Signs Of The Times! by Myra Boozer

One of the greatest signs we have in this day concerning the End Times is the evil and corrupt spirit that prevails in our world. It is so unified in setting up this new world order. An order without decency, truth, and justice. One filled with deceit and hypocrisy. Closer to the end it will be where only those who deny God and His ways will be accepted by this world system.

This system is being fueled by selfish individuals who want nothing to do with Truth or Righteousness. They are all about controlling and promoting what they think is acceptable. They want to make all the calls and say what is offensive to them. They don't want any part of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit or any person who professes Christ.

They don't want to retain God in their minds. So as a Christian, just your existence reminds them of who THEY actually are. They are made aware that God IS, and they will be judged unholy and unrighteous in His sight because of their choices unless they REPENT.

“Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin," Isaiah 30:1.

Jesus wants to be their Savior today. But He will definitely be their Judge one day. I Samuel 15:23, "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry." God have Mercy on this world. Truly, Signs Of The Times!

To The Pulling Down Of Strongholds!

2 Cor. 10:3, “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”

We are engaged in a great spiritual conflict! Fleshly or earthly instruments of war have no value in this conflict. The weapons of our warfare are spiritual and mighty through God for the destruction of Satanic strongholds.  We are empowered by the shed blood of Jesus Christ to engage and defeat the enemy of all souls, Satan. All souls belong to God. Jesus has purchased all who will come to Him and receive His deliverance. God declares in Ezekiel 18:4, “Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine:..” Somebody must deliver this message of Christ's deliverance. We must not delay our assignment to engage and defeat the enemy! We must not be negligent in this solemn mission!

We cannot win this spiritual conflict in our flesh! We already know that! Our carnal man has failed us and we cannot defeat Satan in our flesh. The weapons of this warfare must come from a higher plane. We must be empowered and instructed by the Lord God Almighty.

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;” Paul declares that our “weapons” are not in the flesh but “mighty” in the Spirit of God so that we may participate with Him in the destruction of the “strongholds” of Satan. This is a military phrase for the capture and destruction of fortresses. Ellicott states that Paul “speaks as if leading an attack on the strong defenses of the powers of evil...” Paul knew that His task was much larger than what he could perform. He knew that the Body of Christ would need the power of the Holy Spirit. He (Holy Spirit) will exercise His power to destroy the strongholds of Satan.

The 1^st Century Church was not successful in their mission by human power and authority. These Disciples of Christ did not rely on human wisdom or eloquence. Their source of power and strength was solely in Jesus Christ. God’s plan has not changed. The source of our power and strength must rest solely in Jesus Christ. And when it does, the fortresses of Satan will fall powerless in the presence of Almighty God! Bring it, Lord bring it! Help us all to die to everything that does not begin and end in You! To The Pulling Down Of Strongholds!

Distractions! by Myra Boozer

If you were at the Airport Terminal with your bags packed and your ticket in hand would you throw those things aside and grab a taxi and head back home to start a "makeover?" Would you tear down and build a bigger home and plant an orchard? Or start making plans for more training on how to build your career? Not really! Not if your mind and your heart were set, fixed, and determined to make the trip of your life. Say, a trip to your final destination, to the place that Jesus has gone to prepare for you.

Now mind you, we don’t know when the call will come to leave this earth but we can see all the signals are giving the go-ahead. Even if there is a delay at the airport, you don’t go back home. You stay sitting on ready because when the call is given you must be READY!

Are we getting Ready? Many distractions will come to us in many different forms. This is our great challenge, to NOT become entangled with the affairs of this life when we see that day fast approaching. Galatians 5:1, "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." The affairs of this world can become bondage to us, distracting us from our ultimate goal.

The call for all of God's people is about to happen. The call is about to be made for all those "Departing" this sinful world.  We are going HOME! 1Peter 4:7 "but the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer." We must be vigilant, alert, and listening for his call. Don't allow the sounds of Distractions to cause you to miss the Sound of His Coming...Be Ready! 

Transformation By The Holy Spirit!

Romans 12:2, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

This text says that we are transformed by the renewing of our minds by the Holy Spirit. Do not live according to the custom or pattern of this current age. We cannot follow the example of the world community and expect to draw near to God. The customs and behavior of our world system are repulsive to God. His command is, “Be ye holy; for I am holy” 1 Peter 1:16. And again in 2 Cor. 2:16, “And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,..”

Our standard is God's standard as modeled in the life and teaching of Jesus Christ. Jesus became the new template, the new and better way and He delivered the plan in person. He became the living example through which those desiring God are transformed and enter into a living personal relationship with Him.

This transformation is initiated by the renewing of the mind. The Word states, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” Phil. 2:5. Have the mind of Christ rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, and continuing instant in prayer. Walk in this life in Divine communion with the Father having continual access to His strength, power, wisdom, and deliverance. We cannot think like the world thinks and walk like the world walks and expect to be a citizen of the Kingdom of God. That is why we must experience a change in our temporal mindset, a spiritual transformation brought about by the Holy Ghost in response to our obedience and submission to Him. Thereby, we are restored to a level of communion that Adam experienced in the garden before his sin. We are regenerated by the Holy Spirit to walk in intimate, holy, and unrestrained relationship with God.

The result of our intimate union with God is to know His perfect will for our life. God has a good, acceptable, and perfect will for each life He has created. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” Jer. 29:11. The reason many people never fully understand and experience God's plan for them is they lack that intimacy with God. Because of the mercy and grace of the cross, God will meet us where we are. The redemptive power of Jesus' blood will reach into the deepest darkness to rescue anyone, anywhere. But, we must be willing by the Holy Spirit to leave the darkness behind and step fully into the illuminating power of His Word. By embracing His Truth and walking in obedience the door is thrown fully open for intimate communion and revelation to “prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Thank you Jesus!!!

Spiritual Slavery Is Real! by Myra Boozer

John 8:34, “Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin."

Spiritual slavery is real and cruel. Romans 5:19, “For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.” Because of Adam's disobedience, we were all born into sin. Because of Jesus' obedience, we can be set free. Freedom from this bondage is found in Jesus Christ. He has opened the door for all who will rise up and walk out in faith, believing what He did on the cross for us.

With this freedom comes revelation or understanding of what Paul was talking about in Romans 8:18, "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." Amen!

It's really not about us...it’s about Eternity! It's not about us in respect of what I want or think I may need. It is about my surrender to the one who created me and His plan to rescue me from Hell. It's not about how I feel or if things go my way or not. Remember we can't even begin to compare the sufferings of this present world against the Glory that will be revealed in us!

It's about enduring (whatever) til the end. It's about being delivered from the bonds of spiritual death. Freedom does not mean there are no struggles. It means we shall live and not die. We shall live forever with Him in His Kingdom.

Yes, spiritual slavery is real. Many are suffering and causing others to suffer because of its hold on them. This does not have to be! No one has to die a spiritual death because of sin and its bondage.

John 8:36, "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” 

Choose Eternal Life!

John 3:36, “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”

Life just happens! But, serving Jesus Christ requires deliberate action from us. Life will go on all around you and you don’t have to do a thing. You can sit and watch the sun rise and set, and not lift a finger to do anything but life will still go on. Babies are born and death takes others away but life goes on. Some people are thrilled to the heavens about life and others are depressed enough to die but life goes on.

Whether we choose to participate in life or not, life will continue to move forward, moving us into our future and our eternity. But, it does matter the choices each individual makes regarding their life. It is so important that we choose eternal life in Jesus Christ and take deliberate action to serve Him. Believe on Him as your Savior and move into your promised future.

Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”

Take advantage of the opportunities God gives you today to ensure that your eternity includes Him! Choose Eternal Life!

Time To Make A Change! by Myra Boozer

Jesus spoke openly to the world, in the synagogues, the temple, on the mountain, on the river banks, at the well, or in a home, wherever there was a need. He spoke to the known world during His thirty-three years on earth, especially the last three years. He spoke with boldness and authority given to Him by His Father. The call was given and many followed Him, although Jesus pointed out those who outwardly appeared righteous to men that within they were full of hypocrisy and iniquity. Those kinds of people were going about as usual, causing division and opposing the Truth of God's Word, and it is still happening today. People who have their eyes on other people instead of the Lord will be hindered and sometimes throw in the towel. That is not an excuse for not following the Lord, but many use it.

Today many hearts are closed with "Do not disturb signs" when it comes to receiving God's Word. It appears many are driven by society to deny that God even exists. Many are stubborn and rebellious rejecting the Holy Bible as the Word of God, denying that it is written by men as they were inspired by the Holy Ghost. Many are skeptics, doubting the virgin birth of Jesus and doubting that He arose from the dead. Others may say they believe, they just have no "POWER" to live a life of submission to the Lord. This is a reproach to the Name of Christ.

This world is getting further and further from the Truth of God's Word. The time is urgent for those who know anything about the Lord Jesus Christ to make a strong commitment. It is time to make an altar and carry everything to the Lord. If you feel you have been playing church, it is time to get serious. If you have been calling on the Lord only during 911 situations, it is time to refocus and rededicate your life. If you have put Jesus Christ on a shelf and just pull Him down when someone else is talking about Him, it is time to make a change.

Jesus is getting ready to split the Eastern Sky, to take His children home. He is coming for those that are looking for Him. He wants to be your constant friend, one who walks with you and talks with you. He wants to carry your burdens and lift you above the turmoil of this wicked world. He wants to set you free from the bonds of religion and have a personal relationship with you. Matt. 10:37, “He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. 39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.” Time To Make A Change!

Declare The Glory Of God! Conclusion

1 Chronicles 16:31, “Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The LORD reigneth.”

Thanks be to God who gives us victory because He reigns Sovereign over all Creation. “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord,” 1Cor. 15:57-58. There has no trial been given to man that the power of His Love and Grace cannot vanquish. We stand in the power of His Love. His Love for all mankind set Him on the cross. His Love for us brought Him forth from the grave and raised Him Victorious over death and hell. By His Grace, He extends to us the gift of His Resurrection. Believe on Him, accept His promise, and receive eternal life.

1 Cor. 15:50, “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” We can embrace the power of His Resurrection and receive His Promise by His example and proceed with full assurance that when He comes, “the dead in Christ shall rise first...then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1Thess. 4:16-17.

God will have the last word. He will determine the way all this ends. We can know what our end will be! The Word of God has already declared the Victory and Glory of God! All Creation is declaring the Sovereignty and Majesty of God! All power and authority rest in His Hand! The future of the Believer is secure in His Hand! I Will Declare The Glory Of God!!!

Victory, I hear the sound of Victory, for it is on its way...

The music, the singing, the dancing in the streets...

It is getting closer and my mind can't compete with its joy...

It is sweet and savory...It is lovely and admirable...

It is fresh and compelling...It is strong and vibrant...

For it demands a listener...It will not be overlooked or dispelled...

It is life...LIFE in Christ!

No other way for the Christian except VICTORY. SORROWS MAY LAST FOR THE NIGHT BUT JOY COMES IN THE MORNING… 

Declare The Glory Of God!

Psalm 19:1, “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. 2Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. 3There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. 4Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, 5Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. 6His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof. 7The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. 8The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. 9The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. 10More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.”

The heavens declare the glory of God. All nature proclaims the majesty of His Sovereignty. The mere combination of the elements of the universe attests to the magnificence of our Creator. Oh, that we had a thousand tongues to proclaim His majesty and glory to all generations. I will shout unto the Lord! I will call unto Him who is able to deliver from all the best-laid plans of the enemy. I will call unto Him from the mountain tops. I will call unto Him from the valley below. He will always hear my cry! He will always answer me!

Psalm 27:1, “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? 2When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. 3Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. 4One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple. 5For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. 6And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.”

I will not be consumed by the darkness of this world. God is the light of my salvation. He will lead me to that rock that is higher than I. His strength, His power, His Love, and His Grace are a shelter in time of the storm. The forces of darkness must bow low to the Sovereign Light of Glory. His light dispels all darkness. Walk in His Light and the darkness dissipates at the sheer magnitude of His Glory. Walk in His Light as all evil will bow before His Throne.

All Creation must declare the Glory of God and that includes You and Me! (continued)

Awake You That Sleep! by Myra Boozer

Ephesians 5:14, “...Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.”

America, my heart is grieved for you! You are going down a slippery slope with no ropes to pull you back. You have chosen this path. You have made your bed, now you will lie in it. You have turned away from God and the principles that you were founded upon.

You have allowed your children to become prideful and full of envy. You have allowed your leaders to lead in error. You have allowed your teachers to teach without authority (to teach things unfounded in the Word of God). You have allowed the egotistical (those of self-interest) to become your heroes. You have given the stage to the revolting and the limelight to the contemptuous (manifesting, feeling, or expressing deep hatred or disapproval). You have fallen asleep and the innocent are being murdered in front of your face. You are in the miry clay and you cannot get out. You have a voice but it is speaking perverse things.

What shall become of you, America? Until you repent and turn from your wicked way, you will go down in a great fall. Those in you who are godly, righteous people will be removed. At what point, I do not know but the clock is ticking and the midnight hour is almost here. The call today is for those who love God, Truth, and mankind, to Pray as never before. Prayer is our weapon against the evil that is sweeping over this land like a tsunami, destroying every good and decent thing in its path.

It is vital that we stay in the pavilion (presence) of the Lord Jesus. He is Our Refuge, Our Strong Tower, Our Hiding Place, Our Covering and Protection until He comes to take us away in the Rapture. America, you will all bow one day. Don't let it be too late! Philippians 2:10, "That at the name of Jesus EVERY knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth: 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Awake, You That Sleep! 

God Is Speaking To The Church!

It is imperative that believers hear and respond in obedience to the voice of God. Jesus declared in John 10:27, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:” God has not finished the revelation of His TRUTH. There is much that He desires to reveal to the Body of Christ, the Church of Christ. He is still speaking to submissive hearts and open minds. Therefore, we need desperately to experience His revelation in us and through us.

How does Christ want to implement His will in the Body and through individuals? His plan in us will always have the greater good of the Body in focus. When we, the Body, actively seek and follow His directions, Christ is exalted, His work in the Body is confirmed and members in the Body are vindicated. May God empower us to be actively engaged in His plan and purpose, NOW, TODAY, and EVERY DAY till we see His glorious return.

Jesus promised in John 10:28, “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30 I and my Father are one.” Let us purpose here and now to submit ourselves new and fresh to God's master plan. We must submit, not only for our own salvation and victory but also for the divine will and purpose of God in the earth. May we determine to allow Him to place us in the body where it pleases Him and fits His purpose!

In the Revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave to John, He concluded His exhortation to the churches with these sobering commands, Rev. 3:19, “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.” The promise is to those that will hear what the Spirit is saying to the Body of Christ! God Is Speaking To The Church! 

There Is A Storm On The Horizon! by Myra Boozer

The winds of false doctrine are building into a spiritual tornado. They are destroying every soul that has not built themselves up in the faith that was once delivered to the saints. The storm clouds gather as the gross darkness cannot hide any longer from this world. The Word tells us in Isaiah 60:2, "For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people..." As it feeds on the sinful nature that has so viciously spread through our land, it is building in momentum. It is rapidly moving in! Can you hear the distant thunder?

As a storm on the horizon, it was beautiful in its conception. The colors were vibrant and vivid. But, mixed with the Winds of False Doctrine, the spinning has begun and the loud sounds of horror have intertwined with the fierce lightning of Satan himself. Many have already been deceived and destroyed.

As they have gathered on the sea of time, the false teachers and preachers have devised their own way to get to God other than through His Son, Jesus Christ. They have tried to rebuke the winds of sorrow in their own carnal voice and have seen no results. Speaking great mysteries and giving interpretations from their own carnal voice, they have produced many different answers for our day. They build each other up in the false security that God is with them when He is not.

They teach the multitudes that they are to have all their mind can conceive in riches and wealth. They teach them that a loving God has forgiven all the sins committed in the past, present, and future. NOT SO! All sin must be repented of, as the Holy Spirit convicts the heart.

They are heaping judgment upon themselves and all who are listening to them. The book of Jude tells us we may save some with fear pulling them out of the fire. This is my sole purpose for writing this post! Maybe someone will begin to read and study the Word for themselves and not be destroyed by this great storm of DECEPTION that is sweeping over the world. There Is A Storm On The Horizon!

Discerning Light From Darkness By The Holy Ghost!

John 14:23, “Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him… 25These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. 26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

As followers of Jesus Christ, we will suffer persecution and experience opposition at the hand of Satan, the enemy of our souls. In Ephesians 6:10, we are admonished to “be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” Our strength and success are dependent upon our obedience to the Word of God and submission to the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus became the living Word among us and indwells this mortal body by the Holy Ghost. The world hated Him and they will hate all who follow Him. Matthew 10:22, “And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.”

In a world that is filled with darkness, Jesus has made provision for us to discern the light from the darkness. He promised His disciples that after His departure He would send the Holy Ghost to be our resident guide, adviser, and protector. When He has come He will teach you all things necessary for your success and cause you to remember all that He has already taught you. Jesus has taught us to discern light from darkness by the power of the Holy Ghost within us.

It is imperative that we know light from the darkness. That is a very simple statement but I find it to be one of the greatest needs among Christians today. Among all the subjects that we have written about over the past few years, the response to subjects about truth and light has been an overwhelming 3 to 1 over any other single theme. People want to know the truth. They want to be able to discern Light from Darkness. It is crucial in these last days and the indwelling and work of the Holy Ghost is indispensable in this endeavor! 

Go Light Your World! by Myra Boozer

Dear Lord, I ask that your LIGHT shine in the darkness today. Many are struggling and can't find their way. They seem to have no one to point them to you. They are so alone and lost without your guiding light.

Lord, I will be a candle if you will trim my wick and set my soul on fire. My heart is willing and my compassion is growing stronger for people who are covered in such deep deep darkness. I know one candle isn't much for the multitudes. But, my heart cries out to help! If it is for just one person, that person is so WORTH SAVING!

May I share your LIGHT in this dark and lonely world of struggling, helpless souls? You Lord can make their path clear when they see your ever Guiding Light...even if it is from one small candle…

From one who's so glad I found YOUR LIGHT… 

Light In The Darkness!

In Acts 13 we read about the beginning of Paul’s missionary ministry. The leading and anointing of the Holy Ghost was an integral part of Paul’s ministry and gave him the advantage of discerning Light from Darkness. Acts 13:2, “As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. 3 And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. 4 So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.” Notice that it was the Holy Ghost that made the selection and the Holy Ghost that gave the assignment. We must lay our plans aside and petition God to make us part of His Plan.

They preached the Word of God in the synagogues of the Jews. A certain deputy of the country called for Paul and Barnabas desiring to hear the Word of God. A certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Bar-jesus opposed them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith. Acts 13:9, “Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, 10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord? 11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand. 12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.” The reality of this passage is that those who oppose Jesus Christ really do walk in darkness. The decree of the Holy Ghost brought to fruition the physical reality that the sorcerer was truly walking in spiritual darkness.

The Holy Spirit discerned the “darkness” and called it out. In the power of the Spirit, the darkness was defined and confined. There is no further mention of Bar-jesus in the Bible. The lesson to be learned here is that the judgment of God is sure and final. This was God’s Plan! The Holy Ghost did the choosing and gave the assignment. Therefore, Paul’s mission was under the mantel of Christ and without limitation. As disciples of Jesus Christ, we must walk in the Light as the Holy Ghost leads and move in the anointing of His assignment. He will discern the Darkness, Define, and Confine it. By the power of the Spirit, the power of darkness will be revealed and deposed! By The Holy Ghost, we will Discern Light From The Darkness!

In The Name Of Jesus! If You Ask Anything!

John 14:12, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”

There is power in the name of Jesus! There is power to break every chain. Power to live for Christ and walk in unbridled victory. Free to flow in the Spirit and experience His presence from glory to glory. He leads us up, higher and higher into His Majesty. For having been exposed to His glorious Light we will never be the same.

We are changed in His presence. We can never be the same once His glory has shown upon us. We are changed forever and He has planted such a desire to reach higher. His presence is so addictive that no sooner than you walk away, you have an unquenchable need to return.

And we can return again and again. There is no limit to the glory we can experience in His presence. Simply come to Him in obedience and submission and He will carry you to heights previously unknown. He will reveal to you truths you haven't understood and emotions you've never experienced. But most of all He will reveal Himself to you and in you so that the world around you can see Him and be touched by Him, “that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” 

You Can Know The Truth! by Myra Boozer

What should we be concerned about TODAY? Truth is a major issue that keeps getting twisted into lies and more lies. Some things just get swept under the rug while others continue to be proclaimed from the rooftop. The bottom line is, we need Truth to prevail. The more we seek Truth, the more we can recognize lies when they are presented.

There is so much deception in our world. Everyone seems to have their own song and dance routine. They dance to a different beat. Sometimes that beat is unsure, not clear, just not accurate, but because it is their drum and their inspiration they continue to beat.

It is time for us to find the Master Conductor and fall at His feet, so that we may receive the correct notes and play the sound that the world needs to hear.  No, everyone does not play the same notes and sometimes everyone stops for that loud sound of the cymbal. In the scope of a beautiful masterpiece, everyone follows the conductor.

No one should be alone to play whatever sound he desires to play.  All are united to play what the Master says to play. It is time to get alone with the Master and know what He wants from us. As the Church, we need to be playing His beautiful symphony. That is not what we are hearing, but if every Child of God will listen to the Conductor it can happen quickly.

There is a change in the air for the people of God.  God is stirring hearts and bringing us into the unity of prayer. Prayer for repentance as a whole and prayer for the lost because our time is coming to a close. Our open window may be closing soon and there are still many who are not saved. It is time to pray! When we pray in fervency the windows of Heaven open and prayers will be answered...the Truth will be heard, souls will be saved, the work will be done, and the Bridegroom will come for His Bride! You Can Know The Truth!

Are You Searching For The Truth?

Proverbs 21:2, “Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.”

I have noticed in my latter years that there is one thought that continues to present itself in my walk with God. “Live every day of your life with the end in mind.” Our vision of the end will invariably determine the subject of our focus on each and every day of our lives. With that in mind, I continue to reach for the Truth of God to envelope my soul and deliver me from this house of flesh.

Are you searching for the Truth or are you looking for something that will fit your list of Religious principles? Solomon stated that every “man is right in his own eyes.” Our human tendency is to justify what we want. We want so badly to think that what we believe is the Truth, consequently, we try to make the Scriptures fit our lives. The correct approach is to make our lives fit the Scriptures. When we attempt to re-make God’s standard to fit our ideals and values, we drastically diminish the power of God’s Word, limiting it to only what we receive and understand.

Is it the Truth because we comprehend it to be so? Truth is Truth regardless of whether we receive it or understand it. Truth is not based on our perception, acceptance, or denial. Truth is the very character of our Creator. God is Truth! And His character is revealed to us through the Scriptures and in the persons of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Jesus stated in John 14:6, “...I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Jesus promised His disciples an Advocate to come after His departure and declared that Advocate to be the Spirit of Truth. John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”

If we want to understand Truth, we must cultivate a personal relationship with the one who is Truth. To receive and understand Truth is to receive the Lord Jesus Christ, submit to His counsel, be obedient to His discipline, and walk in total surrender to Him. If we will continue to walk in obedience and seek the revelation of God’s Word, we will move forward in Truth. (continued)

Lord, You Are My Strength! by Myra Boozer

Psalm 22:19, “But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.”

Father God, I come to You in humble adoration for what You mean to me. You are my strength like no other. When the world comes crumbling down in front of me, when the enemy tries to flood my thinking with fear about the day in which we live, You Lord, come and hold me in Your arms of great comfort. You soothe all my doubts and calm all my fears. You hold my head up so I can breathe.

Lord, You know where we are and what is going on in this world. It does not take You by surprise because You have been here already. You are the beginning and the end! You are the everlasting and the glorious future.

I stand in awe of Your great power, Your love, and Your mercy that surrounds me. I know You abide in this place. I feel Your Spirit upon me. I am honored to live my life in Your presence and have Your strong arm of protection against the enemy. I am pleased to write Your Words when they overflow the banks of my mind. I am humbled to pray for the sick as compassion arises in my heart. I am blessed by Your voice that speaks unction and direction. I am honored to be called Your Child!

Today, I am asking for a greater anointing to speak to the Nations, to speak to the world around me. I want to speak to those who have the desire to know You, to hear what You are saying through what You give me to write. But, I need the strength of Your anointing! I am helpless, I am empty, I am nothing without Your anointing! When You come and sit with me, speaking directly to my heart, something arises and I feel such love and compassion for the world and those around me that need You. Lord, we really need You, not for the moment but for always and forever!

Lord, our babies are being destroyed before their time. Our youth are being shot down by those whose minds are confused and troubled, those who have not found faith or strength from family, friends, or this society. Our families are broken because of sin, many because of sinful sexual desires that have left the family broken without a mother or a father. This has caused so much anger and hopelessness. Many children are turning to drugs, sex, violence, and a life of crime.

Our government is in a heap of turmoil because of lies and deceit. Nothing new, just the same old politics that have gone deeper and deeper into corruption. This is causing great disturbance, with many harsh and hateful words being spoken even among friends and families.

Our world is struggling because there is such division and unrest among people. Many no longer want to be a people "Under God." They no longer want to recognize You in our schools or our society. They have cast You out and are looking to their own devious ways of doing things, which brings persecution to your followers.

Today my prayer is that You will send a strong desire in the heart of every believer to ARISE with Your power and declare Your Word to a lost and troubled world. Arise and declare a Word for the hour and an Anointing to break the bondage that has such a great hold on the multitudes. Luke 1:79, “To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.” Lord, You Are My Strength!

God Will Make A Way!

Tonight, as I contemplate the conditions that exist in our world, I am reminded of how really important it is to believe in a living God who wants to be intimately involved in my life. And, He wants to be involved in your life in the same way. Actually, He desires to be involved in every detail of each and every life on the face of the earth.

Presently, people are dealing with very difficult situations and circumstances all over the world. Humanity is in a crisis. We have come to a place where we need to know the solution to our dilemma. We need answers to stabilize this volatile environment.

I don’t know how you are feeling right now but I can imagine the varying levels of fear, confusion, frustration, and helplessness that many are experiencing. Our future doesn’t appear too promising if you only look at the current conditions in our world. But there is a solution to each and every problem that we face. God will make a way! Jesus Christ is the Way Maker for every person, community, and nation that will call to Him for help!

A good example recounted in the Bible comes to mind. You find the story in the book of Jonah about the great city of Nineveh. God was preparing to destroy the city because of their wickedness. However, God sent Jonah there to warn them. Jonah went throughout the city, from one end to the other telling them that God would destroy the entire city except they repent of their evil ways.

When the King heard Jonah’s warning he declared a time of prayer. He put off his royal garments and clothed himself in sackcloth, covered his head with ashes, and knelt before God in repentance. The King led the way and the whole city repented before the Lord God. God spared the city!

During the time of our present crisis, we are being admonished to Pray. It is truly time to pray, falling on our knees, crying out to God for our deliverance. 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

God has brought us to this place to give opportunity for all who will call upon His Name to be saved. This is the dividing line and all who have the desire to know God will move toward Him. But, those who don’t want to have any part with Him will move further into darkness. It’s time to choose! It’s Time To Pray!

What Should We Be Doing Until The Lord Returns? by Myra Boozer

In Matthew, the 25th chapter, Jesus gives parables that could help us to know what should be the priority for the child of God. First, He tells of ten virgins and at midnight the cry was made, "Behold the Bridegroom cometh." He tells us five were wise and five were foolish. Now what was it that made them different? It was their lack of oil. Five ran out and asked to borrow from those five who had oil. The wise had to answer NO. This shows us we cannot give away what we have. Each person has to receive for themselves. When they couldn't borrow they had to leave to find more oil and the bridegroom came while they were gone.

In verse 10, "And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were READY went in with him to the marriage: and the door was SHUT." This makes me think of Noah and the Ark. God shut the door to the Ark when it was time and that was all that went in. There will be no allowances for the procrastinators, the lazy, the apathetic, or the careless.

We must be WISE and be filled with His Spirit, as the oil represents the Holy Spirit. We must be watching and waiting. We must stay the course! No playing around, running here and there, doing other things that can so easily beset us. The wise virgins stayed near the door and when the bridegroom came they were READY. So, we must constantly be Watching for His Return and Listening for His sound!

Matt. 25:13, "WATCH therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh." My heart says it won't be long until we hear the sound. Lord help us to be full and overflowing with Your Holy Spirit, Ready to leave when You Return!

Cast All Your Cares Upon Jesus!

2 Tim. 3:1, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy.”

Paul goes on in the succeeding verses to delineate the characteristics of these last days. I believe Paul is describing the self-absorbed attitude that exists in the world today.  It is hard to find people who are more concerned about others rather than themselves. Jesus said to love our neighbor as ourselves. People who are totally focused on themselves do not have the capacity to love others. Consequently, the driving force in their lives is to gain for themselves.

When we are so self-focused, we can miss the greater plan that God has for all His creation. It is difficult for us to understand the needs of those around us. Our role in God's plan is to affect our world for the cause of Christ. If my attention is given fully to the issues of my relationships and the responsibilities of daily care and provision, then there is little room for others. That is why the Lord invites us to cast all our concerns on Him and exercise our faith in His promises for us. Satan will attempt to distract us from our mission but the Lord will sustain us and keep us on course.

1 Peter 5:6, “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

“The word for 'careth' in Greek is 'mel'-o' which means 'to care about.' It is a verb which means it is an action word. Jesus understands our needs and cares to the extent that our needs move Him to action.” He stands ready to intervene at the very moment we need Him!

If we will follow the Lord Jesus Christ, He will see to it that our needs are met. We must place our total faith in His promise to do that. Therefore, we are not distracted by the menial tasks of life and can prepare for this spiritual war with our adversary, Satan. Peter says, “Whom resist stedfast in the faith...” We must resist Satan while remaining steadfast in the faith that our provision and sustenance are in Christ’s hands. Jesus invites us to give to Him all our cares, the things that bring anxiety and cause us to be distracted from His plan. He cares for each one of us and will move into action if we will TRUST Him! Cast All Your Cares Upon Jesus!

One Thing I Have Desired Of The Lord! by Myra Boozer

David said in Psalm 27:4, "One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple."

What are we seeking today? What are we looking for? Matthew 7:7, “...seek, and ye shall find...” David wasn't talking about staying in the temple every day but he was talking about dwelling in God’s presence “all the days.” Psalm 27:5 says, “For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret of His tabernacle shall he hide me; He shall set me up upon a rock." We find Divine refuge in Psalm 31:20, and a hiding place...a place of safety, yes in the time of trouble. He goes on to Psalm 27:8, “When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.” So, many times we seek His hand, which is His provision, but He told David, “seek my face,”...His person...who He is. When we truly seek Him, we live in His house, His pavilion, His tabernacle, and His presence. When we dwell there we are set upon a rock...a firm foundation. The very best thing we can seek is the face of the Lord. Oh! To know Him...to really know Him...to cherish Him like we cherish nothing else.

When you love someone you want to share life with them. You don't just visit them on Sunday. They become part of your everyday life. The Lord doesn't want us out on the porch. He wants us to come on in and dwell (live) with Him! One Thing Have I Desired Of The Lord!

Our Faith In God Remains Steadfast!

2 Chronicles 20:20, “And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. 21And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever. 22And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. 23For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.”

The enemies of Judah rose up against her. Through prayer and supplication, King Jehoshaphat and the people petitioned God for His intervention. They placed their faith in God and He came to their aid ensuring them that “the battle is the Lord’s.” What they needed to do was follow His instructions. Their faith remained steadfast in the Lord God Jehovah and He delivered them without a single skirmish. The enemy destroyed themselves!

The future is uncertain but our faith in God is steadfast! Time is passing swiftly as all of creation marches quickly into eternity and God’s judgment. What lies before us only our heavenly Father knows. God knows where He is going and where He wants to lead us. He knows what He desires to happen in our world today. Paul exhorted the Church to pray for all men everywhere that they might lead a peaceable life in godliness and honesty. God’s desire is for all men to be saved. 1Timothy 2:4, “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” Our Faith In God Remains Steadfast!

Giving Thanks! by Myra Boozer

I have heard it said, "What if tomorrow you were given only the blessings that you were thankful for today?" Now that really makes you think about stopping everything and giving thanks to Our Father for all His many Blessings! Psalms 63:7, "Because thou hast been my HELP, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice."

Giving thanks to our Almighty God for His great Love and Mercy...For His Truth that stands even when untruth is roaming this world and destroying many lives. Thankful for a peaceful day in a world with the threat of war on every hand.

Thankful for Joy even though my heart breaks for the sin that is raging and deceiving many. Thankful that with all the rain we've had our home hasn't flooded or washed away. Thankful for a comfortable home and a good place to sleep when many are displaced because of catastrophes.

Thankful for food to eat when many are starving and Mothers have had to feed their precious babies mud pies with a little salt added. Thankful for a family that I can hold and love...many people all over the world are losing their loved ones.

Thankful for people who speak the Truth in the face of adversity and slander. Thankful for ears to hear and a mouth to speak Your Truth Lord to all who will listen. Thankful Lord, that I know you in a very personal relationship...it has kept me in perfect Peace when my mind is stayed on YOU!

Thankful for a desire to continue the work that you have given us to do...because your Word tells us, "...be Not weary in well doing." 2 Thessalonians 3:13

Thanks Be To God!

1 Corinthians 15:57, “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Thanks be to the God of our salvation who gives us victory through the shed blood of Jesus Christ! There is no mountain too high, no valley too wide that the blood of Jesus cannot transcend and make all things right. All it takes is a broken and contrite heart willing to turn ourselves and all our baggage over to God.

The poor receive the good news in the Gospel!

The brokenhearted are healed in the Gospel!

The captive are delivered in the Gospel!

The blind receive their sight in the Gospel!

The bruised are given liberty in the Gospel!

The burdened and battered are set free in the Gospel!

Seek the Lord while He may be found. Isaiah 55:6, “Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:” 2 Cor. 6:2, “...behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” The Message Bible states it this way, “Well, now is the right time to listen, the day to be helped.” Thanks Be To God!

What Drives You? by Myra Boozer

Have you ever asked yourself, “What causes me to do the things I do and say the things I say?” Do you feel it has to do with the place you were born and raised? Did your neighborhood have a great influence on your behavior and your outlook on life? Does it come from the way your parents nurtured you...or failed to nurture you? Were you greatly impacted by the things you learned from them and your relatives? Or, maybe your greater influence came from your education, the things you learned from teachers or professors.

I believe all these relationships affect our lives in either a positive or negative way. I feel the people in our lives have such an impact on the way we desire to pursue life and become the person we have become.

I attribute my standard of conduct and my choices for living come from my own personal encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ! The Holy Spirit drew me to my knees in repentance for the sin that was passed down to me from Adam and Eve. I was greatly convicted of my sin. I became aware I was a sinner and I needed a savior. It came from a praying Mother who taught me about Jesus from as far back as I can remember. It came from Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and from Church Camp. The preaching and teaching of the Word has had such an impact on my life. For that, I will be forever grateful.

Something drives us all to believe the things that we believe and say the things we say. Wherever we got our belief system, we must search the scripture to see what God's Holy Word has to say about the matter because that's what counts. It is the Word that has stood the test of time and it will stand for all eternity. Each one of us will be judged by the Word. Not my ideas, not my thoughts, not my opinion or the opinion of any other person but God will judge us by His Holy Word. Jesus himself spoke these words in the book of John 12:48 "He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day." What Drives You?

What Is Your Future?

What does the future hold for all of us? Paul wrote to Timothy in 2 Timothy 3:1, “...in the last days perilous times shall come.” He describes a time of mass corruption and a breakdown of law and tradition, times of danger, of persecution and of trial. Truly these are desperate times but the party continues in the world as they appear to be oblivious to the judgment coming upon us. The Bible tells us that as it was in Noah's time so shall it be at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Matt. 24:38, “For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,”

In spite of Noah's warning, this verse describes the reckless way that the people went on their usual course, pursuing their pleasures with doom hanging over them. Life continued as though nothing was amiss. The world was on a collision course with the judgment of God because of sin and disobedience. God gave them warning and opportunity to repent but they laughed at the message and mocked the messenger. For 120 years God left the door of redemption open but when time (God's time) was up, He closed the door to salvation.

Matt. 24:39, “And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

The people of Noah's day “knew not until the flood came.” They did not recognize the signs of the coming judgment. Their attention was upon their own carnal pleasures. Flesh was the driving force in their lives rather than care of the soul.

The Lord Jesus assures us that similar recklessness and unbelief will be found at his coming. We are living in the day that Jesus talked about. The conditions in our world parallel those of Noah's time. The general attitude toward the last day's message is that of disbelief and a false security that refuses to heed any warning. Life continues as though nothing is amiss. Mankind continues to seek his way of living which is focused on selfish, carnal desires. He lives in pursuit of another enticement that will thrill the senses. All he sees is the momentary pleasure, the temporary highs. He doesn't see that he is sowing carnal seeds that will be brought into judgment. Our world is on a collision course with the judgment of God. The whole of mankind is reaping the seeds of sin.

Just as God brought judgment in Noah's generation, He is in the process of doing the same in our world. The greatest failure of a man is to exclude God from his life. You can allow what is to come to do the work of conviction and repentance to accept Jesus in salvation. Or, you can continue in your own way, failing to heed God's warning, and suffer the same destruction of Noah's day. Judgment is upon us. We will reap what we have sown. Hear Jesus' voice today, repent and be saved!!!

He is Jesus…

YES, Jesus Died For You and He longs to come and be your EVERYTHING! 

The Gift Of God Is Eternal Life!

Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Jesus died for us when we were dead in our sins and doomed to an eternity in hell! How can we fully grasp what His dying on an old rugged cross really means to us? Our frail human mind is incapable of fully comprehending the magnitude of God’s gift to us. How can someone whom we haven’t previously known be willing to sacrifice His only Son for our benefit? Romans 5:6, “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

When we knew not how lost we were, God had planned for our total and complete deliverance. Through the precious blood offering of His Son Jesus, the pure and spotless Lamb of God, the penalty for sin was paid. When barely for a righteous man and possibly for a good man some would dare to die, God loved us when we were still sinners.

Jesus died for us and we are justified by His blood. We are saved from the wrath of God as we look to the cross and believe. When the sin in us made us enemies of God we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son. We have now received life through the atonement for our sin by Christ Jesus. He died and rose again to provide our deliverance, to free us from the curse of sin and sin’s punishment.

God’s desire is for all men everywhere to be saved. 1 Timothy 2:4, “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all...” God has prepared the way through the gift of His only Son. The penalty for sin has been paid.  All one needs to do is repent of his sins and accept the Lordship of Christ in his life.

Pray this prayer with me and receive God’s unspeakable GIFT of salvation. “Lord Jesus Christ, I desire to be saved from the curse of sin and sin’s punishment. Thank You for paying the penalty for my sin. I believe You gave Your life to ransom my life. I believe You died on the cross but You rose victorious over death, hell and the grave on the third day just as You had promised. I’m tired of my life of sin. From this moment forward, I give my life to You. I belong to You. Use me for Your honor and glory and give me an eternal home with You in heaven. Thank You for Your GIFT of eternal life in Jesus Christ! Thank You for saving me! Amen!”

What Manner Of Love Is This? by Myra Boozer

I John 3:1, “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God...”

So Blessed to be with Jesus today. His presence was so real and His love for us flowed like a river. My soul drank from the fountain of life that He provides. It is so refreshing and vibrant with HOPE. His water brings a newness to my relationship with Him, that leaves me in awe of His great love for all. I just rest in His forgiveness and bask in His mercy, feast on His blessings and look for His coming.

I wept because of His great mercy and the cleansing power of His blood. He shed His blood on the cross to give everyone just what we need to live in His presence...not just for today but forevermore.

Thankful, just so thankful! I want to always acknowledge Him in my life and never overlook what He has provided by His great hand. He is Jehovah Jireh, my provider. I am so blessed to be part of His great family. What Manner Of Love Is This?

Arise, Oh Lord God Into Thy Resting Place!

2 Chronicles 6:40, “Now, my God, let, I beseech thee, thine eyes be open, and let thine ears be attent unto the prayer that is made in this place. 41 Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy resting place, thou, and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation, and let thy saints rejoice in goodness. 42 O LORD God, turn not away the face of thine anointed...”

2 Chronicles 7:1, “Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.”

We pray for and sincerely desire that the glory of God rest upon His House. You are His house. Ephesians 2:22, “In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.” Solomon had prepared the House for God's habitation and invited God to live there. 2 Chronicles 6:41, “Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy resting place,..” Solomon spared no expense and people gave freely and abundantly. The edifice that was created was a tribute to the glory of God and the love of His people.

Let us prepare this house for the manifest presence of God. Allow the blood of Jesus to wash it clean and make it holy and acceptable to God. Romans 12:1, “...that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” Invite Jesus Christ to live in this house and display His character through you. Give up and submit complete control to the influence of the Holy Spirit. Follow Him as He leads and directs. The result is a life lived to the glory of God and a life filled with love for Him.

God's promise to Solomon was, “...I have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice.” 2 Chronicles 7:12 says, If it doesn't rain...if the locusts devour your crops or pestilence comes...if you will pray, humble yourselves and turn from YOUR way (rebellion), then I will hear you from heaven and will forgive and heal because I see you and hear your prayers.

Regardless of what you may face tomorrow, God will walk with you through it if you will trust Him. Psalm 121:8, “The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.” God watches over everything you do all the time, in every circumstance, and forever. As a believer, you are “covered” by the abiding presence of the Lord. Blessed be the Name of the Lord. Arise O Lord God Into Thy Resting Place!

Leaving No Room! by Myra Boozer

“As the Communist atheists allowed no place for JESUS in their hearts, I decided I would leave NOT the smallest place for Satan in mine...” by Founders of the Voice of the Martyrs.

We must be on guard in what we allow into our hearts and our thoughts. Stay full of God and the Holy Spirit then there is no room for Satan. The Spirit will warn us when Satan is knocking on our door wanting to come in thru the media, or thru unforgiveness, idolatry, pride, or unbelief, to name a few. There are so many ways he will try to enter our minds and take up residence in our hearts. Don't answer when he comes knocking. If you do answer, make sure you answer with scripture! Luke 4:8, "Get thee behind me Satan for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve." We live in a world of sin, and corruption is everywhere we look. We must stay away from it! We cannot partake of sin and remain pure, holy, and Godly!

A well-known evangelist said after receiving Christ in his life, some of his past friends came by wanting him to do drugs with them. He thought about it and said, I would have to lay down what God has done for me in order to go with you guys today. He felt it was not worth the trade! "He washed me clean and gave me back my life. I can't go back to my old ways of living.” Thankfully he would not consider giving up his "New Life" in Christ for the pleasure of sin. The sin that had almost killed him. He was used by God to win many souls during the Pensacola Brownsville Revival.

Remember we are in training for the Lord's Army. When we fall down, we get back up. Never give up on God. Keep striving for the goal. Philippians 4:13, "I CAN do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." With the help of our Lord, we will remain faithful to Him and the calling He has on our life.

So grateful He continues to pursue me and confronts me about my life through His Word. He is still changing me and conforming me to His image, for which I am thankful. I too have a desire that not even the smallest place in my heart is given over to Satan.

"Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path," Psalm 119:105. Guard your heart and thoughts so they are filled with God...LEAVING NO ROOM IN YOUR LIFE FOR SATAN!

Except A Man Be Born Again!

John 3:3, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

There appears to be some confusion among the secular churches about the definition of “holiness.” How can we embrace holiness and sin at the same time? Sure, we need to identify with the struggles of the sinner but we cannot accept the life of sin. And neither can the sinner if he or she wants to be truly free. Sin is a weight. Its destructive powers are like a malignant cancer with its invasive tentacles reaching into every fiber of the human body. The cancer must be identified and eradicated. It is the work of the Holy Ghost to identify the sin in us. It is the work of the same Holy Ghost to destroy the sin as one repents and walks in the redeeming power of the blood of Jesus bringing captive every thought and deed.

We must serve notice to Satan. We must tell him that he cannot exert his influence in our lives. He needs to know that he is not welcome. He needs to feel the fervor of the Holy Spirit when he comes calling. He needs to know that this house is under the supervision of the Lord God Almighty.

Holiness is not adherence to a creed, doctrine, or religious ritual. Holiness is the result of spiritual transformation created in the heart of the believer by the indwelling of the Spirit of God. Thereby the believer becomes a new creation in Christ Jesus, born anew from above. John 3:3, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Holiness is an attribute of the new heart created in the life of the believer. Being born from above, the believer receives his guidance from our Father above and reflects that guidance in every facet of his life. Except A Man Be Born Again…?

No Longer A Slave To Sin! by Myra Boozer

When God changes you, accept the FACT that you have been changed, not of yourself, but by His Transforming Power. You must have your mind made up to never go back to your old ways of foolish habits and careless living. They only lead you back down the same ole path reaping the same ole results, and in the end, it is spiritual DEATH.

Listen to God as he speaks to your heart. Arise and be strong! Walk in the newness of life, free from the bondage of sin and evil. Never offer a half-hearted life to Christ. He requires ALL or nothing. When you give Him your ALL, make sure there are no hidden rooms in your heart with "NO TRESPASSING" signs hung on the doors. Begin your life with Him open and honest (He knows it already). Give him the key to every area of your heart. This commitment will help produce a strong desire for "NO TURNING BACK" to the old life of sin and regrets.

You will wake up in a brand new world with a new attitude about life and living. You have been bought with a price greater than the riches of heaven. The rags of sin won't belong to a child of the King. You are royal now and you will be clothed in royalty. Just as the King's daughter is glorious within, so are you (Ps. 45). When you are come into his palace, you will come with gladness and rejoicing because of the favor that God has placed on your new life in HIM. When you know who you are, the son or daughter of the MOST HIGH GOD, your status changes. You walk, talk, and live in a brand-new world. The old things are passed away. When you love righteousness and hate wickedness, you're anointed with the oil of gladness. You see things through different eyes. Where you once lived in doubt and dread, you now live in faith and trust.

When Satan comes knocking on your door telling you nothing changed when God forgave you and gave you a new wardrobe (spiritual robe), tell him he came too late. Because you now see him for who he is, the great deceiver. Tell him you have a new Lord and Master, Jesus Christ. Tell him you have been washed by the blood of the lamb and you are no longer a slave to sin.

Be blessed with the Mercy and Love of God...Acts 10:15, "Don't call something unclean if God has made it clean," NLT. You are a new creature! Walk in that newness! No Longer A Slave To Sin!

God's Children Will Reflect His Holiness!

A disciple of Christ will reflect the character of God. 1 Peter 1:16, “Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” Peter’s reference is to the command of God in Leviticus 11:44-45 for the people of God to be holy as the one who has called them is holy. Jesus was also our example and was without sin. 1 Peter 2:22, “Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:”

Holiness is a New Testament teaching and has become a serious issue in the 21st century church. If we believe and accept the Bible we must declare that holiness is absolute in the Body of Christ. The Body of Christ is the Bride of Christ and is destined to be presented to Christ as a holy bride washed in the blood of the lamb. Ephesians 5:25, “...Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”

The Bride will be presented in holiness. Jesus shed His blood on the cross as a sacrifice to atone for our sin. In Him, sin is cast aside and abandoned, never to be remembered. The believer is wholly washed becoming a child of God and prepared to be the reflection of his Father. Amen!

Lord, Help Me Drop The Honey Jars! by Myra Boozer

I am reminded of a picture of Pooh Bear out on a limb with all his Honey Jars. The rain is beginning to blast him hard. Now what is Pooh to do? Drop the jars and forget the honey? Safety is most important at the moment.

I thought this is us when the "Rains of Life" come falling down upon our heads. We want to get all our "Honey Jars," our stuff, and find a dry, safe, and secure place high above the water. But remember Pooh is out on a limb.

Now I don't know about you but I have lots of Honey Jars, the stuff that is my favorite, the stuff that is most important. Wow, if I carried all my stuff, it would surely break the limb off, and down I would go.

As the Rains of Life begin to fall, we will have to make some heavy decisions about our stuff. If we are to climb higher with the Lord, we can't carry everything that takes so much of our time and our thoughts. Physically, it is not possible to climb a tree with something in our hands. I know because I have watched my granddaughters grasping for the next limb as they climbed as high as they could in Nana's dogwood tree. They could not have carried anything. They would have fallen out of the tree.

Getting rid of material things is usually difficult when letting them go away from our sight. You know the things we've accumulated, stacked, and stored for years. Just not an easy task to part with, but why do we keep them? If they serve no purpose, it is time to let them go.

I do know that leaving behind the past, the hurts, the anger, the resentment, and the burdens that have no place in our Tomorrow is important. They are not needed. They are baggage that could actually cause us to be overtaken and sink in the flood waters that are spiritually coming upon this world.

I may not have valuable treasures, but anything that my hands are holding to, that takes away my ability to climb higher with the Lord is just not worth it. I can not allow anything to keep me from finding that safe and secure place in Him.

Lord I don't want anything to hinder me...My spiritual safety is most important at this moment...It is beginning to rain harder. Lord Help Me Drop The Honey Jars!
