The Holy Ghost Will Reveal Truth In Us!

We want so badly to believe that what we know and understand about God and His Kingdom is truth. In an effort to convince others that what we believe is truth, we fall into Satan's trap and become emissaries of a carnal doctrine espoused by the flesh. Since we cannot understand God with the carnal mind, we must rely upon revelation and validation by the Holy Spirit. Is it truth because we believe or do we believe because it is truth? The obvious answer is, we believe because it is truth and God has brought us into the revelation of truth.

Our understanding will continue to evolve as we grow in God but the truth remains constant forever. What we need is a relationship with God in which we can lay aside our beliefs and allow Him to teach us His Truth. The central issue is not our perception of what is right or wrong but our unquestionable obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will convince mankind of their sin (missing the mark). Jesus said concerning the promise of the Holy Spirit, “And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;” John 16:8-9. True believers will obey the leading of God. It is not necessary to fully understand where He is leading but rely on the Holy Spirit for confirmation. God will validate His Truth in the lives of His people. The Message, p. 47-48.

Truth is Born of the God in Us!

Truth comes in its entirety from the throne of God. It cannot be a mixture of Spirit and flesh but must be 100% God. Any deviation is a mixture of heaven and earth and will result in a dilution of the heavenly message. The Truth is born of God and has to be born of the God in us. We must be born again of the Spirit of God!

But what is truth? God is truth! John 14:6, “Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. 7 If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him." Jesus was the incarnation of God and as such the manifest character of God. And in God is no variableness. “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” James 1:17. The truth of God is constant but our understanding continues to change. Therefore our understanding truth is dependent upon our growing unto Him. Eph. 2:20, “And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.” Our concept of truth will continue to change as we move progressively toward Him in the complete revelation of who He is. The truth doesn't change, only our understanding of it.

The Holy Ghost Is The Spirit Of Truth!

"It is imperative that the Body of Christ derive the correct interpretation of scripture. The only way that can happen is through the unopposed work of the Holy Spirit and wholesale acceptance of the Truth. We don't have to understand all that the Holy Spirit reveals but just to know that it is He who is revealing. The complete understanding may be for a later time." The understanding will come according to His time and purpose relative to the mission of the Body of Christ. The Message, p. 49-50.

Recognize and Embrace the Work of the Holy Spirit!

There are many voices claiming to speak for God. It is paramount that we learn to recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit and separate from the seducing spirits of this world. Although God uses human vessels to share His message, we must know God in an intimate relationship so He can speak directly to us.

We must recognize the element of revelation in our relationship with God. Recognize is “to know and remember because of previous knowledge or experience.” Our previous experience and knowledge will cause us to know and remember what God has spoken to us. Remember that “Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart,” while the rest of society just “wondered at those things which were told them,” Luke 2:18-19. Pondering is in the heart where wonder is in the mind. There are so many in the church world who have a religious experience in their minds, where they need a revelation in their hearts. Our future and our survival will depend on the revelation of God's plan and embracing that plan in our hearts! Not only will we experience competing doctrines but Satan is unleashing all hell against the Truth. When you live Truth, the enemy will come after you. Only through Divine revelation and submission in the Holy Ghost can we know the TRUTH and remain FREE. The Message, p. 48-49.

Are You Listening?

"God has so much He wants to tell us. He wants to prepare us for what is just ahead but many cannot hear. Why can they not hear? They hear the words, only the words! The Gospel is being preached! The Holy Ghost is warning of end time events! But they are listening with their ears. Jesus said, they have eyes to see but cannot see, they have ears to hear but cannot hear. Just as that generation who heard the message of Jesus, rejected the truth of the Gospel, there are many who will hear this message and reject it. What happened to that generation? They missed their opportunity for salvation and deliverance by their Messiah because their religion closed their spiritual eyes and ears. I fear that there are some today who will miss this great opportunity to see the unrestrained revelation of the rapturing Jesus because their religion has closed their eyes and ears to the Truth. Jesus is coming and soon. Are you ready? Are you ready to receive the Truth? If not, are you ready to get ready?

Prayer: Father God, I ask you to prepare our hearts to receive what you have prepared for us in this hour. I ask that you remove any obstruction that would prevent us from receiving your Revelation. Take this fresh lump of clay and begin to fashion anew the vessel of your desire in us." The Message, p. 30-31. Available at Amazon.com.

Walk in Intimate Relationship with God!

The result of our intimate union with God is to know His perfect will for our life. God has a good, acceptable and perfect will for each life He has created. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” Jer. 29:11.

The reason many people never fully understand and experience God's plan for them is they lack that intimacy with God. Because of the mercy and grace of the cross, God will meet us where we are. The redemptive power of Jesus' blood will reach into the deepest darkness to rescue anyone, anywhere. But, we must be willing by the strength of the Holy Spirit to leave the darkness and step fully into the illuminating power of His Word. By embracing His Truth and walking in obedience the door is thrown fully open for intimate communion and revelation to “prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Thank you, Jesus!!! Jesus Is Our Standard!

"Our standard should be modeled after the life and teaching of Jesus Christ. Jesus became the new template, the new and better way and He delivered the plan in person. He became the living example through which those desiring God are transformed and enter into a living personal relationship with Him.

This transformation is initiated by the renewing of the mind. The Word states, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” Phil. 2:5. Have the mind of Christ rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation and continuing instant in prayer. Walk in this life in Divine communion with the Father having continued access to His strength, power, wisdom, and deliverance. We cannot think like the world thinks and walk like the world walks and expect to be a citizen of the Kingdom of God and as such walk in unrestricted communion with Him. That is why we must experience a change in our temporal mindset, a spiritual transformation brought about by the Holy Ghost in response to our obedience and submission to Him. Thereby, we are restored to a level of communion that man experienced in the garden before his sin. We are regenerated by the Holy Spirit to walk in intimate, holy and unrestrained relationship with God." The Message, p.29. 

We Need Remaking in the Holy Ghost!

Romans 12:1, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Do not live according to the custom or pattern of this current age. We cannot follow the example of the world community and expect to draw near to God. The customs and behavior of our world system are repulsive to God. His command is, “Be ye holy; for I am holy,” 1 Peter 1:16. And again in 2 Cor. 2:16, “And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,..” The Message p.28

 

Unabated Freedom in the Holy Ghost!

 

My perception is that the Holy Spirit will be an indispensable confidant in the time ahead of us. We must walk in the unabated freedom of the Spirit. Unabated means “continuing at full strength or force without becoming weaker. Being at full strength or force.” We will require the full authority, presence and perspective of the Holy Ghost every moment of this journey. We dare not proceed without being fully immersed in His person and baptized in the power of His presence. His guidance is essential. The choices and decisions ahead will be difficult. Not difficult to make but difficult in the sense of their consequences. A step forward without the perfect wisdom and guidance of the Holy Spirit could put us on a path of irreparable error. At the very least choices made without the full assurance of the Holy Ghost will cause unnecessary sorrow and suffering. The road back is always burdensome.

The storms of darkness will rage against the souls of light. These storms will respond to only ONE voice, the Master’s voice. When the storms of life are raging, He will stand by me. At the mere utterance of His command the winds cease and there is peace.

Psalm 31:19, “Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! 20Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.”

I must run to my hiding place, my refuge from the storm. My soul craves the quietness there. In the stillness, I find peace and rest. He lifts me above this world's raging sea. He quiets the winds and calms the blustery waves. He commands “peace, be still” and the wholeness of my life returns.

End Time Events!

Today, we stand at the door of a grand endeavor. That is to prepare for the appearing of the Son of God, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ. Our challenge is to make ready the bride to be united with the bridegroom. She must remain chaste, pure, and undefiled. The external forces in our world are pressing in upon the boundaries of holiness and righteousness so firmly established in God's Holy Word. The ideals of a carnal theology have infiltrated the pulpit and diluted the faith that was once delivered to the saints. But the Holy Spirit is the sustaining force within. He will lead and guide us into the Truth of His Word.

There are many voices claiming to speak for God. Although God uses human vessels to share His message, we must know God in an intimate and personal relationship so He can speak directly to us. The Holy Spirit and the Word will teach us the Truth. The Holy Ghost will help us to understand the events we are seeing take place every day. When we read God's warnings in His Word and see the events around us lining up with the Word, we must conclude that we are living in the End Times.

Covered by the Manifest Presence of God!

In this wicked and obstinate generation the Body of Christ must seek for and walk in the manifest presence of Jesus Christ. His covering is the key to our progress and ultimate completion of our mission here.

2 Chronicles 7:1, “Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.”

We pray for and sincerely desire that the glory of God rest upon His House. You are His house. Ephesians 2:22, “In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.” Solomon had prepared the House for God's habitation and invited God to live there. 2 Chronicles 6:41, “Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy resting place,..” He spared no expense. The people gave freely and abundantly. The edifice that was created was a tribute to the glory of God and the love of His people.

Let us prepare this house for the manifest presence of God. Allow the blood of Jesus to wash us clean and make us holy and acceptable to God. Romans 12:1, “...that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” Invite Christ to live in this house and display His character through you. Give up and submit complete control to the influence of the Holy Spirit. Follow Him as He leads and directs. The result is a life lived to the glory of God and manifested love for Him.

God's promise to Solomon was, “...I have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice,” 2 Chronicles 7:12. If it doesn't rain...if the locusts devour your crops or pestilence comes...if you will pray, humble yourselves and turn from YOUR way (rebellion), then I will hear you from heaven and will forgive and heal because I see you and hear your prayers. Regardless of what you may face tomorrow, God will walk with you through it if you trust Him. Psalm 121:8, “The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.” God watches over everything you do all the time, in every circumstance, and forever. You are “covered” by the abiding presence of the Lord. Blessed be the Name of the Lord.

Have you noticed how we drift into different ways of living? For example, some people just take life so slow and easy and don't really want to go anywhere, happy where they are....... While others, well always in the fast lane... With places to go and people to see..they are so busy having fun and accommodating their latest find for food or entertainment, they almost live in a whirl wind... I found this profound quote by D.A. Carson.... " People DO NOT DRIFT toward holiness.... Apart from grace-driven effort, people DO NOT gravitate toward godliness, prayer, obedience to Scripture, faith, and delight in the Lord...We drift toward compromise and call it tolerance: We drift toward disobedience and call it freedom:We drift toward superstition and call it Faith.We cherish the indiscipline of lost self-control and call it relaxation. We slouch toward prayerlessness and delude ourselves into thinking we have escaped legalism. We slide toward godlessness and convince ourselves we have been liberated..." Age makes a difference in our pursuit of life and what it offers... but I believe we have drifted until many don't know how to find God.... start where you are and surrender ALL to Him....Then we must pursue HIM until He catches us.... captivates and changes us into His image... no longer trapped by the worldly attractions and sounds...no longer drifting on the sea of time... But looking unto our Blessed Hope , who is coming to rescue us from this world and its alluring deceptive ways....mb

We can not afford to be adrift on the sea of life. One of the most dangerous times for a sea going vessel caught in a storm is to lose power and the ability to navigate and point the bow of the ship into the wind and waves. To be adrift on the sea of life is to experience almost certain destruction...bb
