in unaware and diluted, watered down the teachings of Jesus Christ. Those who changed the meaning of what the Word actually says to fit their own lustful desires. Innocent people in search of TRUTH will blindly follow those who are ungodly, unholy, unrighteous, those speaking lies and taking advantage of people. We are warned in the Word to be aware of such people and have no part with them.

2 Peter chapter 2 speaks of these false prophets. People deserve TRUTH! TRUTH should be prevalent in every church preaching Jesus Christ because He said, “I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE,” John 24:6. Be aware...it is NOT being taught! People have followed their own ways and still operate under the guise of being "Christian” churches.

BUT know this, we have the WORD OF GOD! Get into the WORD! Study and know for yourself what God expects from you. Turn your life over to him, seek Him until you are filled with His Spirit. It takes His Spirit to understand His Word. Then listen to His voice. In all your ways acknowledge HIM, obey HIM. He said He would direct your paths and lead you in TRUTH...The World Must Hear God’s Truth!

The Soul Cries Out For Freedom!

Hebrews 12:1, “...let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.”

The soul cries out for freedom, freedom from sin’s influence and sin’s wages. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life. Disobedience is sin, and sin is a weight that paralyses our attempts to be right and live right.

We need to identify our struggles in life and decide that we will not entertain the influences of sin. And, neither can any person if he or she wants to truly be free. Sin is a weight! Its destructive power is like a malignant cancer with its invasive tentacles reaching into every fiber of the human body. The cancer must be identified and eradicated.

It is the work of the Holy Spirit to identify sin. It is the work of the same Holy Spirit to destroy the power of sin. He does that when we repent and walk in the light of the Word. He does that because of the power of the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ. Accept the saving grace of Christ and don’t look back. By faith in the finished work of the blood of Jesus, tell Satan that he has no hold in your life. Tell him he can no longer exert his influence in your life. You need to decide that he is not welcome, and he needs to feel the indignation of the Holy Spirit’s disapproval.

Submit yourself completely to the leadership of God, resist Satan’s influence, and he will flee from you. James 4:7, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.” In the preceding verses, James addresses the pride that exists in the fleshly heart. God will not receive our proud boasting, but if we will humble ourselves, He will give us His grace. Humble yourself before God, and He will lift you above your storm, and you will experience the Freedom your Soul Cries Out For!

Will You Hear? by Myra Boozer

Jesus is standing in the defense of all who will trust Him. He is our Divine protector against all evil. He is Alive, and He is Coming for all those who love Him (not casual love but love with a commitment and a covenant). We have no need to fear evil because Jesus is our bodyguard!

JESUS has conquered death, hell, and the grave. He won't let His Bride be destroyed by any enemy. He has made a way for us to have love, joy, and peace in the pavilion He has made for us. Even in the dark days, He is our HOPE, He is our Future, He is our Savior!

But we, as Ezekiel, need to hear "the word of the LORD came unto me, saying." We must be able to communicate with Christ because He is our great Intercessor to the Father. He is our daily guide, our very life's sustainer. How can we survive without talking to Him? We must know He is near and listening to our cries when we are facing daily battles with the enemy of our souls.

Lord, our greatest quest is to hear your voice and know your desire for us. Lord, help me to listen intently. I want to obey, but I must be still and quiet to hear you today. So much is going on in my mind and my heart. Lord, you can calm all the thoughts and direct my steps.

I will trust in you and sing your song. It may be low, very low this morning as the tears flow. But you understand, as I feel the needs of my family and friends heavy on my heart. Help me to just hand all these thoughts, prayers, and urgent needs to you and allow you to take care of each one of them. My job is to gather them one by one and bring them to you in Faith. You are the Healer! You are the Deliverer! You are the Heart Mender! You are the Peace Giver! You are the Lifter of our Heads! You, Lord, are the one who really cares for us. We belong to you because of the cross.

I pray this prayer for my family and all who need an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. May you learn to love the sound of God's voice in your ear. May you cultivate such a heart for Peace and a heart at Rest that you fully Trust your Father to lead you in the Way that you should go. May you lose your taste for the things that weaken you. May you develop a hunger and thirst for all God has for you. May you receive a fresh revelation of God's Love and Promises for you. You are a gifted treasure, a loved person, and you're called to impact the world in a way that only you can. May the Love of Christ constrain you and compel you in the days ahead. May He open your eyes to the new territory awaiting you. Will You Hear?

Jesus Will Win This War!

Galatians 6:9, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

Don’t grow “weary in well doing.” Persecutions and afflictions are synonymous with being a disciple of Christ. Actually, tests and trials are the anthem of the “born again.” Paul testified to the deliverance of Christ because Christ brought him through persecutions and afflictions. 2Tim. 3:10, “But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, 11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.”

The Lord Jesus delivered Paul out of them all. That was Paul’s testimony. Paul “endured” hardness (to suffer, be afflicted) as a good soldier of the Cross; therefore, he could instruct Timothy to do the same. 2 Tim. 2:2, “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. 3Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.”

Persecution will become more intense as we approach the coming of Jesus Christ and the consummation of all things. 2 Tim. 3:12, “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;”

Though the enemy rises up to interfere with our mission, our victory has already been secured. Jesus declared victory at Calvary when He embraced the role of His sacrifice. Psalm 22:14, “I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.” Jesus poured Himself out on the cross, and there is power in the blood of his sacrifice to empower us to finish His mission here.

Take heart, be encouraged, we’ve read the last chapter in His Book. Jesus Christ is victorious. Put your trust in Him. Walk in His strength. He will provide everything we need to successfully complete our mission. Jesus Will Win This War!

Isaiah 40:31, “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

I Long To See You Jesus! by Myra Boozer

I long to see You, Jesus, high and lifted up in Your Glory, in Your wealthy, prominent estate. You are rich in Royalty and flow with Grandeur. You are covered with the precious Anointing of Your Father, as he said, "This is my Beloved Son in whom I am well pleased." There is no name above Your Name because You are the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I long to See You, Jesus!

But first I saw You differently. I saw You as one cast down upon a stone, crushed as an olive. There, You gave forth the healing balm to all who believe in You.

I saw You being stricken with great ridicule, yet You remained humble and never lashed back.

I saw you being mocked and despised by those who had little or no regard for who You are. But you said not one word.

I saw You cast aside as a foreigner by those who once loved You and called You Lord, yet You still loved them.

I saw You forgotten and forsaken by those of Your own Household. You still called them Your people.

I saw You betrayed, stripped of Your robe and beaten without mercy, hung on an old rugged cross, mocked, ridiculed, and left to die. I felt it was all because of me and my sin. Yet, You could have called ten thousand angels to release You.

Yes, You were held a short season by those who were blinded by their doctrine, traditions, and selfish motives, those whom God allowed.

The same is happening today. Many are blind, and they do not see the evil doctrines and hideous acts they are condoning, pushing You completely out of their lives. Many are cold, heartless, and rebellious. You are still calling out to them in Your Mercy.

You are being crucified afresh, tortured by the heathen, and they see You not. You are the Son of God, but they are blind.

They give You no esteem for being who You are. They cast You down and consider You useless to them. They consider You powerless and weak, crumbling under their rejection. They seem to despise what You represent...Holiness...Truth...and Life Everlasting.

One day in the near future, "at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:10

Lord, I am captured by Your love for mankind. You suffered and died for all who would call on Your Name. You went through much agony for us to be with You one day. I see You Strong and Mighty...full of Righteousness...High and Lifted up...Coming in Splendor to receive unto Yourself Your chosen Ones...Those who call You Lord...Those who are willing to die for You if need be...I Long To See You, Jesus!

Power In The Holy Ghost To Serve God's Purpose! Conclusion

(for part 1 see 3/30/26)

Luke 4:2-13 gives the details of the confrontation of Jesus, the Son of Truth and the Deceiver, Satan. The grueling encounter continued for 40 days, and Satan used all his best tactics, but he had no power over the Son of Truth. All he could do was walk away from the battlefield in defeat. But, Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit! Luke 4:14, “And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.”

This classic battle has repeated itself every day since that time. The same scenario has played out in our lives. The Truth has prevailed, and the deceiver is defeated. That is God’s Plan!

After His departure, Jesus sent the Holy Ghost to lead and guide us into the fullness of our relationship with God. The fruit of that relationship will cause us to seek for and walk in God’s purpose for our lives. It is expedient that we experience the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit. It is equally important that we yield to His leading to recognize God’s purpose in us. It is not enough that our days are filled with “good” works, but our works must have their origin in God’s directive for us.

Power to serve God’s purpose only comes in the power of the Holy Ghost! That is why we must experience regeneration and the indwelling of the Holy Ghost. Submission and obedience to the Holy Spirit is the only way we have the Power To Serve God’s Purpose!

The Promise! by Myra Boozer

IF you are open to the SPIRIT of GOD, YOU will receive a spiritual move of the HOLY GHOST in YOUR Life TODAY! Maybe a filling or refilling of this promise! This is not a hack or a scam. This is a promise that was given by our Lord when he left this earth. He told us that He would give us another Comforter, that He would abide with us forever. John 14: 17, "Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you and shall be in you." John 14:26, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. 27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

Never before in my lifetime has the world needed to receive this message more than today. Many are afraid they are being hacked by God. They don't want to lose their position of being prominent, conspicuous = outstanding, renowned. They want to remain the leader in their lives! BUT, when one surrenders fully to the leading of the SPIRIT, they will be renewed, have their eyes opened, see clearly what God is directing for their life, and find the Peace that passes all understanding. There is more JOY in the baptism of the Holy Ghost than my words could ever tell you! As the Bible says, taste and see that the LORD IS GOOD, Psalm 38:4.

My prayer is that you will OPEN your heart and your mind to HIS SPIRIT TODAY! Read the book of John with an open mind and receive what the Spirit has to say...This is Your Promise!

Power In The Holy Ghost To Serve God's Purpose!

Romans 12:1, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

The first requirement that God expects of us is total and complete surrender to Him. The Apostle defines that here as presenting “your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God...” That is where we start! From there, we must allow the Word of God to have its perfect work in us by the power of the Holy Ghost. Be separate from the world and be changed by regeneration in the Holy Ghost. Why is that necessary? So we may discern what is the acceptable and perfect will of God. This transformation can only be performed by the Holy Ghost.

Immediately following His baptism by John the Baptist, Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by Satan. Matthew 4:1, “Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.” Jesus had just left Jordan, where He saw heaven open and the Spirit of God descended like a dove and lighted upon Him. Luke addresses the same event in Luke 4:1, “And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness.”

Jesus was full of the Holy Ghost and possessed the power to serve God’s purpose. Then came the beginning of the testing. Ryrie states that Satan’s intention was to make Christ sin to thwart God’s plan for the redemption of man by disqualifying the Savior. But this event was not for the benefit of Satan. The Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness, and God’s purpose was to prove His Son to be sinless and thus a worthy Savior. Ryrie states further that it is clear that Jesus was actually tempted, and it is equally clear that He was sinless. (continued)

Just Keep On Singing! by Myra Boozer

There is such freedom when we worship in Spirit and in Truth. Yes, FREEDOM! On April 23, 2014, a little boy named Willie Myrick was kidnapped but soon released. Why? Because Willie was a true worshiper. He just kept on singing from his heart when he was told to "shut up." Could we do the same as Willie?

There is power to break every chain the enemy could ever use against you. Power to bring deliverance and freedom! We need to remember this and follow Willie's example. We need to be strong and determined to worship and praise His Holy Name in the presence of our enemy! God is Greater than any foe that could ever come against us.

Little Willie Myrick sang "Every Praise" by Hezekiah Walker. The news release from Atlanta, Georgia stated, "Kidnapper releases 10-year-old who won't stop singing Gospel song." He sang for 3 hours. Praise God!

Just keep on singing! The enemy will turn you loose and let you go when your song is from a sincere heart and a strong relationship with Jesus Christ.

"O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation." Psalms 95:1

Lord Jesus, Capture Me!

Psalm 19:14, "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer."

Lord Jesus, today I ask you to capture my mind, my heart, and my soul. Keep me, the total me, safely in your hand. Empty this vessel of all substance except YOU. Fill me full with YOUR SPIRIT. Create fresh in me the passion, power and deliverance of your VISION! Engage my total self to procure the desire of your heart through me. Fill this emptiness with an outflow of living water, creating a worthy vessel overflowing with your love, compassion and generosity. Help me to feel the hurt of the precious lives that surround the place of my habitation. Flow through me to aid and comfort those who are bleeding. They are bleeding out the wonder of life because of the mortal wounds of the enemy. Help me to stop the bleeding that is draining them of the very life you give. Anoint me to bring the good tidings of YOUR Gospel to a broken world.

Oh! That your Holy Spirit in me would bind up the broken-hearted, those whose hearts have been shattered by the deceitful, insidious enemy of their soul. Lord, set at liberty those held captive, held captive by their past. Release them today from their broken dreams and failed plans. Cause them to look to YOU for their total deliverance and life in YOU. In the Name of Jesus, set them free! Break the chains and open the prisons for them that are bound. May the Holy Spirit invade the dominions of Satan with such power that the chains will disintegrate at His mere presence. May the presence of Almighty God be so powerful that the prison doors be hurled from their hinges and these eternal souls be forever set free.

Lord Jesus Christ, I pray this day for your anointing to fall heavy upon the Body of Christ, that we walk as you walked, talk as you talked and BE as YOU ARE the LIVING BREATH OF LIFE in an otherwise lifeless world. Lord, anoint us with the message of YOUR GOSPEL that all who will hear will accept YOUR LIFE and have that LIFE most ABUNDANT. Praise to our LIVING CHRIST, in JESUS NAME! Lord Jesus, Capture Me!

Know The Enemy! by Myra Boozer

So much unrest in our world today! So much talk about people having a RIGHT to freedom of speech...even to disrespect our Country and what we STAND for...the things that were once recognized by our country as moral and sacred...the things that our Country upholds because God and His Word say so. When they are aborted, cursed, rejected, denied, protested against...even to publicly disgracing the American Flag and National Anthem, all because of hatred and rebellion, how can this be for the good of a people, a country, a nation? How can this be about Freedom?

Some people are on a Campaign to destroy all Freedom because they want the right to destroy those who uphold Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. When the Lion comes to live in your home, he is there for one reason: to eat your family. Do we allow that because "everyone," even lawbreakers, should have free speech and be allowed to act out however they desire? When this is regarded as acceptable, the Enemy wins. We lose!

Tolerance of All actions becomes a prison to the people of a nation. Where is Freedom in that? Don't allow every thought and every campaign to win you over. Don't be a friend to the enemy! His character is to destroy you! Know your enemy! Know those who stir up strife and bitterness. Know those who call good evil and evil good. Know those who do not respect life, born or unborn. Know those who leave God out of the equation and expect you to do the same. Know those who have come to steal, kill, and destroy! THEY ARE THE ENEMY...WE MUST NOT GIVE RIGHTS TO THE ENEMY...Know The Enemy!

These Are Perilous Times! Conclusion

(for part 1 see 3/27/26)

2 Timothy 3:1, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be...3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”

Paul told Timothy that in the last days, perilous times would come, and then he detailed the conditions that would come to pass. He said that men would become “...Lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.” The Greek word used for “pleasure” is Philedonos. This word comes from two other words, philos and hedone. The first meaning “friend,” and the second meaning “pleasure, desires for pleasure and lust.” From this concept, the world has created Hedonism, which is the ethical theory that pleasure (in the sense of the satisfaction of desires) is the highest good and proper aim of human life. Paul was saying that in the last days, man’s pursuit of pleasure would be greater than his pursuit of God!

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” Having the resemblance of Christian service but without the spiritual dynamic of the Holy Spirit. Peter said, "These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest…" 2 Peter 2:17. The barrenness of this false religion mocks the thirsty soul by promising refreshment but can not deliver. Perhaps Jude states it best in vs.12-13, "These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear; clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever." Paul says from such turn away or have no part with them. They will drag you into outer darkness with them!

Paul has described the characteristics of our world in 2026. We are presently living in that time! We can look at each character trait, and we must admit that we are seeing that behavior in our society. Paul was prophesying about this time and the world we are living in, and he connected these conditions with the last days! In the face of such overwhelming evidence in this passage and others, along with the conditions and events happening all over the world, we must conclude that THESE ARE THE PERILOUS TIMES OF THE LAST DAYS!

Jesus Take Control! by Myra Boozer

There comes a time in all of our lives when the things we thought would happen just didn't happen for whatever reason. But God wants us to be still and know that He sees every tear and every challenge we have faced. He is telling us to "Be still, and know that I am God..." Psalm 46:10.

Being still is so very hard for a child, and sometimes, as adults, we get very anxious, acting like little children, wanting what we want, thinking we have everything figured out. We may think we have grown to maturity and think we have everything all figured out, but we have not! We must stand and look into the face of our great and mighty Maker and say woe is me, for I am still childish.

Take control of my life, Lord, and bring me to the place you want me to be, even though I may be kicking and rebelling all the time against you and your plan for my life. Yes, Lord, please pick me up and correct me, as I know you are a good Father and what you do will be for my own good. Times are changing fast, and I lose my way. I must have your supervision to reach the place you have prepared for me and my family. Change me Lord into your image and into the Christian adult you want me to be. In your Holy Righteous Name, I do humbly ask." Jesus, Take Control!

These Are Perilous Times!

2 Timothy 3:1, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”

Paul told Timothy that in the last days, perilous times would come. The original word for “last” is Eschatos, meaning “last in time or in place.” From this word is derived Eschatology, which relates to the end of the world or the events associated with it. Paul states that this period of the last days will be perilous times, hard to bear, troublesome, dangerous, harsh, fierce, and savage times. Then, he continues to characterize this period of the last days.

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy...” Paul is describing selfish people in this verse. Have you ever observed a more selfish and entitled generation? We are living in one of the most self-absorbed times in the history of mankind. It is hard to find people who are concerned about anyone else but themselves. Jesus said to love our neighbor as ourselves. People who are only focused on themselves do not have the capacity to love others. Consequently, the driving force in their lives is to gain for themselves, and it doesn’t matter who they hurt to achieve their goal.

Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good.” Without natural affection is used only twice in the New Testament. It is used here and in Romans 1:31. The term “affection” comes from the Greek astorgos, meaning unsociable, unloving, inhuman. Paul states that these characteristics will manifest themselves in the last days.

We are seeing these things manifest right before our eyes. It is without natural affection for a mother of an unborn child to abort that living, developing baby. It is without natural affection for two people of the same sex to enter into a sexual relationship. It is unsociable, inhuman, and perverted love according to God’s Holy Word. And when the followers of Jesus Christ take a stand for these Biblical Truths, the false accusers, the fierce and despisers of those that are good, go ballistic. The haters, the militant, the defiant instigate social disorder, destroying public and private property and even causing the death of the innocent. They are incontinent, without self-control, and intemperate! (continued)

Time To Be Very Still! by Myra Boozer

Colossians 3:15, "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body, and be ye thankful."

For quite a while now, a big squirrel has perched right on the top point of the building out back. He looks like an ornament, really; he looks frozen, not moving except for the wind blowing his fluffy tail. I wonder if he is angry about this weather, or maybe the stash he had for his family is depleted. I don't know, maybe he is confused by this weather. One moment, the sky is sprinkling snow on us, just like you would sprinkle confectioner's sugar on your French toast, then all of a sudden it stops, and the sun shines so bright. You think, "Wow, is it over, then it starts up again. That's the way of confusion, and it's something we all have at times. It is hard to deal with when your prayers are still not heard, and your heart is breaking for your loved ones. You begin to question God, “Why the delay?”

This is the time to be very still and very quiet and just wait, just like the squirrel perched on the highest point. God can soothe all our frustrations and calm our minds. We can rest in His presence and know He loves us, but we must remember that sometimes He allows us a little while of "feeling all alone and confused." Don't give up and don't complain. Rest in the fact that God has it all in His hands and in His time He will make all things beautiful...with no confusion. He brings Peace and Joy that will overflow in our hearts and bring assurance in every situation. Time To Be Very Still! (This was written some time ago, but is very fitting for today.)

The Dreams Of Life Refocused! Conclusion

(for part 1 see 3/25/26)

We must plan for the present with the end in view. We set our goals in life, always thinking of tomorrow or later. I realize that there are things in life that you must plan for. It is best to prepare for college and career, marriage and family, retirement, and final things. But, it is so very important to keep the finish in mind, always! A correct understanding of the final things in one's life will keep everything else in proper focus. Then we understand that our vision of the finish will determine how we respond to every relationship in life. No matter what decision we may face, the final things will bring a clear perspective to the matter. Ecc. 12:13, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”

Therefore, life's choices are governed by our vision of final things. We realize that we live our lives in the present tense. We are planning for tomorrow by the way we live today. That will not only affect our lives but also those who have been entrusted to our care and those who share our sphere of influence on this journey.

Now, getting back to my little gray squirrel (see post for 3/25/26). His creator has given him an innate sense to gather and store provisions. I am sure that what appeared to me to be a frantic search was normal for him. That's the way squirrels are because God created them that way. You and I are created to live on a much higher plane. If God gives an animal an innate sense of provision for its life, God has done so much more for us. The problem comes when we fail to communicate with Him. My little squirrel has an automatic system built into his consciousness for his provision. We are created higher than any other creature in God's creation. We were made for a relationship with God and each other. Our relationship requires communication. If we fail to communicate with God, we cannot receive instructions for our provision.

If we are listening to God, He will instruct us in His plan for us today. He will help us to understand that we live in His will today so that we are in His will tomorrow. If we follow Christ today, we have no need to worry about tomorrow. Our life and future is secure in the grace of Jesus Christ.

2 Tim. 4:7, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”

Treasures Of The Heart! by Myra Boozer

Proverbs 2:1, “My son, (or daughter) if you will receive my words and treasure my commandments within you, 2 Make your ear attentive to wisdom, incline your heart to understanding; 3 For if you cry for discernment, lift your voice for understanding; 4 If you seek her as silver and search for her as for hidden treasures; 5 Then you will discern the fear of the LORD and discover the knowledge of God.” NASB

The things that I love and hold dear to my heart are just borrowed, they're not mine at all... Jesus only let me use them to brighten my life...So remind me, remind me, dear Lord. The words of an old song hold true today. I have loved and held many things close to my heart. I have had so many blessings and material goods. No, I am not wealthy compared to some. But compared to others, I am. I have had my share of the comforts of life, not extravagant things but enjoyable things. Some have been very useful, some just pretty to look at, and some just plain and simple little treasures. But, things are just that, they are “Things.” Things can be replaced if lost or stolen. They are disposable and transferable. They are things.

Sometimes things get in the way of what is important. They can become too meaningful, taking our time and energy away from what really counts. I am learning to lay them down. Day by day, they are losing their value to me. I have been letting them go from my heart for some time now because I will not take them with me. They have served their purpose thus far, and I am very thankful for all I have been given to enjoy along the way.

I have always tried to keep my head straight as to how I spend our money. I have tried to be saving and practical, you know, the bargain hunter kind of person. But even at a bargain, the “things” you have can become a part of you. You become familiar with them, and they sometimes become “treasures.” They may not be worth much to anyone else but you. They are special to you.

Well, I have had lots of those special things hidden away in old hat boxes or the dresser drawers and in closets, even under the beds. Things I have saved from our only little boy, baby clothes, little cars, and things he saved through the years. Things that make you smile, like a costume I made him for his 1st grade play, pictures he drew of his house, family, and the neighbor's dog. The dog stayed at our house because he loved it so much. You know “treasures” that I don’t plan on throwing out, but my heart is letting go.

I think I understand the purpose is to let go. It isn’t wrong to have things, but it is wrong for things to have us. When what we have and what we do is all about things, and we just want to live on, and on, so we can secure and protect our treasures. We need to release them! No U-Hauls are going to heaven. I don’t want the tears that are wiped away from my eyes to be about the “things” I have accumulated. I will leave all that behind.

1 John 2:15, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world...” I am letting go! The greatest treasures I have are My precious Family, My Relationship with the Lord, and My Understanding of His Word. I celebrate the fact that He died, that I might live, and that has nothing to do with “things.” That is my greatest treasure! And, that my friend, I must hold on to forever and NEVER LET GO. “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also,” Matt. 6:21.

The Dreams Of Life Refocused!

Matthew 16:26, “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”

(I wrote this some time ago on a wet, dreary day, inspired by a little gray squirrel). As I sit looking out my window, I observe nature at work in my world. The rain is falling at a steady pace, and a gray squirrel is running from place to place, appearing to be searching for food he has stored. His work must continue whether sunshine or rain. No matter what the weather or circumstance each day brings the same responsibility and need for provision and survival.

We have a lot in common with my little squirrel. We rush at a hurried pace from place to place, searching for whatever we perceive to be the needs of life. And we do that for the entirety of our lives. We rush through our childhood, wishing that we were older so we could participate in the games of life. Whether it is to attain the age of 13 to be a teenager, or 16 to get a driver's license, on we go, experiencing the magic of age, graduating high school, and maybe college.

We hurry through those magical years, thinking that by “obtaining” our lives will be fulfilled. We find a mate, get married, and start a family. We are so very busy learning how to be a companion, parent, and provider, thinking that life will slow down at some point, and we can begin to enjoy who we are and what we do. So, we rush through the early family years thinking that when the children get older, or we land that perfect job, or we achieve this or that, all will be “better” and we can slow down and enjoy the life we have created.

And, before you know it, the children are all grown up, have chosen mates, and have started families of their own. Then we rush through the grandparent years, helping our children and grandchildren to do the same as we have done. We are rushing through time, achieving, thinking all along this journey that at some point we are going to slow down and enjoy the life we have created for ourselves and our families. However, we must plan for the present with the end in view. (continued)

Who Will Be Ready? by Myra Boozer

Hebrews 9:28, “So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”

"What kind of people must we be to be ready for the return of the Lord and to enter the kingdom of heaven with Him?" There are many answers to be given. The one that stays with me so much is...We must be watching and waiting for Him (carrying out His commission). He is coming for those who are looking for Him!

We must be set apart from this world and separated from its hold. We must be in a loving relationship with Jesus Christ to want to be with Him. Don't just use Him to "get out of " what is coming upon this world in the form of judgment because of sin and wickedness. Luke tells us, "Watch out! Don't let your hearts be dulled by carousing and drunkenness, and by the worries of this life. Don't let that day catch you unaware, like a trap. For that day will come upon everyone living on the earth. Keep alert at all times. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape these coming horrors and stand before the Son of Man," Luke 21:34-36 (NLT).

We must have ears to hear and recognize His voice when He gives us direction...also to hear the trumpet sound...not everyone will hear that sound. We must be ready to go with Him. The Word says to be alert, not dulled by careless living.

Do we love the Bridegroom? Are we laying aside every weight that would hinder us from being ready? Are we watching for His coming? The Truth about the Rapture gives us great incentive to deny worldliness and live holy and righteously today because He could come today.

Don't let anything sedate you. Stay watchful! This world can pull you in by its luring bait, which looks all pretty and innocent, but it is a trap and not easy to escape once you have bought into it. Jesus said, "And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things, entering in, choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful," Mark 4:19. 1 John 2:15 tells us to “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” Who Will Be Ready?

Harvest Of The Wicked!

Joel 3:13, “Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.”

In this chapter, Joel deals with the Judgments of God upon the wicked and disobedient. He addresses specifically God’s judgment upon the Gentile world for their treatment of Israel. Also, he addresses in a more general sense God’s judgment upon all wickedness and disobedience.

Joel 3:2, “I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.” Here, Joel identifies a specific place of God’s judgment, the valley of Jehoshaphat (which means “Yahweh judges”). His reference is probably to the campaign of Armageddon, which he addresses in detail in verses 9-17. In verse 13, he describes the harvest of the wicked and their resulting end in the same way one would describe the harvest of grapes used to fill the wine presses. The wicked are a harvest ripe for judgment. This is an ominous prophecy portraying the inescapable wages of the wicked.

As I think on the dreadful future of lost mankind, my heart is heavy with the task of reaching them with the Good News of salvation in Christ Jesus. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the answer to the present human condition. All men must hear the message of redemption and freedom in Christ. Jesus left the responsibility of delivering this message to the Body of Christ. The Body of Christ is commissioned to carry the message into all the world.

The lives of lost humanity are in our hands. Who will speak light in the midst of such gross darkness? Who will offer deliverance to these miserable souls? Who will go for Christ? Isaiah 6:8, “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” Let us go for the Harvest Of The Wicked!

Can You Hear The Rumbling? by Myra Boozer

How do you stop an avalanche? What is an avalanche? It is a large mass of loosened snow, earth, etc., sliding down a mountain, an overwhelming amount coming suddenly. You can't stop an avalanche! But you can hear the rumbling noise and get out of the way...possibly.

Are you hearing the noise of the overwhelming avalanche that is coming on this world? If not, then maybe we need to get very quiet and still and listen. The rumble is getting louder, but it seems our world just turns up its music of distraction (whatever it may be) to drown out the Sound of the coming disaster.

There is good news! Jesus is the rock! He is the fortress! He is the shelter in the time of a storm! Stand strong in Him today and know that His Father has EVERYTHING in His hands, including the avalanche that will come suddenly. Trust in the one who created Heaven and Earth and all that is in it! Can You Hear The Rumbling?

Who Left The Gate Open? Conclusion

(for part 1 see 3/22/26)

At present, we are in the battle of our lives as we stand against the evil that has been unleashed upon our world. What we are experiencing did not come about overnight. This has been in the making for decades. The Wolf, Satan, has moved quietly but intently among the flock, doing his treacherous work. But his work has taken on a new level of intensity because he knows he only has a short time to work.

There is a monstrous storm gathering and is even now forming into a catastrophic event. Those who can’t weather the storm will be broken off! There will be casualties in the ensuing conflict. We cannot allow ourselves to be driven by the winds of this world. We must know the TRUTH and stand upon the TRUTH. Ephesians 4:14, “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive.”

The days ahead will require that we have and maintain a real experience in the Lord Jesus Christ. Our faith in Him will be put to the test, and even now the battle has become more intense. You can feel it in your spirit! This is all an attack by Satan and his demons from hell. But, greater is He that lives within me than he that is in the world.

We must maintain a healthy connection to Jesus Christ. Jesus said Himself, “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing,” John 15:5. All our strength comes from Him. If our relationship in Christ remains vibrant and healthy, He will sustain us through any storm. Otherwise, the storm will break us, and we will be like so much discarded refuse! God have mercy upon us!

The Enemy Is At The Gate! by Myra Boozer

I believe the enemy is at the gate! He is like a roaring lion seeking to devour whomever he can. If anyone is thinking of becoming a warrior, IT IS TIME! If anyone is thinking of giving up, turning in your armor, backing out, and running scared, IT IS NOT THE TIME! We have too much at stake, our lives and the lives of those we love dearly. Who would not fight for those they love? Stand in the strength of the Lord. Let not your heart be troubled! For the child of God, the battle is almost over. The King is about to call the Warriors and all those who love Him to come up higher!

Who Left The Gate Open?

John 10:12, “But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.”

The hireling has left the door open and the wolf, Satan, has entered in and made havoc of the flock. However, we cannot continue down this path. We must rise up in the power of the Holy Spirit and take back what the enemy has stolen. You might ask, “What has he stolen?” He has taken our families and our homes. He has taken our schools and educational systems. From there, he has taken control of our local governments, state governments, national governments, and international governments. Over the period of the last few decades, Satan has moved God out of these institutions and governing bodies, and he almost does at will what he wants when he wants. Except for the “Restrainer!”

2 Thessalonians 2:6, “And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:”

God is still in control, and His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, is still restraining the full-blown takeover by Satan and his world of darkness. That time is coming and is quickly approaching, but God will determine when! (continued)

I Can Only Imagine! by Myra Boozer

Oh Lord, how my heart does sing when I hear Your people worship in song. It is a glorious feeling to be brought into Your presence. Your love captures us, and we are taken away by Your spirit, taken into the heavenly realms of rejoicing and praising Your Holy Name.

One day, we will stand in Your presence and bow at Your feet. We will be free from all of the thoughts that try to rush in and steal our admiration of YOU!

We will be without any restraints. We will have no hindrances. We will have no reservations. It will be a time of jubilation, a time of exaltation! What Joy will flood our mind, our body and our soul.

This mortal body cannot imagine what Glory we shall experience when we see You face to face. "Will we dance before you Jesus, or in awe of you be still?"

It will be an event like we have never experienced. So, we can only imagine what it will be like to stand before You in Your Glory.

I will continue to think on this day and prepare my heart to be still and just rest in the mystery of what Eternity will bring.

"Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance. In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted. For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted. For the LORD is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our King," Psalm 89:15-18.

Then Face To Face!

Often, as I look into the faces of my grandchildren, God’s gifts straight from heaven, I see in them the reflection of the face of God. Many times, I have met them just outside my front door as they came running up my walkway. Their faces were all aglow with joy, so happy to come to our house. With sweet smiles upon their faces and arms spread wide, they run into the arms of their anxiously awaiting Papa. Such an exchange of love and embrace is hard to describe in ordinary words. I am overwhelmed with thanksgiving that God has created such a wonder.

The relationships that we have here are but a prelude to what lies ahead for the children of God. 1 Cor. 13:12, “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.” As great as our revelation of God may be, our experience with God is veiled to some degree. Similar to Moses’ inability to experience the full impact of the majesty of God due to earthly constraints, there is a limit to our ability to fully entertain God. However, there is a time coming soon, and we shall see Him as He is. 1 John 3:2, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” Now we see in part and know in part, but at His appearing we shall behold and share in the unveiled glory of the risen Christ.

I envision in my mind the images of making our final journey to our heavenly home. When we arrive at our destination, I wonder how it will be. Will the experience be similar to that of my grandchildren? With our faces glowing with the redeeming grace of Jesus Christ, with smiles of redemption and arms spread wide, will we rush into the arms of our anxiously awaiting heavenly Father? 1 Cor. 2:9, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” We Can Only Imagine!
