An Everlasting Kingdom! by Myra Boozer

God is so good! I want to tell you what happened this morning. As I was sitting in my bedroom doing some Bible study, I heard a bird hit my pineapple plant and patio door. I got up and opened the blind to see what was going on. No bird, but laying on the cushioned glider was my camera. Wow, it had been a couple of days since I remember having my camera out back.  Well, all I could think of was that God sent a little bird to my window to alert me of my camera. It wasn't long after that we got a short but hard rain.

As I continued to read and study, one of my scriptures reminded me of how great God is, even in small things. Daniel 4:2, “I thought it good to shew the signs and wonders that the high God hath wrought toward me. 3 How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation.”

I am so thankful for the God I serve, and of whose kingdom I am a part. His Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom! God is still receiving new citizens through His Son Jesus Christ and his death on the cross. However, you must resign from all other loyalties and commit to His rule and His authority. That sounds hard for those who love to be in control. But, once you have given yourself to Him and received His Lordship your soul will rejoice and you will be confident in your decision. You will have no desire to leave the Father and His great provision. He is such a great great Father full of mercy so I thank Him for all He does for me, including the small things. Empowered To Finish The Kingdom Work!

Matthew 24:14, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”

Are we willing to allow the Holy Spirit of God to fully possess our mortal bodies and be transformed into vessels of His Presence? God is looking for willing souls given to His service and the completion of His Kingdom work! However, we must empty ourselves of self will and submit to being poured out as the anointing oil of His Presence upon a sick and dying world. Jesus came to save that which was lost and He still wants to save and deliver lost humanity. Can we allow the Holy Ghost to invade our minds, our hearts and souls and reveal to us our role in His Divine Will? Are we willing to wrestle with the conflict within us as Jacob of old until God brings our deliverance and empowers us to finish His mission here? (see Genesis 32)

Can we sincerely pray this prayer? “Father God, Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy upon us today. In this frail mortal tabernacle, we strive to become the best that we can be. Possess this clay vessel and make it unto honor and glory for your Name sake. Fill us again and again with the nectar of heaven that we may be poured out, emptied in the perpetuation of the Gospel and building up of the Kingdom of God. Refresh us in the power of your Spirit that we may be strong, resilient, and victorious. Capture our minds, our hearts and our souls and hold us in reserve to your Divine purpose and will. Constrain us to entertain your presence and your voice until your revelation comes. May we be like Jacob, engaged in heavenly warfare until your deliverance comes to us. Pour into us your strength, your courage and your faith. Sustain us in this present conflict with the manna that only you can provide. Walk with us today instructing us and guiding each step we take. Open our eyes to what you are doing and where you are going. Anoint us that we may go with you to the consummation of all things and time without end. In Jesus' name! Amen.” Empowered to Finish The Kingdom Work!

Take Authority Over The Darkness! by Myra Boozer

Satan wants us to carry every trivial little problem until it grows so huge that it breaks us down. He wants us to be so covered over by it that we can't see the light of day. He is a LIAR and the father of lies but for some reason we just keep letting him talk. And talk he will as long as we give him an audience.

It is time to take authority over any and all voices that tell you there is no hope. It seems that so many people are hopeless today...so many troubles, trials, sicknesses and heartbreaks.

We cry out, “Lord when will our country wake up and quit all this hate and evil that spews from so many?”

There seems to be a great shadow of darkness hovering over this world like a giant blanket. It is coming because many people have let trivial things bring them so low that they could not stand up in Faith and take authority over it!

NO, it isn't easy to take authority over the darkness but we must! We must pray continually for GOD to push back the darkness!! Jesus is LIGHT...He is HOPE...He is PEACE. Don't allow all the sorrows of this world to pile up on your heart and break you down. Take them each one to the LORD! He knows our every concern and He will help us deal with all the turmoil of our day.

Resting in His POWER to push back darkness is the key to making it! Jesus gives us the strength to go on until HE COMES! Encourage one another with the FACT He is COMING SOON! Take Authority Over The Darkness! 

Jesus Gives Us Power To Prevail!

Matthew 28:18, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

According to the Bible, we know that God is always the VICTOR! God is Sovereign in power and authority and when He is challenged He always WINS. In the book of Exodus, when God was bringing His people out of slavery in Egypt, Satan challenged God. God said, “let My people go,” and ten times Satan replied through his servant Pharaoh, No! God responded with ten plagues of pestilence, disease and death. Israel was protected! God was VICTORIOUS!

Satan challenged God again at the Red Sea. With Pharaoh's army behind them and the Red Sea before them, Moses and the children of Israel had no where to go except to God. God’s response, “...stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD,” Exodus 14:13. God miraculously divided the Red Sea and Israel walked through on dry ground. When all of Israel had reached the other side, the waters miraculously returned to their former state drowning the entire Egyptian army. God is always VICTORIOUS!

The same Bible teaches us that Jesus will WIN this present raging spiritual war! Though the enemy rises up to interfere with our mission, our victory has already been secured. Jesus declared victory at Calvary as He proclaimed, “It is finished!” John 19:30, “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.”

God sent Jesus to be the Savior of the world, to take upon Himself the sin of all men and pay the awful price for sin. That price was the death of the sacrifice, His sacrifice. But, in three days Jesus came out of the grave to declare our final victory over death, hell and the grave. Consequently, He embodies the Power of God to Prevail over all things, “...of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth,” Philippians 2:10. Jesus is our power to prevail. Stand Still And See The Salvation Of The Lord! 

A Future Built On Sinking Sand! by Myra Boozer

Dr. David Jeremiah asked the question, “We seem to have lost all interest in the Christian Values that built America. What does that mean for our Country's future?”

My answer is this...America has forgotten the old path that our fore fathers traveled and they have sought for what they call "The American Dream." One of prosperity and progress, giving place for greed to capture the hearts of many, opening the doors for deceit and deception in all areas of trade.

The love of money and the desire to have plenty has caused many to forget their families at home, leaving them to the daycare system and even to the streets. No time for nurturing or discipline, no time for God and His plan for their lives.

The desires of the flesh have over ridden the desire for God and many homes have been broken causing God's plan for marriage (one woman for one man for life) to be cast aside.  The result has been the development of much sadness and anger. This has been the reason for much rebellion, drug use and unwanted babies which has led to many abortions.

Many of those who have been leading our country have no Christian Values. Not all, but many have given in to lower their standard to fit into society. This has not only taken place in the arena of government but also in our spiritual world. Men and women have lost their desire to follow the standard of God because of seeking "The American Dream."

Seeking to fulfill every desire known to mankind has opened the door to much evil. We can see where this philosophy has led. America built this dream in the sand of pleasure and desire and the waves of Judgment are coming fast upon her shores. My suggestion is to be waving the banner of SURRENDER to God Almighty, for He alone can and will save us.

Matthew 7:24, “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.” 

God, Have Mercy On Our Nation!

I am reminded of the Prophet Daniel in chapter 9 as he rehearsed before God the completion of Jeremiah’s prophesy of seventy years in captivity and desolation. He realized that they were coming to a time of change for the people of Israel. However, he also knew the importance of repentance before God. Therefore, he began to offer up prayers and supplications with fasting in sackcloth and ashes. He stated before God in Daniel 9:5, “We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments: 6 Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land...8 O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee. 9To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;...18 O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.” 

His petitions were for mercy in the face of such blatant disregard for God’s Law. America’s only hope lies in our willingness to repent and return to the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Our only hope is for a move of God, a spiritual awakening, an igniting of Holy Ghost fire that will renew man’s desire to repent and follow God.

My prayer today is that the Holy Spirit would blow upon this nation and as the wind moves the mighty oak, that Americans as one collective body would bow low in convicted repentance. I ask God to break the obstinate rebellion that has seized the mind, heart and soul of so many. Lord, bring America to her knees once again for it is there that we will find our true purpose in God's plan. God, Have Mercy On Our Nation! 

When Something Is Just Not Right! by Myra Boozer

If you ever feel that something is just not right, maybe you feel a little anxious, a little fretful, maybe a little uncertain about things and you just can't put your finger on it. I have found the answer. Get into worship and let the Glory of The Lord come down giving you a refreshing that comes from His presence. If that doesn't work, just talk to Him one on one, asking Him if there is anything in your life that is not pleasing to Him...maybe your attitude, your actions, or your inability to rely on Him. Learn to love the closeness that worship and prayer brings. Sometimes it takes effort and discipline, especially in the beginning. We are His children and sometimes children don't always make right choices. So we must ask if we don't already know, "God what is wrong in my life?"

This world is a headache sometimes, well all the time...but God desires that we overcome the world. Don't get caught up in the worldly system or the SIN that is so prevalent and very seductive. It can reel you in and take over quickly, putting your life in a state of turmoil and real danger. Instead you can experience wonderful fellowship with the Lord and cast off all the heaviness the world throws at you.

We must remember our physical freedom that we hold so dear cost a great price. Our forefathers suffered and many died because they dared to declare Independence from the mother country England. I know our Freedom is not Free...it cost and is still costing. “God help us to know that our Freedom in You cost Your only Son, Jesus.” Oh, how He loves us and we must not trample His mercy as we see some who trample our American Flag and our American Heritage.

Stand firm in the things God has shown you in His Word. Live true to the standard He has set for you to live by. The Bible, His Word is not to be ignored, pushed aside or rearranged to fit ones lifestyle. Understand there is Life in the boundaries and guidelines of His Word. There is protection from shame and disgrace. There is forgiveness and freedom in His mercy. There is transformation from a drab and hopeless life to a life of overflowing joy and peace, even in the midst of trouble. It can happen when you open your heart with confession instead of trying to keep secrets from the Lord. He sees all anyway...we can't hide anything from Him. He so desires for us to come as a little child and give him our heart, our worship and our allegiance. He will make all things new in our life as only He the Creator of all things can do! 

Lost Souls, Lost For Eternity!

John 4:35, “Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.”

Don’t postpone the harvest! The harvest is ready! I am hearing the message of Jesus’ soon coming more each day and I believe that is the inspiration of God allowing us to know that time is short. We cannot delay in fulfilling Christ’s commission to preach the Gospel and make disciples for Jesus. We cannot afford to delay or be negligent in our Divine task. There is too much at stake. The salvation of those we love and influence is at risk! Who will reach them if we are not obedient to His calling? How can we escape if we neglect this great salvation. The time to win them is while God is calling us! If He is instructing us to take the message, He is preparing hearts to receive the message!

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the answer to the needs of all people. In the book of Luke, the angels announcement of the birth of Christ was the proclamation of Good News for all mankind. Luke 2:10, “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.” All men must hear the message of redemption and freedom in Jesus Christ.

Our “Mission” is ordained and empowered by God. Christ commissioned the Church but as His disciples, we must embrace His command and accept individual responsibility to share the “Good News.” The Church will fulfill Her role and complete Her Mission. As individuals we have a choice. We will either embrace His call or settle for something less than complete surrender. Without total abandon for Christ we cannot finish our assignment successfully. We cannot afford to fail in this endeavor.

Matt. 7:21, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” Lost Souls, Lost For Eternity!!! 

Struggles Are Necessary! by Myra Boozer

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint." Isaiah 41:31

I have been thinking about struggles lately, maybe because I have had a few. I came across this story and it helps put things into perspective. Maybe it will help someone else.

 A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared. He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could and it could go no further. So the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon.

The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings. The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that at any moment the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body which would contract in time. Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It was never able to fly.

What the man, in his kindness and haste, did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were God's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.

SOMETIMES STRUGGLES ARE EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED IN OUR LIVES. If God allowed us to go through our lives without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as we could be. We could never fly! Lord, help me to not doubt the path you have chosen for me because you are working ALL things for my good, even in the struggles.

This life is full of struggles but one Day, and it may not be that far away, we are going to hear that trumpet sound and our wings are gonna open wide, lifting us right off this earth to meet our Lord in the clouds. We will be so glad we endured whatever we had to endure to make us strong in the Lord. I'm gonna lift my hands til I reach Heaven...a sign of surrender to the Almighty One and also a sign of adoration to OUR KING. Struggles Are Necessary! 

One World Order!

The World Council of Churches is one such example of rebellion against the will of God. The World Council of Churches (WCC) is a collective of “347 churches, denominations and church fellowships in more than 110 countries and territories.” In recent years, the World Council of Churches has been an advocate for “an end to the illegal occupation of Palestine” by Israel. “It's time to end Israel's illegal occupation of territory; it is time for the political rights of the Palestinian people to be recognized and implemented;”

The World Council of Churches is a product of the United Nations. Both organizations are on the wrong side of God’s Word for Israel. We know that Israel will possess the land God gave to Abraham. God’s Word promises the restoration of the nation of Israel and that invariably includes the land God gave to Abraham. We don't know the conflict and warfare that will occur before that time. But, God began the restoration of Israel to the Holy Land in 1948 and they will remain there under the covering of God’s Covenant with them.

Through our spiritual eyes we can see the approaching consummation of all things! Civil authority is being surrendered to the powers of darkness. Individual liberties are being destroyed and control relegated to the powers that be...governments, local, state, national and international. The stage is set and the players are moving into place. One world government, one world religion and the restoration of Israel are glaring indicators of where we are on God’s timetable. We can not change what is coming, only our response to it. The sin of the world hastens the judgment of God. Let the watchman on the wall cry aloud as the enemy approaches. In doing so he will save himself and all that will hear him. Repent and return to the ways of the Lord!

Jeremiah 4:18, "Your lifestyles and your actions have brought these things on you. This is your calamity—it is indeed bitter, for it has reached your heart!" ISV 

Not A Death Sentence! by Myra Boozer

Psalm 16:11, "Thou wilt shew me the path of life; in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore."

Being on the wrong road does not have to be a "death sentence." It is sometimes difficult to admit, "I have made a wrong turn." The sooner one stops and checks the road map, the sooner one can get back on the right road headed in the right direction.

The same is true in our spiritual life. One must admit, I have taken the wrong exit, or sometimes just kept on going on the same road that was taking them further and further from the intended destination. Actually now is a good time to talk to the Lord and confess one's disobedience or whatever the distraction that caused the error. This is not an easy task but it is the only one that works.

People call it different things such as indifference, stubbornness, hardheadedness, to name a few. The Bible uses some words like rebellious, stiff-necked, blind, unaware, dreamers, complainers, those who have gone in the way of Cain. I think the bottom line is they who have gotten on the wrong road just don't have the strength or the desire to stop and evaluate where they are headed. They go deeper and deeper into depression, loneliness, confusion, and heartache which can lead to spiritual death. All because they were not willing to check with the Word of God (The Spiritual road map). They move further and further from understanding what the Will of God is for their life. They can no longer reason out what to do and are overtaken by guilt from their failure in following the wrong road.

Being on the wrong road does not have to be a "death sentence." The Lord knows the way you should go. Cry out to Him in your despair and listen to His voice. When He speaks and gives you direction, follow His directions, the sooner the better. He can lead you out of your dilemma and set you on a straight path. A path that leads to a much better ride with a clear and determined destination of Eternal Life at the end of the way. 

The Spirit Of Anti-Christ!

The stage is being set for Satan's last stand. The world wide events that are taking place at this very moment are a test run to evaluate how humanity will respond to a One World Order. I believe the framework is being established for the consummation of all things. The spirit of Antichrist is moving all players into their positions. Demonic powers are running rampant and only held in check by the WORD and the HOLY SPIRIT. The world population is following this deception like sheep to the slaughter. Because the nations have rejected the influence of the Gospel and the work of the Holy Spirit, God has left them to their own devices to the destruction of their societal structure.

There are few voices to warn the nations when “danger” should be shouted from every mountain top. This last phase will be the “new world order,” or “one world order.” This is the spirit of Antichrist energized by the spirit of darkness, Satan. We know from Scripture that his goal is one world government and one world religion.

On January 1, 2016, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development officially came into force by the United Nations. This “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” was adopted by world leaders in September 2015 at an historic UN Summit.  Over the next fifteen years, these 17 new Goals will universally apply to all countries. This document was originally presented in 1987 as “Agenda 21.” The goal is to unify world laws on environment, religion and distribution of wealth. The plan proposes an array of actions which are intended to be implemented by every person on earth. It calls for specific changes in the activities of all people. Effective execution will require a profound reorientation of all humans, unlike anything the world has ever experienced. Every person in the world needs to read “Agenda 2030.” The analysis reads like a horror story right out of the book of Daniel or Revelation. All you need is a leader as described by Daniel or John in the book of Revelation. Just do an internet search for Agenda 2030.

God is sending judgment upon the nations because of the attempt to take Abraham's land from his descendants. The wrath of God will be poured out upon the inhabitants of this world during the time of Great Tribulation spoken of by Daniel, Jesus and John. However that does not impede God from rendering is judgment upon a wicked and rebellious people. (continued) 

Can You Believe? by Myra Boozer

Can you believe how fast things are falling apart in this country and the world for that matter. God will not put up with evil running rampant for an extended time. He will come and fight against these evil people who seem to prevail.

God has all power and those who think they are so high and mighty to come against God and His Holy Word, will find that they can ONLY do what God allows them to do. One day they will tremble in His presence, bow their knee and confess He is LORD. But that will be too late! NOW is the day of salvation!

Somehow I believe these, that have turned to such rebellion against God and the Truths that our country was founded upon, at some point rejected the still small voice of a loving God who offered His only Son for their sins. But they rejected Him! When any person keeps on rejecting God they are falling deeper into the arms of an evil master that will consume them with his deceitful ways and carry them with him to the pits of hell.

God has given us another day (well, He could come at any time, before the night has ended) but we have this time right now to surrender our hearts, our minds, our wills. It could be too late for those who don't have ears to hear but for those who have ears, let him hear what the Spirit is saying. Call on the Lord while He is near! Seek Him while He can still be found. Please don't take God for granted and spurn your opportunity to know Him as Lord and Master of your life.

"For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled," 1 Peter 3:12-14.

There is a song that says, "God is fighting for us. He is on our side. We will not be shaken. We will not be moved." God is so faithful to His children! He will not allow them to be defeated. Can You Believe? 

The Battle For Your Soul!

1 Peter 5:8, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.”

The devil is like a wild animal seeking to devour you. He is attempting to destroy everything and everyone associated with God. The spirit of Antichrist is becoming stronger as each day passes. His followers are becoming more vocal and more active. Their goal is to destroy everything affiliated with Jesus Christ. This is the rise of the last days influence of Satan setting the stage for the beast in the prophecy of Daniel and in the prophecy of John in the book of Revelation.

This conflict between good and evil has manifest itself through the centuries with an ebb and flow of severity. However, the consequences of the conflict can be directly related to the rebellion of man against the laws and sovereignty of God. This is a conflict between the Light of Heaven and the powers of Darkness. Satan’s war has always been against the Sovereignty of Almighty God and the man of flesh is his pawn in this conflict.

Although times of evil and darkness have gripped the earth in centuries past, the grand finale is still to come. Satan is preparing for his last stand. He knows his end and will do everything in his power to destroy all he can. He has targeted world governments, world leaders, Christian leaders, Christian churches, families and individuals. His goal is to destroy order and control. He wants to create total chaos.

The course of human history is directly related to the willingness of mankind to seek after and follow the sovereign will of God. In recent years we have seen a digression from Biblical morals and values and a more rapid deviation from Biblical principles in the past decade. This behavior has brought us to where we are as a nation and a world community.

The consequences of rebellion will rule eternity. How we respond to the voice of God will determine our future and the future of all who will hear us. We must understand where we are on God’s timetable! We must remain alert and watchful to escape the cataclysmic events just ahead! Sound the alarm!!! 

God Wants Your Commitment! by Myra Boozer

Many people turn to God when they have serious troubles and trials. They need help!...so they go to Church, say their prayers but only for a short time. They turn back to their old ways until the next time when they just can't handle their problems any longer. Over and over they do this. So Sad! They just don't understand!

God is not a "pie in the sky" kind of God. He wants us to love Him for who He is not for what He can do for us in time of need alone. He is not an on and off God. He is a full time God and wants a full time relationship with His Children.

Today is not the time to forget God! The battle is raging and it is so dangerous to be out in the cold without your covering. God wants to shield you and keep you from all harm and danger of the enemy that is out to steal, kill and destroy. Satan is sneaky and will come at you in many different forms...sometimes as an Angel of Light. Don't be deceived by him! Run to God today and find Him to be your answer. He is waiting with open arms, longing for you to make a commitment to Him. Stay the course, don't run away. "We love Him because He first loved us," I John 4:19. God Wants Your Commitment! 

Be Still And Know (Encounter) God!

Psalm 46:1, “...God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. We need to know God! We need to encounter God! We need more than an intellectual knowledge of the person in the Bible referred to as the “Lord God Jehovah.” We need a life changing encounter with Him that will put us on track to experience His Person every day of our lives.

We need to know God in such an intimate manner that He can give us specific instructions for this hour. Now is the time to pray and seek Him for individual direction and instructions for the Body of Christ. We cannot afford to delay or be negligent in this task. There is far too much at stake. The salvation of those we love and influence is at risk. How shall we escape if we neglect this great salvation. Time is short! Our deliverance is at hand!

Will you pray this prayer with me? “Lord Jesus Christ, I want to be still and hear Your Voice. Open our ears to hear Your Message for today. Bring forth in us Your Purpose and Will. Send Your Power to explode in the lives of those who will believe, sending forth the fragments of Your Glory penetrating the most formidable obstructions that Satan has built. Invade the darkness with the light of Your Presence, sending out disintegrating beams of Your Deliverance. As the rays of the sun warm and revive creation in the spring, may the rejuvenating Power of Your Love and Mercy call to life the sedentary soul. We pray this in the Name of Jesus, Amen!” 

Let God Arise! by Myra Boozer

Stay close to the Lord and receive His Favor.

Trust in Him and receive His Strength.

Long for Him and receive His Glory.

Walk with Him and receive His Power.

Ask of Him and receive His Wisdom.

Listen for Him and hear His voice.

Praise Him and He will give you a Song.

Humble yourself before Him and He will exalt you.

Wait on Him with good courage and He will strengthen your Heart.

Eat at His table and you shall be filled.

Delight yourself in Him and He will give you the desires of your Heart.

Submit yourself and He will wash you clean.

Give what you have and He will multiply it.

Sit at His feet and He will teach you.

Look to Him and He will show you great and mighty things.

Put your Hope in Him and you will not be disappointed.

Lift Him high and others will be drawn to Him.

Love righteousness and hate wickedness and He will anoint you with Gladness above others.

Remember Him and you will rejoice.

Let God Arise and his enemies will be scattered.

Call upon Him and He will answer you.

Seek Him and You will Find Him. 

Where Is Your Hope?

Job 14:7, “For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. 8 Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground; 9 Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant.”

We can observe destructive elements at work in our world. The forces of darkness are unleashed upon the wicked and innocent alike. However, the children of righteousness will rise above the wickedness and allow the light of Jesus Christ to dispel the darkness. There is hope as long as that hope is in the power of the blood of Christ.

Job, in his distress, declares that the tree is better off than a man. It may appear that the tree has been destroyed, cut at the base and fallen down. But the promise is that it will bring forth it’s tender branches again though the stock of the tree die in the ground and the root grow old in the earth. Though there is only the scent of water it will bud and grow new branches.

The future of the tree is in the hands of the Creator. The tree will produce its fruit in the will of the Creator. Job came to the understanding that his future was in the hands of God. He submitted his will to the will of the Creator therefore he was able to proclaim in Job 19:23, “Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book! 24 That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever! 25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: 26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:”

Our future is in the hands of God! He is fully aware of where we are and what our needs are. When we come to that understanding and submit our will to His will, He will take us to where He is going. He will renew our hope in Him! 1 Peter 1:13, “Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;” Jesus is coming soon! Where Is Your Hope? 

Can You Hear The Rumbling? by Myra Boozer

How do you stop an avalanche? What is an avalanche? It is a large mass of loosened snow, earth, etc sliding down a mountain, an over-whelming amount coming suddenly. You can"t stop an avalanche! But you can hear the rumbling noise and get out of the way...possibly.

Are you hearing the noise of the over-whelming avalanche that is coming on this world? If not then maybe we need to get very quite and still and listen. The rumble is getting louder, but it seems our world just turns up their music of distraction (what-ever it may be) to drown out the Sound of the coming disaster.

There is good news! Jesus is the rock! He is the fortress! He is the shelter in the time of storm! Stand strong in Him today and know that His Father has EVERYTHING in His hands, including the avalanche that will come suddenly. Trust in the one who created Heaven and Earth and all that is in it! Can You Hear The Rumbling? 

The Lord Of Our Storms!

Acts 27:27, “But when the fourteenth night was come, as we were driven up and down...29Then fearing lest we should have fallen upon rocks, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day. 30 And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship, 31 Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved. 32 Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off.” They had to remain in the ship and continue to have faith in the revelation that the Lord had given to Paul. God's plan of deliverance was to include the debris of the broken vessel, the vessel that had sustained them thus far. But, they had to be willing to stay with the ship until she literally broke apart on the rocks. Those broken pieces became their salvation. When our circumstances are falling apart, we must stay true and obedient to God’s command in order to be saved.

Acts 27:33, “...Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing. 34 Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you...36 Then were they all of good cheer, and they also took some meat. 37 And we were in all in the ship two hundred threescore and sixteen souls. 38 And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, and cast out the wheat into the sea.” The fast was concluded. They could take comfort that all would be saved and they were all (276) of good cheer. They continued in faith and obedience as they threw everything overboard to lighten the ship. They had done what they knew to do! Now was the time to allow the Lord to bring an end to their storm. They took up the anchors and committed to the sea, completely free of all encumbrances, completely sustained by the wind of God.

Acts 27:41, “And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmoveable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves...43 the centurion...commanded that they which could swim should cast themselves first into the sea, and get to land: 44 And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.” God's process will run its course and in the end, His purpose is secured. How many times in our own lives have we survived on the broken pieces of our ship? The storms have been strong and the struggle bitter! But, we have stayed with The Lord Of Our Storms and our end is secure in Him!

Righteousness Exalteth A Nation! Conclusion by Myra Boozer

Are we a Christian Nation? Do we want to be a Christian Nation? This nation is now calling evil "good" and good "evil" which does not line up with being a Christian nation. How can we look at any other people and call them bad when we are killing our unborn babies by the millions? I will not wait to be called a Christian nation before I take my stand. As a Christian individual, I must stand for God and His rule in my own individual life. I am bound by the promise I made to Him as a child to follow Christ to the best of my ability and understanding of His Holy Word. I cannot speak for anyone other than myself.

The day is here that what we “CLAIM” is not enough. What we “ARE” is what is going to count. If my belief does not affect every part of my life it is not my belief, only my profession. A country is only as good and strong as its people. Pastor Carter Conlon stated, “The United States of America has been warned. Our shunning of God will have a consequence. Already our rejection of TRUTH is leading to social, moral, financial, and political breakdown. Violence is sadly reaching alarming proportions. Yet in the midst of it all, we still have a chance to embrace Jesus Christ. His heart and His arms are still open, though quickly fading from our collective view. For those of us who know God, we must NOW call out for His mercy to remain.” We must have people living holy lives in order to have Christian homes, Christian schools, and a Christian Nation. Do we really want a Christian Nation? Then we must turn our lives over to God.

Our God Jehovah is a God of Freedom... “Freedom is not the right to do as you please, but the power to do as you should.” Until a people or person sees their need of God they will continue on the path they have chosen, but the end will be devastating. God, please protect the innocent in this Country and open the eyes of all who are in the valley of decision trying to decide if they are Christian or NOT. Time is running out! We just can’t have it both ways! Righteousness Exalteth A Nation!  

Declaration Of Freedom!

Isaiah 26:3, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

“In the morning when I rise, give me Jesus.” So goes the lyrics of one of my favorite songs. Jesus is my Beginning and He will be my End. He is my Sustainer and my Provider. Though I pass through this intense darkness, He is my Light and my Salvation. I may not know the next step to take but He is my Guide and gives me perfect peace in the turmoil. He will speak to this storm and declare “PEACE BE STILL.” He restores the strength of my soul and causes me to rise up on wings as an eagle. He makes me to soar high above the conflict in this world, separated from the struggle. He keeps me in the hallow of His hand and nothing can pluck me from His saving grace.

That is the power of His abiding presence! Power to push back the evil and darkness that has captured the innocence of life and destroyed so many precious souls. The power of His presence in me enables me to declare in the Name of Jesus, “YOU SHALL PROCEED NO FURTHER.” There is power in the Name of Jesus over all that comes against me. As He abides in me and I in Him, He will vanquish every foe and cause me to triumph over every evil plan of the enemy. Oh! Victory in Jesus, my Savior forever! He will keep me in perfect peace as my focus is on Him! That Peace is my total Freedom Forever! Amen! Take this whole world, just Give Me Jesus! 

Righteousness Exalteth A Nation! by Myra Boozer

America started out with a humble respect for God and country...to the point of saying "In God We Trust" on our money and "One Nation under God" in our pledge to the flag. We are a far cry from where we started out. Men have devised their own way and left God out.

I believe God wants all people everywhere to acknowledge Him and He will Bless those who do. He alone will judge the ways of man. He will discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serves God and him that does not! Psalm 9:17, "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and ALL the nations that forget God." Psalm 33:12, "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people chosen for his own inheritance.” Proverbs 14:34, "Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is reproach to any people.” Every believer has a challenge before them to rise in the face of our enemy and say, “we proclaim the Truth of God’s Holy Word as revealed to us by His Holy Spirit.”

Are we a Christian Nation? Do we want to be a Christian Nation? The statement has been made that we are a "post-Christian Nation." Does that bother you? What can we do about it?

There is actually only one thing I can do and that is "Be Christian," be who I am and do everything in my power and ability to live out Christian values as the Holy Spirit convicts me. I can not change the world! I can only change me and my choices. I refuse to stoop to the level that the world is following. It may seem insane or ridiculous to you but it is my responsibility as a child of God to stand my ground and give my life for what I believe to be truth. Whether you agree or not, my decisions are not based on your feelings but upon the truth revealed by the Holy Spirit that lives in my heart. I must stand by God’s Word or why would I claim to be a follower of Jesus Christ.

I think we are really no longer a Christian nation because many who call themselves “Christian” have decided to “make the rules” instead of "God Rule." When we don’t follow the dictates of our heart with God being our rule then we have no rule. We only do what is best or most appealing to us and our own desires. This leaves God out of the picture all together...even if we call ourselves Christian, we are not. (continued) 

The Soul Cries Out For Freedom!

Hebrews 12:1, “...let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.”

The soul cries out for freedom, freedom from sin’s influence and sin’s wages. The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life.  Disobedience is sin and sin is a weight that paralyses our attempts to be right and live right.

We need to identify our struggles in life and decide that we will not entertain the influences of sin. And, neither can any person if he or she wants to truly be free. Sin is a weight! Its destructive power is like a malignant cancer with its invasive tentacles reaching into every fiber of the human body. The cancer must be identified and eradicated.

It is the work of the Holy Spirit to identify sin. It is the work of the same Holy Spirit to destroy the power of sin. He does that when we repent and walk in the light of the Word. He does that because of the power of the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ. Accept the saving grace of Christ and don’t look back. By faith in the finished work of the blood of Jesus, tell Satan that he has no hold in your life. Tell him he can no longer exert his influence in your life. You need to decide that he is not welcome and he needs to feel the indignation of the Holy Spirit’s disapproval.

Submit yourself completely to the leadership of God, resist Satan’s influence and he will flee from you. James 4:7, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.” In the preceding verses, James addresses the pride that exists in the fleshly heart. God will not receive our proud boasting but if we will humble ourselves He will give us His grace. Humble yourself before God and He will lift you above your storm and you will experience the Freedom your Soul Cries Out For! 

Bid Me Come, Lord! by Myra Boozer

Lord, seeing you, having my focus on you doesn't always make the circumstances disappear. But, my focus and faith rise to a different level. There I can regain my knowledge of who you actually are and realize how you have every detail in your Book. You know the beginning from the end. You are in control of all that is going on in this world today.

You Lord are greater than my mind can conceive. I only get a glimpse of you greatness when I turn my eyes toward you. When Peter walked upon the waters, the winds and waves didn't cease for his delightful experience. They continued to roar! However, He was not looking at them! His focus was upon the one who called him to "come." He rose above them, but they were still there.

We must not be overtaken by the circumstances around us, and yes they seem to be quite out of hand. We wonder what will happen tomorrow? We may question the stability of everything we have ever trusted in. But, just like Peter, we can say, Lord, bid me to come to you. Call me, Lord! Lift me up out of this ship of confusion that is no longer my refuge. I trust you to be my safe haven.

Lord help my focus to be on you, not on the things that are crumbling under my feet. Help me, Lord, to step out in faith and realize that you are all I need. You are my hope, my everlasting consolation.

You are calling all who are heavy laden to come unto you! One day you will, "with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God" call us to come up to where you are to be with you forever. That is the call we long to hear. Bid Me Come, Lord! 

Let It Start In Me! Conclusion

(see 6/17/23 for part 2)

“There is a change coming. Let it start in me.” The lines have been drawn. God will bring His plan to completion. Satan will fight against God and all who identify with His holiness. The wind of God’s Holy Spirit is effectuating the change necessary in the heart of every believer to make us ready for the finale. Change is coming! Are you willing to be changed?

“Father, I pray for the Church, the Body of Christ, all of us. Help us to hear what You are saying to the Church. Create within us a renewed desire to walk in intimacy with You. Bring us so close that the wind of Your Spirit cannot pass between us except we are aware of what You are doing in the Body. Father, we must have Your direction and instruction. Push back the darkness that clouds our minds and thought and prevents us from walking fully in Your light. Burn away the fog of deception with the fire of Your Holy Spirit in our presence. Lead us forward into Your Divine plan for each of us and collectively as the Body of Christ. Shine Your Light upon our path that we can see clearly the way You have chosen for us. Help us each one to find our place and serve with renewed passion. Create that passion in us as we submit to the direction of the Holy Spirit. Empower us to share Your message in the anointing of Your Spirit. Break the chains that prevent us from seeing total victory. Create within us an insatiable hunger for renewal and spiritual awakening. Father God, send Your Holy Ghost fire among us. Baptize us afresh in Your Pentecostal power. Father breathe upon us once again. Breathe Your life into this breathless, hopeless mortal body. Quicken us with Your Life giving Spirit. Cause cloven tongues of fire to rest upon us yet once more. Thank you, Jesus! Stir the burning embers of our past experience that they may break into a full blaze of present revival fire. Send Your fire Lord and prepare us to receive Him when He comes! In Jesus Name, Amen.” 

Don't Let Satan Steal Your Identity! by Myra Boozer

I believe Satan is working overtime to steal, kill and destroy everyone he can. If you have heard anything about him, you know he is a liar and the father of lies. He is a fallen angel who is destined to be imprisoned in the bottomless pit. (See Revelation 20)

I want to tell you that he can only do what you allow him to do! As a Child of God, you are covered by the blood of Jesus. You have been purchased by the Son of God, bought with the price of Jesus’ great sacrificial death.

You are no longer the same person. You are the redeemed of the Lord, and joint-heirs with Jesus Christ. You're God's very own child. That means you are of royal descent. You have authority and have the support of YOUR Father, God, to fight your battles against Satan.

Remember what I told you about Satan. He is working overtime in these last days to steal, kill and destroy. (See John 10:10) I feel today more than ever he is out to steal your identity in Christ Jesus. He will accuse you and lie to you about your Father, God. He does everything he can to make you doubt the Father's love for you, even to the point of telling you that you're not even saved. He will bring up the past and run you down with it if you allow him to!

I want to warn you! Immediately, you need to stand your ground which is the Word of God. Tell Satan out loud if you need to that you are a redeemed Child of the Most High God.

Satan wants to steal your identity causing you to doubt who your Father is, causing you to fall into unbelief. He will strip you of your dignity and honor if you allow him to! Satan works in our mind and can cause us to doubt our Father's love for us. He can bring about a helpless and hopeless state of mind if we allow him to!

Rise up in Victory today as you stand on the Word of God! Tell Satan who he is and who you are. You are a blood bought, righteous child of God. Jesus’ royal blood now flows in your veins!

Thank you, Father, because you have given us the right to be your children, heirs of your Kingdom. You have made us rich in power and authority over every evil force that comes against us, all because of your "Name." It's because of who you are and the fact that we belong to you. We are your children! Romans 8:14, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." 

There's A Strong Wind Stirring!

(see 6/16/23 for part 1)

The 2^nd line of the first verse says, “There’s a strong wind stirring...” As I listen to these words, I cannot help but to reflect on Acts chapter 2:1, “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” I declare by the Holy Spirit that there is a strong wind stirring across this land. A fresh wind of the Holy Ghost is blowing across our world. Previously where there has been doubt and defeat, God is raising up men and women who are embracing His Voice, His Vision and His Victory. He is showing through the lives of the faithful that His eternal promises are secure. God is revealing Himself to this generation as the awesome, all powerful, all knowing, loving, nurturing Father that He is.

God’s desire is to enlist all who will answer His call. The 3^rd line of the first verse of the song states, “There’s a voice that’s calling, will you be set free?” Jesus says in Rev. 3:20, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” Who ever will, let him come! God is gathering the masses of His heavenly forces. The forces of darkness have assembled in opposition to LIGHT and LIFE. LIGHT will dispel the darkness. There is no doubt of that truth. The question is, “which side will you choose?” (continued) 

Listen To The Voice Of God! by Myra Boozer

Do you want to tell others about Jesus but just don’t know where to start? Being a Christian and feeling the everyday challenge to share Jesus with your world is sometimes overwhelming. Many people shy away from talking about their personal experience with Him. They want to push that responsibility off on the “Minister”. But when you have a heart for people you want to somehow relay the “Good News Message” to them.

This is where a person starts. "Listen to the voice of God." He will lead you! It may be small steps at first but keep listening and obeying His Word. God knows your heart, and He will give you those desires as they are rooted and grounded in HIM. As we are changed more and more into His likeness, people will see and know who He is. They may not tell you or admit but they will see and know. That means the Holy Spirit can and will deal with their heart and they will make a choice to accept or reject what has been shared with them thru your life. Because of your love for Jesus, people will be reached.

Keep your light burning for Him every day in every way by spending time in prayer, meditation and study of His Word. When He opens doors or windows you will know and understand the way you are to go.

Alone time with Him is what we all need more than anything. So many distractions today so many voices saying come and do this or that. But, when God directs, their voices become very faint and His becomes stronger. He will confirm Himself over and over to you that you are in His will. Rejection will be evident at times and it HURTS, but Jesus heals our hurts in His time.

Keep on keeping on for Christ in the area you feel He is calling. We are not all called to do the exact same thing, but we have the same purpose...Telling the world the “Good News” of Jesus Christ...the one who saves, delivers, gives hope and a future with Him in Heaven. Keep a hunger and thirst for His righteousness. The promise is, YOU will be FILLED...you will overflow...and others will receive Light for this journey if they so desire. His light shining thru you puts them face to face with His TRUTH! Listen To The Voice Of God! 

There Is A Change Coming!

The lyrics of a song by the Gaither Vocal Band has been especially stirring to me recently. The title of the piece is “Let It Start In Me.” The first line of the first verse states, “There’s a dawn arising on a brand new day.” This world has entered a new era. There’s a new feeling in the air, a feeling of something extraordinary just ahead, the conclusion of former things and all things becoming new. Paul states in 2 Cor. 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” Paul proclaimed this truth to emphasize the affect of the new birth in Jesus Christ. However, we are poised at the culmination of all things. We are standing at the door of the most earth shaking event in human history.

There is a renewed expectation among God’s people, renewal of faith and trust in the promises of God. This is a “brand new day,” a day to reach for the very best God has for us. God sees all the way to the end and desires nothing but good for us.

There is no reason for the child of God to feel discouraged. He will walk with us to our final mortal breath. Paul said in 2 Cor. 4:8, “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;” We may feel that we are pushed down but we cannot be defeated.

The Holy Ghost is calling us to rise up! Rise up in the anointing and commission of Jesus Christ and finish our mission here. Jesus said in Matt. 28:18, “...All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth...” Jesus established His position of power. He, who was in the beginning, who was a participant in the creation of all things. He, who is one of three persons in the Divine Trinity of God, spoke the Words of God and brought all creation to life, Gen. Chapter 1. He, who was from the beginning has now given His power to the Church, His called out body of believers with the Divine responsibility to GO and do what He has done.  As the Church we must petition the Spirit of the Lord to come upon us and anoint us to preach the gospel to the poor, to heal the broken, to bring deliverance to the captives, healing to the blind both spiritually and physically, and provide comfort for all who mourn. Sing Your Song Of Deliverance! by Myra Boozer

When you feel caught and destined to die in a trap that Satan has laid out before you, call to remembrance some people from the Bible. Joseph was rejected by his own brothers, thrown in a pit, and sold as a slave. Paul was shipwrecked and so much more. Daniel was thrown in a den of Lions. Job lost everything including his health and his family. But, each of these men had songs of Deliverance to sing in the end. You can also if you choose!

A trap or a pit of despair can seem like eternity. When you feel forsaken, lonely, depressed, financially stripped, sick, and even at death's door as these men were, what do you do? What did they do? They called out to their God and trusted in Him to deliver them.

You must not look at your circumstances but look straight up from your pit and cry out to the Lord your God. I pray you will see the Light and the Angel of the Lord will be your Deliverer!

Most of us would do anything to avoid life's test and trials, especially the temptations set before us because of our own desires. But they still happen and we have the choice to remain caught or be set free by the delivering power of God. God will always bring good out of the hard times when we endure and trust in Him.

Acknowledge your fleshly desires and the sin that has beset you and repent. Give all your pain to God and confess your hurt, the resentment, and the anger. Allow God to help you to forgive those involved in your hurt and receive God's forgiveness and His love for you.

Remember, He cares! He loves you and He will stay close during your healing process as long as it takes. He is never far, always near. Soon, you'll be ready for the grand finale. So sing your Song of Deliverance and Freedom!

Psalm 40:3, “And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.” 

Take Me To The King!

Hebrews 4:14, “Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

It is expedient that we have the constant nurture and admonition of the Lord in our lives. We must have a fresh Word from the throne of God to empower and direct in our struggles today. We need an infusion of His power and might into our present conquest. We must have the presence of the Holy Spirit to provide wisdom and courage for today’s decisions.

How shall we proceed? What are the solutions to the problems we currently face and the issues we will face in the future? We must look to the Lord Jesus Christ to receive the direction we so desperately need! The Bible tells us to come boldly to the throne of grace and make our petitions known to God through our mediator, Jesus Christ.

How can we come boldly before the throne of God? Because Jesus is our Advocate and is pleading our case to the Father. He is our “great high priest” and continually makes intercession for us by the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:26, “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.” Even when we don’t know how to pray, the Spirit prays for us according to the will of God.

How do we know that God cares? Because Jesus our “great high priest” feels our pain! He left His throne in glory, came to earth in the form of mortal man, was tested in every way we could ever be tested and did so without sin. He understands our human condition and is moved with compassion “with the feelings of our infirmities.”

How can we trust the promise God has made to us? Because of who He is!  Psalm 24:1,”The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. 2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. 3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? 4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. 5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. 6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah. 7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. 8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. 9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. 10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.”

Take me to the King of glory that I may plead my cause and trust Him with all my heart, that I may not depend upon my own knowledge and ability. Lord, may I always acknowledge you and allow you to lead me. 

The Soul Cries Out For Truth! by Myra Boozer

May those that are spiritually hungry rise up and say so…

May they call out to the teachers, preachers, the elders,

the Body of Christ...the Church...

May they tell them they are looking for a refuge, a half-way

house until they get HOME...

May they tell them the decor and the newest electronics

are not their interest...

May they tell them it is the Fresh Bread that brings

Life and Hope...

It isn't found in the steeple or the pews…

Neither is it found in the technology of the service...

But in the TRUTH OF GOD'S WORD...the Spirit, the life giving transformation...

It is found in the revelation of Jesus and His love for their

cries, for their struggles and heartaches...

The world is heartless, cold and cruel...

They don't need to become another face in the crowd,

overlooked and forsaken...

The hungry need to be fed...

"Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind: Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock," I Peter 5:2-3. 

A Mighty Wind! Breath Of Heaven Breathe On Us! Conclusion

Jesus’ instructions to His disciples had been to go to Jerusalem and tarry (pray) until the Holy Ghost comes. Luke 24:49, “And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” The Holy Ghost is the power part of our commission to spread the Gospel message. Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

Jesus fulfilled His promise in Acts 2:1, “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” The presence of the Holy Ghost was “a rushing mighty wind.” That is the way Christ wants to affect our world today. This rushing mighty wind of God changed the world in the lifetime of those very disciples.

In Acts 17, the Gospel message had met with tremendous opposition. The messengers of the Gospel put their lives at stake. The unbelieving Jews of Thessalonica were so indifferent to the Gospel that they sought to take Paul and Silas and give them to the angry crowd. Acts 17:6, “And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;” The unbelievers were compelled to declare that these Christians had turned the world upside down and had come to their city to do the same.

I would to God that it could be said of this present generation of Christians, they have turned the world upside down for Jesus Christ. However, if we are to be instruments of this harvest, we must be endued with power. It will take being filled with the Holy Ghost, “the rushing mighty wind,” to fulfill Jesus’ commission and finish our mission in these last days. Only the power of the Holy Ghost can seal and protect us from the darkness and evil that has flooded this world. The Holy Ghost in us will make us victorious in this spiritual war.  Lord, send Your Mighty Wind upon us! 

A Prickly Nest! by Myra Boozer

As I recall, a mother eagle pulls out all the fluff and makes the nest prickly before those young birds want to take flight. I really think God is doing that for us today! It is getting mighty hard to feel at home in this world anymore. God knows that many are fearful of the unknown and leaving the place we have grown accustomed to is not highly favored or on our bucket list.

When you wake up and hear of so much hatred and evil happening all over the world even in your own hometown, you wonder what will happen next! It's just not a safe and peaceful environment anymore. Too many angry people are fighting to voice their opinion and do their thing no matter who it hurts.

People are arguing about politics and politicians as though they are going to change someone's mind. It isn't really going to happen. Those who have their minds made up will continue until God shows them differently.

How can people declare to be Christian and say they are looking for the return of Christ, when they condone the evil acts and deeds that plainly go against the Word of God? I don't see them changing by my conversation. It will take strong conviction for people to change.

Sinful deeds and those who condone those deeds are in the same category. It is not okay to go against the Word of God for any reason. When the Word is mocked as is being done today by people who call themselves Christian and stand for a woman's right to abortion they are denying the Word of God and putting judgment upon their heads. The word clearly states "thou shalt not kill."

A true child of God wants no part of what is going on! Yes, God is allowing the fluff to be removed and the thorny world we live in is piercing our very souls because of the evil that is taking charge. Heaven is sounding sweeter all the time! 

A Mighty Wind! Breath Of Heaven Breathe On Us!

(I wrote this some time ago but it is most relevant today to where we are as a people.)

It was a hot summer morning in the South. You could say that it was a typical day for the season, high humidity with little to no wind. I went about my business without really giving attention to these details but that was about to change.

I stood in quiet solitude and listened to the tree leaves as they began to respond to a slight breeze. It was as though they were individual instruments in a grand symphony, the pitch and tempo rising and falling but in perfect harmony, each separate but still in sync.

The wind was slight at first, barely noticeable except for the song the leaves sang. I began to feel the cool wind as it caressed my face and hair. The sensation grew in intensity! The wind blew stronger and then subsided. It came in pulsating burst, strong enough to take the hat from my head and then at rest.

I observed and felt this scenario repeated for several moments. And then, a voice spoke into my spirit, “a rushing mighty wind.” Yes Lord, I know it is You and I hear what You are saying! Our Lord, Jesus Christ wants to reveal Himself through the Holy Ghost to change our world. His desire is to fill you and me with the Holy Ghost, endue with power (His Power) from on high, and turn our world upside down. He wants the world to acknowledge His presence in us. (continued) 

Something To Think About! by Myra Boozer

If there were no God and no Bible filled with prophecy about the last days, what intelligent person would think that this world could last very long with all that is going on? When Nations are about to fall because of their economy and collapse because of debt...moral decline has hit BOTTOM...the earth is coming apart at the seams because of earthquakes and volcanoes...people are killing the innocent at an increasingly alarming rate...evil men have grown more and more corrupt in their deeds, hating and killing all over the world...disease and sickness are out of control.

What kind of future do you see? It is horrible, beyond horrible if time goes on! But for those who love God and have chosen to follow Him, He has made a way of ESCAPE. He is coming to take us out of this horrible and depraved atmosphere that has been created by ungodly men and women.

People have pushed God aside and want to create a new world with NO rules or standards of Godliness. It seems everyday you hear more plans to confuse and turn our children and grands from the truth that God designed for us to follow and be as He created us to be. Every day sin is getting stronger in the hearts and minds of sinful man. Even if there were no God and no Bible...(WHICH THERE IS) this world could not go on the way it is going. Sin is like a cancer! It destroys!

The great news is that God spared not His only begotten Son but sent Him to earth to take the punishment for the sin of mankind. The ball is now in your court. You can choose to allow Him to forgive your sins and choose to follow Him or remain as you are and suffer the punishment of sin throughout eternity.

2 Corinthians 13:5, "Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?" Something To Think About! 

Put Your Faith In God!

Galatians 6:7, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

We are engaged in a great spiritual war with the unholy forces of darkness. The scope of this conflict is greater than any we have faced before and will become increasingly more intense as we proceed. We must place ourselves in position for optimal results for ourselves and those that we can assist. Jude 1:23, “And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.”

We control the outcome of our battles by how we respond to them. If we become distressed and overwhelmed, the enemy will use that to defeat us. If we maintain faith and assurance, the Lord will be our rock and fortress. How do we achieve the latter and allow Christ to fight our battles? We must embrace Galatians 6:9 and have faith in God!

It all begins with an honest, faithful relationship with Jesus Christ. Come to the cross and leave everything there including yourself. Romans 12:1, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” When you give it all to Him, it becomes His property and all belongs to Him. God will vigorously defend that which belongs to Him.

However, we must be strong in faith and submit to the way of God. We cannot become fractured by the circumstance and attempt to take control again. We will only repeat previous failures. Give all to the Lord and leave it there! Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

The discipline of our heavenly Father will save our lives. We must give Him our total selves, the good, the bad, the challenging and the pleasant. “Give them all to Jesus, shattered dreams, wounded hearts and broken toys...He will turn your sorrow into joy.” Put Your Faith In God!
