“Father
God, Lord Jesus Christ have mercy upon us today. In this frail mortal
tabernacle, we strive to become the best that we can be. Possess this
clay vessel and make it unto honor and glory for your Name sake. Fill
us again and again with the nectar of heaven that we may be poured
out, emptied in the perpetuation of the Gospel and building up of the
Kingdom of God. Refresh us this day in the power of your Spirit that
we may be strong, resilient, and victorious. Capture our minds, our
hearts and our souls and hold us in reserve to your Divine purpose
and will. Constrain us to entertain your presence and your voice
until your revelation comes. May we be like Jacob of old, engaged in
heavenly warfare until your deliverance comes to us. Pour into us
your strength, your courage and your faith. Sustain us in this
present conflict with the manna that only you can provide. Walk with
us today instructing us and guiding each step we take. Open our eyes
to what you are doing and where you are going. Anoint us that we may
go with you to the consummation of all things and time without end.
In Jesus' name! Amen!” Yes, it is time to pray!
Hebrews 9:28, "So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation."

It Is Time To Pray! Part 3
Daniel
6:10, “Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went
into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward
Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed,
and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.”
Daniel
did as before. He prayed! The prophet Daniel was not so different
from you and me. He lived in a time of displacement and captivity for
his people. He struggled to remain at peace with his captors and
remain true to the Lord God Jehovah. But, when he was forced to make
a choice, he always chose God.
When
Daniel knew that the decree was signed forbidding anyone to pray to
any other god except King Darius, Daniel made an open show of his
allegiance to God. He went into his house, opened his windows toward
Jerusalem, knelt down and prayed. He did so three times each day and
gave thanks to God as he had done before. He was persecuted by his
captors for his disobedience but God protected Him. It was during
this time of intense trial that God revealed prophecies of the future
for the nation of Israel. The most relevant to his time being chapter
9:2 revealing the prophecy of Jeremiah that the seventy years of
captivity was almost complete. One principle that we can take away
from Daniel's experience is that God reveals Himself and our future
in Him during times of our intense trial. It is during those times
that we seek guidance and rely so heavily on Him. He uses our faith
and dependence to lead us into our future.
Daniel
prayed as before! His prayer life was the foundation for his
existence both present and future. When the enemy tested his love and
loyalty to God, Daniel continued doing what he did every day. The die
was cast and the pattern established. Therefore, Daniel held to his
faith in God and God delivered him.
The
substance of our life in Christ must be established before the storm
comes. We must know that the foundation of our life is built upon
Jesus Christ and all other ground is sinking sand. Therefore, when
the trials of life test us, we continue doing what we have always
done. We pray and trust God as we always have done and God will
deliver us once again!
“Lord
Jesus, help us to pray like Daniel prayed. Help us to trust like
Daniel trusted. Help us to be delivered like Daniel was delivered.
Thank you, Lord, for the power of your promises. Direct our steps to
walk in your word and experience the power of your promises. Order
our steps that we may walk in your perfect peace. In Jesus' name!
Amen” Yes, it is time to pray!

There Is A Change Coming! Part 2
The
lyrics of a song by the Gaither Vocal Band has been especially
stirring to me recently. The title of the piece is “Let It Start In
Me.” The 3rd line of the first verse of the song states, “There’s
a voice that’s calling, will you be set free?” The Holy Spirit is
calling the hopeless, the destitute, the broken, the captive. His
invitation is to deliverance and freedom! God’s desire is to enlist
all who will answer His call. Jesus says in Rev. 3:20, “Behold, I
stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the
door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”
Who ever will, let him come! God is gathering the masses of His
heavenly forces. The forces of darkness have assembled in opposition
to LIGHT and LIFE. LIGHT will dispel the darkness. There is no doubt
of that truth. The question is, “which side will you choose?”
“There
is a change coming. Let it start in me.” The lines have been drawn.
God will bring His plan to completion. Satan will fight against God
and all who identify with His holiness. The wind of God’s Holy
Spirit is effectuating the change necessary in the heart of every
believer to make us ready for the finale. Change is coming! Are you
willing to be changed?
“Father,
I pray for the Church, the Body of Christ, all of us. Help us to hear
what You are saying to the Church. Create within us a renewed desire
to walk in intimacy with You. Bring us so close that the wind of Your
Spirit cannot pass between us except we are aware of what You are
doing in the Body. Father, we must have Your direction and
instruction. Push back the darkness that clouds our minds and thought
and prevents us from walking fully in Your light. Burn away the fog
of deception with the fire of Your Holy Spirit in our presence. Lead
us forward into Your Divine plan for each of us and collectively as
the Body of Christ. Shine Your Light upon our path that we can see
clearly the way You have chosen for us. Help us each one to find our
place and serve with renewed passion. Create that passion in us as we
submit to the direction of the Holy Spirit. Empower us to share Your
message in the anointing of Your Spirit. Break the chains that
prevent us from seeing total victory. Create within us an insatiable
hunger for renewal and spiritual awakening. Father God, send Your
Holy Ghost fire among us. Baptize us afresh in Your Pentecostal
power. Father breathe upon us once again. Breathe Your life into this
breathless, hopeless mortal body. Quicken us with Your Life giving
Spirit. Cause cloven tongues of fire to rest upon us yet once more.
Thank you, Jesus! Stir the burning embers of our past experience that
they may break into a full blaze of present revival fire. Send Your
fire Lord and prepare us to receive Him when He comes! In Jesus Name,
Amen.”
There
is a change coming! Are you willing to be changed? (continued)

Portrait Of My God!
"Father
God, Lord Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit of God, when I survey the
awesomeness of who you are, I stand in wonder of your person. You are
the Creator of all things yet you are my Father. You are the Life and
Sustainer of all things created yet you are my Life and more
abundantly. You are my Way, my Truth and my Life. In you I live and
move and have the entirety of my being. You are the power of the
Almighty God inhabited within the person of the Holy Spirit as
witnessed in the book of Acts. Yet you are my Strength, my Power, my
Comforter, my Teacher, my Paraclete. You are the Divine and
Magnanimous Person who inhabits all of eternity yet you are my
Friend, my Companion, my Heart and my Soul. There is no one like you!

There Is A Change Coming!
The
lyrics of a song by the Gaither Vocal Band has been especially
stirring to me recently. The title of the piece is “Let It Start In
Me.” The first line of the first verse states, “There’s a dawn
arising on a brand new day.” This world has entered a new era.
There’s a new feeling in the air, a feeling of something
extraordinary just ahead, the conclusion of former things and all
things becoming new. Paul states in 2 Cor. 5:17, “Therefore if any
man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away;
behold, all things are become new.” Paul proclaimed this truth to
emphasize the affect of the new birth in Jesus Christ. However, we
are poised at the culmination of all things. We are standing at the
door of the most earth shaking event in human history.
There
is a renewed expectation among God’s people, renewal of faith and
trust in the promises of God. This is a “brand new day,” a day to
reach for the very best God has for us. God sees all the way to the
end and desires nothing but good for us.
There
is no reason for the child of God to feel discouraged. He will walk
with us to our final mortal breath. Paul said in 2 Cor. 4:8, “We
are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but
not in despair; 9Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not
destroyed;” We may feel that we are pushed down but we cannot be
defeated.
The
Holy Ghost is calling us to rise up! Rise up in the anointing and
commission of Jesus Christ and finish our mission here. Jesus said in
Matt. 28:18, “...All power is given unto me in heaven and in
earth...” Jesus established His position of power. He who was in
the beginning, who was a participant in the creation of all things.
He who is one of three persons in the Divine Trinity of God, spoke
the Words of God and brought all creation to life, Gen. Chapter 1. He
who was from the beginning has now given His power to the Church, His
called out body of believers with the Divine responsibility to GO and
do what He has done. As the Church we must petition the Spirit of
the Lord to come upon us and anoint us to preach the gospel to the
poor, to heal the broken, to bring deliverance to the captives,
healing to the blind both spiritually and physically, and provide
comfort for all who mourn.
“Let
Start In Me.” The 2nd line of the first verse says,
“There’s a strong wind stirring...” As I listen to these words,
I cannot help but to reflect on Acts chapter 2:1, “And when the day
of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one
place. 2And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing
mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it
sat upon each of them. 4And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost,
and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them
utterance.” I declare by the Holy Spirit that there is a strong
wind stirring across this land. A fresh wind of the Holy Ghost is
blowing across our world. Previously where there has been doubt and
defeat, God is raising up men and women who are embracing His Voice,
His Vision and His Victory. He is showing through the lives of the
faithful that His eternal promises are secure. God is revealing
Himself to this generation as the awesome, all powerful, all knowing,
loving, nurturing Father that He is.

It Is Time! pt.2
Where
am I? We need to be ready to leave where God is not and go to where
God is! It is always important to know where we are and where God is.
Where are we in relation to where God desires us to be? I personally
feel the need to press in and press through the opposition of the
enemy into the good that God has for me and all that I may influence.
Jer.
29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the
LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected
end.”
God
has “good” planned for those who will answer His call to
discipleship. He has a promised (secured) end or divine heritage. We
need not question our finish if only we will heed the voice of God.
Jer.
29:12, “Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto
me, and I will hearken unto you.”
Oh,
to call upon God, to seek His face and hear and see His answer! He
promises to hear and respond (hearken). Our challenge is to clearly
perceive His response. The Spirit of God is pushing back against the
darkness that permeates this sinful world. God is calling His
warriors to come along side Him, join in the battle and share His
victory. He is calling us to our knees to intercede for a lost and
dying world.
Jer.
29:13, “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for
me with all your heart.”
“...ye
shall seek me, and find me...” God is always available. He is
always with us. But we must have the sense of His presence to
recognize His voice and to understand what he is doing or planning to
do. God's promise is that we will find Him when we search for Him
with all our heart. The human condition requires the intervention of
our creator. We always stand in need of God's assistance. The
question is, “Do we really want his help?” Are we willing to
relinquish complete control of our lives to Him? He knows the way we
take (the path we should follow) and will direct our steps
accordingly.
God
has a plan for us. A plan for good and not evil. He has an expected
(secured) finish for His people. Lord, help us to search for you with
all our heart. Help us to walk in your manifest presence and to seek
you with all our heart! Amen. Yes, it is time to pray! (continued)

Time To Look Up! by Myra Boozer
Just
thinking how Satan works to paint a picture of a horrible, no win
situation in the lives of those who may be going thru a dry valley. A
place where you are thirsty for a drink of spiritual waters, a place
where you seem to be all alone and no one seems to have time to give
you an encouraging word...a time when the wall just won't come down
and the Lord seems to withhold the ladder for you to climb over and
then with everything else it's time to pay those bills and the money
is low...the tears seem to flow and the heart breaks. But, you find
that the Lord is standing in front of you holding out His hands to
you...wanting to lift you from the valley and sit you on the mountain
of Hope where the sun is shinning and the birds are singing the song
of deliverance. It is up to you, after you pour out your heart and
rid your self of all the doubt and the fear, reach up to the One who
can change that picture and give you the best drink of water you have
ever had. Tear down those walls and open those doors that have been
closed. This is for you tonight if you are looking down instead of
looking up. God loves you...love Him back and watch things began to
change.

It Is Time!!!
Many
voices in the Church are calling the Body of Christ to Prayer. Today,
we stand at the portal of one of the greatest times in human history.
We dare not move forward without full understanding of the gravity of
our response to the call of God and the effect of that response upon
ourselves and all that our lives might touch. Our future will be
defined by what we do in that moment of our choice.
Many
have been praying long before the presidential election and before
the inauguration of the 45th President of the United
States. Those prayers have brought us to where we are now. But we
can't stop the prayer meetings. After 9/11 we had an opportunity to
seek God and turn this nation around. But the praying didn't last.
After only a few weeks we drifted back to business a usual. We cannot
afford to take for granted the opportunity God is giving us. This is
our last chance as a nation. Pray Church Pray like our lives depend
on it. Because they do!
Can
we pray? Father God, Lord Jesus Christ, we do here and now accept
your challenge to pray in travailing prayer for our world that is
lost and broken. We desire the Spirit of prayer to intercede. Open
our spiritual eyes and ears so we can see and hear the cries of the
lost, the beaten and the infirmed. Teach us to understand what they
are facing. Guide us to see and hear them as you do. Give us the
compassion and love that you have for them so that we are inspired to
join in their redemption. Lift us up in the power of Your Word being
fully dressed in faith to lead the captives free. Anoint us with your
power that we may speak to the mountains before us and they will be
moved into the sea. Let us see the prison doors spring open at the
mighty thrust of Your Presence. Help us to run into the battle with
such passion that others are seized with the same fervor. I can hear
the sound of mighty armies engaged on the battlefield. Can we pray?
Can we go? (continued)

Living Water! by Myra Boozer
Lord,
I sense your Life Giving Water is flowing so freely for all today...I
see it sparkling in your light with beauty as it flows from your
Throne...I can hear the sounds of freedom splash against the
banks...It is calling one and all to come and drink and be filled
with this rich and powerful Life Giving Source...
The
call is going out to the stranger who has never seen or tasted of
your True and Living Waters...Those whose god is Religion and not
Salvation thru the Grace of Jesus Christ..Those who wonder thru this
life and exist on mere fables and theories...
The
call is to the prodigal who once tasted and thrived but then decided
his own path... Who has forfeited the treasures of joy and peace,
that only your waters can bring, because of a seemingly better way...
The
call is to the stubborn who think they have no need of you...Those
who think you don't exist and insist on denying you. They accept the
counterfeit water offered by the worldly system...
The
call is to the church goer who stands in the congregation weekly,
offering up praise from a heart that doesn't know you personally...
The
call is to the man or woman who stands behind the pulpit who has no
real connection to Your Holy Spirit. Who just reads the words from
their notes and tries to make it pertinent to those who are dying
from rhetoric...
The
call is to the husband or wife who has lost their love for their
family because of lust and desire to be with someone that belongs to
another...
The
call is to the youth today, those who are searching for love and
acceptance...Those who are desiring family and a home where love and
Truth prevail...
The
call is to the addicted, those who have sold their very soul to this
trap and they can't get out...Freedom is available thru the precious
blood of Jesus...
This
call is to the congregation of people who attend services of programs
and rituals that have replaced the Word of God being preached in the
Spirit of Truth and Power of Your Resurrection.
This
call is to those who have lost their passion for you Lord. Those who
no longer desire to be in Your Presence and feast at your table...
This
call is to the deceiver and the one who is striving so hard to
convince someone else that Good is Evil and Evil is Good...
Lord
I pray that those who have ears to hear will hear and not only hear
the call but heed the call. Many souls are thirsty in a dry and
desert land...But there is a River that flows from your Throne to
fill all who will come and drink of Your Water...Only Jesus can give
this gift that every soul desires...

Finish The Kingdom Work!
Can
we sincerely pray this prayer? “Father God, Lord Jesus Christ have
mercy upon us today. In this frail mortal tabernacle, we strive to
become the best that we can be. Possess this clay vessel and make it
unto honor and glory for your Name sake. Fill us again and again with
the nectar of heaven that we may be poured out, emptied in the
perpetuation of the Gospel and building up of the Kingdom of God.
Refresh us this day in the power of your Spirit that we may be
strong, resilient, and victorious. Capture our minds, our hearts and
our souls and hold us in reserve to your Divine purpose and will.
Constrain us to entertain your presence and your voice until your
revelation comes. May we be like Jacob of old, engaged in heavenly
warfare until your deliverance comes to us. Pour into us your
strength, your courage and your faith. Sustain us in this present
conflict with the manna that only you can provide. Walk with us today
instructing us and guiding each step we take. Open our eyes to what
you are doing and where you are going. Anoint us that we may go with
you to the consummation of all things and time without end. In Jesus'
name! Amen.”
Are
we willing to allow the Holy Spirit of God to fully possess our
mortal bodies and be transformed into a vessel of His very Presence?
God is looking for willing souls given to His service and the
completion of His Kingdom work. However, we must empty ourselves of
self will and submit to being poured out as the anointing oil of His
Presence upon a sick and dying world. Jesus came to save that which
was lost and He still wants to save and deliver lost humanity. Can we
allow the Holy Ghost to invade our minds, our hearts and souls and
reveal to us our role in His Divine Will? Are we willing to wrestle
with the conflict within us as Jacob of old until God brings our
deliverance and empowers us to finish His mission here? Matthew
24:14, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the
world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
